9 Best Hotels in Aruba, From Adults-Only Resorts to Family-Friendly All-Inclusives

"The Hyatt Regency Aruba is home to one of the best pool areas on the island, with both a beachfront adults-only pool as well as a family pool, complete with a two-story water slide and swim-up bar—one of the few on the island. The hotel’s open-air lobby is complimented by the island’s signature, ever-present breeze and overlooks all 12 acres of the beachfront property. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better-manicured grounds, with bridges that traverse a freshwater lagoon stocked with koi, cascading waterfalls, and tropical birds. The hotel allows guests to reserve a palapa the day before, avoiding the pre-sunrise wake-up call that some neighboring resorts require. If relaxing by the water gets old, the Hyatt also offers a wide range of complimentary activities for guests, from aerial yoga to an aloe scrub-making experience. The rooms are clean and bright, most featuring pops of Caribbean-inspired decor and floor-to-ceiling windows." - Jacqueline Dole

10 Best Hotels in Aruba for a Local Stay - AFAR

"You won’t find a better pool than the one that awaits at this 359-room, family-friendly resort situated on the powdery sands of Palm Beach. With cascading waterfalls, a swim-up bar and grill, two outdoor Jacuzzis, and a two-story waterslide, the 8,000-square-foot stunner is every kid’s dream. If more adult-centric diversions are on your wish list, the concierge can arrange catamaran-sailing excursions, deep-sea fishing trips, and snorkeling and scuba-diving expeditions off nearby shores, as well as spa treatments that utilize local ingredients like red mud, seaweed, and aloe vera. The resort’s nine dining options provide plenty of atmosphere for winding down after a jam-packed day: sample seafood specialties like miso-glazed Chilean sea bass in a setting inspired by the island’s plantation ruins, or watch the sunset over the water, rum punch in hand, from your perfect perch at the pier bar." - AFAR Editors

The resort was absolutely stunning. The staff was always super helpful and kind from the check in desk to the cleaning crew. A special shout out to the bartenders! Danny and Raul were absolutely amazing. The best cocktails on the island. The Danny special needs to be added to the cocktail menu immediately!! when I come back to Aruba I will be coming back here.

Why return to an island so many times? Because it’s a thoroughly enjoyable, predictable, short getaway vacation. It’s always been good weather, warm without being too hot; and the dining scene on the island is amazing.||||We’ve always stayed at this Hyatt because the location is perfect being walking distance to many great restaurants, shopping and other attractions. The friendly service is generally above average to excellent, and the cost is competitive with other similar resorts. The rooms and facilities are updated and are beautiful. The management is excellent, accessible and very responsive.||||There’s an adult pool and an adults pool which are both gorgeous and large enough to meet demand. The hotel restaurants are OK, but the best restaurants are off property.||||Taxi from the airport takes 20 minutes. The spa services are excellent, and the casino is one of the nicest that we’ve seen on the island.||||We scouted a few of the other hotels on Palm Beach this trip, just to compare lobbies, pools, facilities, etc. and see if we were missing anything by repeatedly going back to the Hyatt. My wife and I concluded that there wasn’t anything about the other hotels that we liked better, and a few fell short because of their locations and amenities.||||Pro tips: Book free pool chairs as soon as you book your stay for the best spots, although we’ve gotten good ones the morning of occasionally. Likewise spa services for the best available times. And the most popular restaurants book 3-4 weeks ahead.

We did not stay here overnight. We came for the day and to go on a sunset cruise which check in was on their beach. We used the casino and that was cold and refreshing. Went to grab an alcoholic drink and some waters in one of the outside restaurants...that was great. What wasn't great? The man outside helping with cabs and blowing his whistle for everything. I understand why they use it but Clearly there has to be a better way. Also, he was quite rude. Glad we didn't actually pay the price to stay here for our trip, since during the day was SO crowded at beach and the pool.

Our company stayed at this wonderful hotel during our retreat! They truly know how to take care of their guests and make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend booking your stay there if you ever take a trip to Aruba!

I travel a lot and feel in love with your Hotel and Regency Club but I see it might be under construction. I was looking to return late September, early November. Will it be done or is going to be removed as a option. I pray you and your wonderful Hotel keeps the Regency Club, the lady's are wonderful and it adds so much to the experience of the trip, it was my second time experiencing a Regency Club and they are amazing!!. Please advise if you can. Thank you.||

Love it and planning to go again this September but ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️, the new owner is taking away the Regency Club, as of Aug 1, 2025. I know our room included it and it was not free at least $200 per day added to the fee. A free breakfast will not do. I WILL CANCEL and go to the Marriott they have a wonderful club if you stay there. Unreal what the new owner has done to a great Hyatt hotel

Aruba has now become my favorite destination. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency and it was amazing! The room was beautiful, the view spectacular, loved |how they had the beach chaises set up so you could reserve them. A gentleman would carry the chair cover and a towel out for you and put it on. The food was amazing and the staff couldn't be friendlier.|5 stars 😁

By far the best resort hotel we have stayed at in Aruba. From the minute we arrived it was first class service all around. The common areas, elevators and grounds are immaculate and well taken care of daily. The beach area is super organized, clean and the water and pool staff is very accommodating. Our room was very well cleaned, stocked and left ready at very reasonable times. The open bar staff was the best super friendly and know their drinks. The restaurant was delicious and the wait staff was awesome. The casino was small and needs a little more variety but was plenty for us seeing we are not the gamblers. We have decided to make The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino our official go to from now on. GREAT JOB! See you again soon.
