The staff outside were helpful and friendly, and the front desk was welcoming. But the room experience was a letdown. We were given the wrong room at check-in , dim lighting in the room, smelled like damp and urine, the room carpet is very dirty and the hallway was just as bad. When we called to report it, we were moved to the correct room, which was brighter and more comfortable, but still had a faint moldy smell and dirty stained carpet and there’s a cockroach.
What made it worse , no apology from the receptionist who arranged our booking and gave us the wrong room. Just a room swap and that was it.
The hotel is clearly old and not well maintained. If you have mold allergies, sinus problems, or are sensitive to smells, AVOID this hotel.
Food was just okay. Breakfast buffet and à la carte are priced almost the same, so we chose the buffet but very limited options for the price.
Even if you’re just staying one night before a flight, the room price isn’t worth it. There are better options nearby. Would not stay again.
