9 Best Hotels in Aruba, From Adults-Only Resorts to Family-Friendly All-Inclusives
"The Hyatt Regency Aruba is home to one of the best pool areas on the island, with both a beachfront adults-only pool as well as a family pool, complete with a two-story water slide and swim-up bar—one of the few on the island. The hotel’s open-air lobby is complimented by the island’s signature, ever-present breeze and overlooks all 12 acres of the beachfront property. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better-manicured grounds, with bridges that traverse a freshwater lagoon stocked with koi, cascading waterfalls, and tropical birds. The hotel allows guests to reserve a palapa the day before, avoiding the pre-sunrise wake-up call that some neighboring resorts require. If relaxing by the water gets old, the Hyatt also offers a wide range of complimentary activities for guests, from aerial yoga to an aloe scrub-making experience. The rooms are clean and bright, most featuring pops of Caribbean-inspired decor and floor-to-ceiling windows." - Jacqueline Dole
"Located on 12 acres of luxe waterfront property, Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino is an ideal babymoon respite. The resort features an adults-only pool with private cabanas where guests can receive spa treatments. There are also yoga and meditation classes to help parents-to-be find their zen." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"A 359-room, family-oriented resort known for an 8,000-square-foot showpiece pool with cascading waterfalls, a swim-up bar and grill, two outdoor Jacuzzis, and a two-story waterslide that delights children, alongside concierge-arranged excursions such as catamaran sailing, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, and scuba. Spa treatments incorporate local ingredients like red mud, seaweed, and aloe, and nine on-site restaurants offer a variety of dining experiences—from seafood specialties like miso-glazed Chilean sea bass to a pier bar ideal for sunset cocktails." - AFAR Editors
"You won’t find a better pool than the one that awaits at this 357-room family-friendly resort situated on the powdery sands of Palm Beach. With cascading waterfalls, a swim-up bar and grill, two outdoor Jacuzzis, and a two-story waterslide, the 8,000-square-foot stunner is every kid’s dream. If more adult-centric diversions are on your wish list, the concierge can arrange catamaran-sailing excursions, deep-sea fishing trips, and snorkeling and scuba-diving expeditions off nearby shores, as well as spa treatments that utilize local ingredients like red mud, seaweed, and aloe vera. The resort’s 10 dining options provide plenty of atmosphere for winding down after a jam-packed day: sample seafood specialties like scallops a la plancha in a setting inspired by the island’s plantation ruins, or watch the sun set over the water, rum punch in hand, from your perfect perch at the pier bar."
Hyatt Offers Free COVID Testing at Mexico, Caribbean Hotels - AFAR
"Through May 31, 2021 this resort is offering complimentary on-site COVID-19 testing (PCR or rapid antigen) for up to two registered guests per room to help travelers meet the U.S. CDC's pretravel testing requirement of a negative test within 72 hours. Complimentary tests require a minimum length of stay that varies by property and additional on-property tests can be purchased. If a guest tests positive and must delay travel, participating properties generally allow extended stays of up to 14 additional nights at a travel-delay rate of up to 50% off the standard room rate and up to 30% off food and beverage (excluding alcohol). Complimentary testing is only available to guests traveling to the United States, and the company says it plans to expand testing availability across the Americas and globally." - Michelle Baran
What a wonderful resort experience! The rooms were wonderful. The view was wonderful. The beach experience was wonderful. The activities were wonderful. We would absolutely come back! Exceptional service- From moment of check-in with Rosario, to daily bingo and activities with Augie by the beach and pool, to adult pool hostess Fiore and exceptional club level staff (special shoutout Ligia). Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would 10 out of 10 recommend.

Hyatt Regency Aruba was one of my top 3 resorts. The property is well located along palm beach and the garden is well maintained with Koi fish ponds, a black swan, and 3 birds (including Macaw) named Chi Chi, BiBi and Rocky. My 5 and 6 years children visited these birds several times per day. Be sure to visit the hidden beautiful garden at the front of the property. There was a waterslide connected to 3 family pools for the family side and a separate huge pool for adults only. The desalinated tap water in Aruba was the best that I have ever tasted: clean, crisp, refreshing, and free. My favorite part of Aruba was the natural wind gusting at 20 mph. It felt like a natural fan was always with me. Most importantly, there were NO MOSQUITOES that bit me due to the natural wind. The weather was always comfortable and not humid/sticky like the other beach resorts in the area. At night time, we were able to walk down the strip to dinner. I look forward to returning to Aruba.

Just came back from a beautiful week in Aruba at the Hyatt Regency Resort. It was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. The people are genuine and so accommodating. The staff was attentive and felt more like family taking care of you while visiting. Big shout outs to Magdalena, Kenneth and Marlina for making our every wish come true and making us feel so welcome. The breakfast at the Palms was very delicious with a big selection of fresh delicious food and even Gluten free options. Shout out to Willie who took care of us every morning. You are all so appreciated. And the housekeeping was great. Floralyn made sure our room was perfect everyday. The only thing i would suggest is that maybe have bingo at the adult pool as well as the family pool because if you want to play bingo and you aren’t at the family pool there is no room for others to play. Also maybe some entertainment at night. Otherwise it was pretty perfect. Highly recommend as it also in the middle of everything. Restaraunts ,shopping and nightlife.

The resort was absolutely stunning. The staff was always super helpful and kind from the check in desk to the cleaning crew. A special shout out to the bartenders! Danny and Raul were absolutely amazing. The best cocktails on the island. The Danny special needs to be added to the cocktail menu immediately!! when I come back to Aruba I will be coming back here.

By far the best resort hotel we have stayed at in Aruba. From the minute we arrived it was first class service all around. The common areas, elevators and grounds are immaculate and well taken care of daily. The beach area is super organized, clean and the water and pool staff is very accommodating.
Our room was very well cleaned, stocked and left ready at very reasonable times. The open bar staff was the best super friendly and know their drinks. The restaurant was delicious and the wait staff was awesome. The casino was small and needs a little more variety but was plenty for us seeing we are not the gamblers.
We have decided to make The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino our official go to from now on. GREAT JOB! See you again soon.

We’ve been to Aruba many times, and the last several times Hyatt Regency was our hotel of choice. The grounds are beautiful; the food is tasty (although expensive) and all the great outside restaurants are pretty much across the street! We needed to switch rooms, and that was a smooth experience as well. I highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back.

This place will make you feel like a freaking movie star. The staff was excellent and the view was second to none. Tons to do on-site with the main street entertainment being right out the front door. The casino was also very giving.

We did not stay here overnight. We came for the day and to go on a sunset cruise which check in was on their beach. We used the casino and that was cold and refreshing. Went to grab an alcoholic drink and some waters in one of the outside restaurants...that was great. What wasn't great? The man outside helping with cabs and blowing his whistle for everything. I understand why they use it but Clearly there has to be a better way. Also, he was quite rude. Glad we didn't actually pay the price to stay here for our trip, since during the day was SO crowded at beach and the pool.
