The Best Hotels in the World: 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards | Condé Nast Traveler

"I experienced this Hyatt as a well-executed blend of office and oasis, where traditional motifs like slotted wood awnings and bamboo dividers meet polished marble and floor-to-ceiling views. Digital conveniences—check-in and laundry—combine with a light-flooded atrium lounge and a slinky listening bar to make it an ideal remote-work–friendly five-star stay." - CNT Editors

As a longtime Globalist, we’ve stayed at many hotels, and this one truly stands out. My husband is currently in Beijing and has stayed here for 5 nights so far, with another 15 nights to go. Special thanks to Coco, Mia, and Luke for upgrading his room to a bigger room with an amazing view—such a thoughtful touch. During this trip, he had four separate reservations, and the team was incredibly helpful in consolidating them to minimize room changes. They also assisted with moving his luggage, which made everything seamless. The breakfast and club lounge are elegant and beautifully designed, and the food has been excellent throughout. Housekeeping has been prompt, efficient, and thorough every day. My husband also uses the gym daily, and it’s well equipped and maintained. This may be a Category 2 property, but in terms of service and facilities, it could easily compete with a Category 5 hotel in the U.S. He’s looking forward to the rest of his stay, and we will absolutely return the next time we visit Beijing.

5 stars - another excellent stay I returned to the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing for a two-night stay and was reminded why it’s a favourite of mine in Beijing. The team at check-in kindly upgraded me to a suite - a friendly, efficient welcome that set the tone for the work trip visit. The breakfast buffet was as tasty and plentiful as ever, and dinner at the on-site Japanese restaurant was outstanding: beautifully prepared dishes and attentive service throughout. I also appreciated the well-equipped fitness centre. When I flagged a slow-draining shower, the service team followed up quickly - a small detail, but handled with professionalism. A consistently comfortable, welcoming hotel. Looking forward to my next stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times while visiting Beijing, and I can confidently say it’s my favorite—especially because of its unbeatable location in Wangjing. The area offers a wonderful mix of dining options, with Chinese, Western, and Korean restaurants right at your doorstep. Wangjing is known as a Korean community hub and provides a peaceful retreat from Beijing’s hustle and bustle—perfect for unwinding after a busy workday. It’s also a growing CBD surrounded by tech, automotive, and pharmaceutical companies, yet it remains refreshingly free of major traffic jams. Over the weekend, I easily visited the Bird’s Nest and the 798 Art Zone, both conveniently located nearby. Staying here lets you explore new parts of Beijing and truly fall in love with the city. The hotel itself is ideal for relaxing and recharging, with a welcoming environment, helpful English-speaking staff, and a diverse international guest community. One important tip: Avoid using Google Maps as the location is often incorrect. Instead, use Baidu Maps, AMap, or Apple Maps for accurate navigation. Highly recommended for business travelers and tourists alike!

Room: 10/10I love my spacious room with SOHO as the view! The room was also clean and comfortable. Check-in: 7/10I got msg that the check in time is on 3 pm and I already there from 2:30 but still need to wait for almost 2 hours to get in. Service: 8/10Especially for the 800 deposit, the receptionist should explain it that it will be sent in 3 days, I kept on calling to make sure abt this but they can handle it very well and I got my deposit back in 3 days. This should be explained clearly when the guest checked out. The staff can speak English very well, this is important for foreign guest like me.I always stay in Hyatt no matter where I go, this Hyatt could be improved. Thanks!

I am a Hyatt Globalist member, and my recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Beijing was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with the brand. What a luxury hotel should have been, turned into an embarrassing display of poor service and a complete disregard for customer loyalty. Upon arrival, well after the standard check-in time at 4:20 PM, our room was still not ready. This is an unacceptable situation for any guest, but especially so for a top-tier loyalty member who is promised a seamless experience. When we were finally given a room, the promised upgrade was incredibly underwhelming. Despite my Globalist status, we were simply given a room with a "better view" and nothing more. There was no effort to provide a suite or a more meaningful upgrade, which is one of the key benefits of the program. The most shocking part of the experience, however, was the complete lack of service recovery. When we expressed our frustration with the situation, the response from the staff was completely baffling. Instead of apologizing or attempting to solve the problem, we were told that it was "okay to find another hotel." This is an absolutely appalling way to treat a guest, let alone a loyal Globalist. The hotel's staff made no attempt to rectify their operational failure and instead dismissed us, showing zero concern for our time, our loyalty, or our business. This experience stands in stark contrast to the service I expect from Hyatt. The lack of professionalism and the utter failure of service recovery at the Hyatt Regency Beijing is a significant issue. I regret having chosen this property and will be looking to book with other brands in the future.

Rude staff, the lady on the right desk- was rolling her eyes while I’m checking in and spend some time looking for my documents. What’s wrong with you??? As this is a 5-star hotel this should really be addressed, really bad performance.

One of the best hotels in the area. Rooms are spacious and clean. Speak mention to the concierge team who takes care of the parcles for me. One time the concierge also went out of the way to retrieve a package for me from the locker. Breakfast spread is extensive and the staff are very attentive.
