Hyatt Regency Baku

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Baku from October 12, 2025 to December 2, 2025. I had already stayed at this hotel in the past, and once again the quality of the services was excellent: room cleaning is impeccable, breakfast is great, and the staff are always helpful. The reception team is also very polite and welcoming. The laundry service is flawless as well.||However, there are a few downsides, the same ones I had noticed years ago: when you step out of the elevator and walk toward the rooms, there is a strong smell coming from the carpet. It would be helpful to install air fresheners or consider replacing the carpet.||The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it’s easy to reach either on foot—with a pleasant walk—or by inexpensive taxi. The gym is large and well equipped, and the spa offers all the services you would expect. The only inconvenience is that you have to go outside to reach the gym, spa, and pool. In winter this can be uncomfortable because it’s cold, so it’s best to bundle up when going from the rooms to these areas.||Overall, it’s a hotel with many strengths that could become even better by addressing a few comfort-related details in the common areas.

Narmina the Event Manager and Rashad the Banquet Manager at Hyatt Regency Baku delivered an absolutely exceptional experience during our recent one-week event. From the moment we arrived, the hotel maintained incredibly high standards, and the Hyatt Hall proved to be an amazing venue for our needs. We were blown away by the food, which was not only tasty but truly amazing in both quality and presentation. The AV and catering teams did a great job, working seamlessly together to ensure our program ran without a single hitch. I was particularly impressed by how the manager handled our last-minute requests, fulfilling them instantly with grace and efficiency. Their attention to detail made a complex week feel effortless and stress-free. We cannot recommend this team highly enough for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism.

The Hyatt Regency Baku is a lovely hotel with impeccable service. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My room, on the Club Level, was quite large and had everything needed, including a big, beautiful bathtub and bidet. The breakfast buffet is very good, and the outdoor pool is lovely, though it gets shady in the afternoon. I just wish it was closer to a beach. 😉

I made a count. This was my fourth visit to Hyatt Regency Baku in three years. I was truly grateful to the team’s tremendous dedication to seeking whatsoever ways possible to help perfect my stay, from the room assignment to amenities setup. Every aspect was thoroughly and thoughtfully curated as per my preferences. The front office team led by Irada and Ilkin created a welcoming and home-feeling atmosphere to make me feel at ease like returning “home”. I wholeheartedly appreciated their recognition of my continuing loyalty to Hyatt as well as this Azerbaijani property over the past years. Particularly, I would like to give a shoutout to two persons whose impressive effort was indispensable to the pleasance and seamlessness of my recent stay. Seymur is undoubtedly a hospitality professional filled with extreme passion and positivity in his work. He deeply concerned about the wellbeing of all guests through attentively listening to their feedback and quickly following up with the relevant departments to address the issues. He did an amazing job as a guest experience specialist simply because of his enthusiasm about bringing a perfect and heartwarming experience to his guests as if he were to welcome each and every one of them back “home”. Seymur would not just see things but observe with attentiveness to the details. He was well aware of what a good experience meant for guests coming to Baku from all over the world and very much appreciated the importance of good communications in creating a promising guest experience which would in turn lead to positive reviews, enhanced brand reputation and sustainable guest loyalty. Likewise, I was also impressed with the work of Davud at the Regency Club. He took great care of all Club guests and was attentive to their culinary and other needs. He also managed to operate the Regency Club perfectly, because of the continuing dedication and hard work. I am delighted to know that he recently ceased to be a contracted staff and became a permanent member of the team under the employment of Hyatt. I do think this is a righteous move of the hotel management as a mean of recognition those who made significant contribution to the perfection of guest experience, whenever and wherever. My unwavering support to Hyatt Regency Baku will be continuing, and I will have my fifth stay there in case of any future plans bringing me back to Baku again.

Overall, everything was wonderful, especially considering the price and the type of hotel. The only thing is that the location is not right in the city center, so you definitely need to use some kind of transportation to get around. In general, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is a bit dated and not very modern, but the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made a big difference. A huge thank you to everyone who helped us with our reservation — we had a few issues at first, but thankfully everything was resolved thanks to the team. Many thanks again!

Loved the location of this hotel, everything was so convenient! The staff were super professional and really made me feel welcome. Overall, I had a great stay. Only gave 4 stars because the room lighting was a bit too dim for me, but everything else was perfect.

I returned to Hyatt Baku this year with my family after a great stay last year, and once again it didn’t disappoint. The hotel itself is spacious, tastefully designed, and always spotlessly clean.||||A real highlight is the complimentary access to the World Class fitness club next door – it’s part of an international chain and the facilities are outstanding, easily the best I’ve seen attached to a hotel.||||The staff also make the stay memorable. Irada was fantastic at resolving queries quickly and with a smile, and Davud in the lounge went above and beyond. He was attentive, personal, and genuinely a pleasure to talk to – the kind of service that makes you want to come back.||||Overall, Hyatt Baku is a place where everything runs smoothly and you feel well looked after. I would happily recommend it and look forward to returning again.

I had high expectations for a five-star experience, but unfortunately, Hyatt Regency Baku fell short in several key areas. • Room Comfort: On our first night, the air conditioning was extremely poor. Despite multiple complaints, staff insisted it was working properly. My young daughter couldn’t sleep due to the heat, and we were only moved to another room after midnight — far too late for a family with children. • Air Quality: The room had a strong musty smell and poor ventilation, which made the stay uncomfortable. • Staff Behavior: We encountered discriminatory behavior from staff at the indoor swimming pool, which was deeply disappointing and made us feel unwelcome. Overall, the service and facilities did not reflect the standards of a five-star hotel.
