9 Best Hotels in Aruba, From Adults-Only Resorts to Family-Friendly All-Inclusives

"The Hyatt Regency Aruba is home to one of the best pool areas on the island, with both a beachfront adults-only pool as well as a family pool, complete with a two-story water slide and swim-up bar—one of the few on the island. The hotel’s open-air lobby is complimented by the island’s signature, ever-present breeze and overlooks all 12 acres of the beachfront property. You’ll be hard-pressed to find better-manicured grounds, with bridges that traverse a freshwater lagoon stocked with koi, cascading waterfalls, and tropical birds. The hotel allows guests to reserve a palapa the day before, avoiding the pre-sunrise wake-up call that some neighboring resorts require. If relaxing by the water gets old, the Hyatt also offers a wide range of complimentary activities for guests, from aerial yoga to an aloe scrub-making experience. The rooms are clean and bright, most featuring pops of Caribbean-inspired decor and floor-to-ceiling windows." - Jacqueline Dole

"You won’t find a better pool than the one that awaits at this 357-room family-friendly resort situated on the powdery sands of Palm Beach. With cascading waterfalls, a swim-up bar and grill, two outdoor Jacuzzis, and a two-story waterslide, the 8,000-square-foot stunner is every kid’s dream. If more adult-centric diversions are on your wish list, the concierge can arrange catamaran-sailing excursions, deep-sea fishing trips, and snorkeling and scuba-diving expeditions off nearby shores, as well as spa treatments that utilize local ingredients like red mud, seaweed, and aloe vera. The resort’s 10 dining options provide plenty of atmosphere for winding down after a jam-packed day: sample seafood specialties like scallops a la plancha in a setting inspired by the island’s plantation ruins, or watch the sun set over the water, rum punch in hand, from your perfect perch at the pier bar."

Hyatt Offers Free COVID Testing at Mexico, Caribbean Hotels - AFAR

"Through May 31, 2021 this resort is offering complimentary on-site COVID-19 testing (PCR or rapid antigen) for up to two registered guests per room to help travelers meet the U.S. CDC's pretravel testing requirement of a negative test within 72 hours. Complimentary tests require a minimum length of stay that varies by property and additional on-property tests can be purchased. If a guest tests positive and must delay travel, participating properties generally allow extended stays of up to 14 additional nights at a travel-delay rate of up to 50% off the standard room rate and up to 30% off food and beverage (excluding alcohol). Complimentary testing is only available to guests traveling to the United States, and the company says it plans to expand testing availability across the Americas and globally." - Michelle Baran

Just returned from the most amazing stay at the Hyatt. We loved our stay and will definitely choose Hyatt on future visits to Aruba. We are Hyatt globalist and was able to get upgraded to a family suite for part of our stay. Unfortunately the suites were fully booked for half of the stay but we enjoyed it while we could and the staff made the transition to a different room so smooth and easy. The globalist also included free breakfast buffest which was fantastic and had something for everyone including freshly made omelettes/eggs, waffles, crepes. All the staff were amazing. We especially loved all the bartenders at the bar by the lobby where they had nightly entertainment/live music. The cocktail class, cooking demonstration, and aloe scrub making was so fun and highly recommend! The concierge desk staff were friendly and super helpful in booking excursions. The restaurants, town, shops are so close, we went out every night. MAmbbo beach bar is easy to walk to as well and fun in the evening. Can't wait to come back!

My husband George and I had another fabulous vacation at the Hyatt ! We stayed 10 days Sept.16 to Sept.25. We have been staying there since 1993 and will never stay at any other Hotel. We have made so many friends over the years and some new ones too. Shout outs to the crew...Front Lobby- Fany and Xiomara, Breakfast-Willy and Debbie, Beach- Arlene, and our new friend Philemon FBM. Thank you all for making our yearly vacation fantastic as always!! The Hyatt is beautiful and well kept and so is the beach. I must say I get the best sleep due to their wonderful mattress and bedding. I want it for my own house. We highly recommend the Hyatt. You won't be sorry. Many thanks go out to all the staff ! We already booked our return visit for next year and can't wait to return!! Just a note: We always book the rooms that have a sit out balcony because most rooms just have the stand out ones. Thats just our preference but all rooms are very nice.

What makes this place so special is the attention to detail, personalized service, and the “welcome home” feeling you get when returning. Over the years, we have become friends and kept in contact with amazing people. It’s always a pleasure to go back and meet again in person. Fany, Willy, Beatriz, Glena, Debbie, Margarita and many more always make sure we start the day the best possible way, with a hug. We just left and can’t wait to return back; in fact my wife is already asking to book our next trip to Aruba, and she only wants to stay at the Hyatt Regency. This year Enrique, the new restaurant manager made a point to check in with guests every day, and I could see how proud he was of the relationship his team has created over the years.

My member level gave me a nice upgrade to ocean view room. Housekeeping had room done every morning by the time we got back from breakfast. Many complimentary activities including cooking with the chef, mixology class, wine tasting event.

We had an excellent stay at Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa Aruba. The grounds, the room, the pools, beach, and casino were all comfortable, clean, and modern. The hotel is within an easy walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and a quick drive or taxi to the other popular beaches if you wanted to venture off property. We will definitely be returning.

We love Hyatt resorts everywhere we go. This one had outdated rooms and looked worn out. We started out in room 311. It was right above the outside bar and was so noisy that at 11:30 pm we had to go to the lobby and ask for a new room. We were moved to room 364 and it was nice and quiet. The next day we woke up to a soaked floor. The ac had overflowed. They took care of it asap. The staff was great. Very friendly. Food on the property was great. Just the hotel itself was a let down after staying at so many other Hyatt properties. Also, the pool chair situation is not good. We were at the pool to get chairs by 6:45am waiting for the 7am opening. The good chairs were always taken up and we were stuck in the back with no view. Beach chair prices were rediculous. We got spoiled by the Secrets resorts having great seating pool and beachside. Overall we always love Hyatt but probably wouldn’t stay at this property again

Where do I even begin? The location, resort, cleanliness, food, drinks, pools, people, rooms...were all PERFECT! Honestly, PERFECT! LOVED the open air concept, the pools, direct beach access, adult only pools and area, hours of operation for all restaurants and bars. By far this is the best resort in the area.

I write this review on my last night of a 7 day stay. The hotel is nice, a little dated and inconsistent on furnishings (more on that later), but overall the grounds are good, the restaurant, pools and bars are decent. The staff is good too. The three stars comes from the fact that our family suite is bombarded by noise, and not from the resort; it comes from across the street. The nightclub across the way cranks up the bass and because the family suites are on that side, you hear it once it cranks up till 1am. You also get to feel it since it’s mostly the bass line. It’s terrible. To Hyatt’s credit, we did complain after 4 nights and they switched us to the opposite side suite on the 8th floor (Even numbered side to odd) to put us a little farther away, but at 9:30pm now, I hear it thumping away and it makes it hard to sleep. It also was interesting switching suites, as the second one had inconsistent furnishings, one less lamp and a non functional outlet, a different sofa, etc. Also Please clean the windows, they are opaque! Kind of embarrassing if you opened the curtains. I wish they were more up front about the noise when you book, even though they can’t legally do anything about it. It really makes the family suite not worth it. I’m lucky my daughter can sleep through an earthquake; I can’t. I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you want a family suite.
