The staff were attentive and courteous, always willing to help with any requests. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of dishes, both Indian and continental, and the quality of the food was excellent. The swimming pool area is also lovely, providing a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of the city. The location is perfect—close to the city’s main attractions and easily accessible from the airport. Whether you’re in Chennai for business or leisure, I’d definitely recommend Hyatt Regency Chennai for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

An outstanding experience from start to finish at the Hyatt Regency Chennai! The hotel is in a prime location — central, convenient, and easy to get around. The property itself is spacious, clean, and very well maintained, with a strong sense of safety and comfort throughout. The rooms are large, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, making for a truly relaxing stay. The dining options are fantastic, with multiple restaurants offering a great variety of delicious cuisines. The bar area is a great highlight, with live performances and a vibrant yet classy atmosphere that adds to the overall experience. I also made use of the spa and gym facilities, both of which are top-notch. The spa services were excellent, and the gym is well-equipped and clean — perfect for staying on track while traveling. What truly sets this hotel apart is the team of people working here. Every single staff member I interacted with — from the general manager and front desk team, to the concierge, waitresses, housekeeping staff, security guards, chefs, and kitchen team — was courteous, professional, and genuinely warm. You can tell there is a real culture of hospitality here. Everyone made an effort to ensure guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for. Cheers to Hyatt Regency Chennai. I had a wonderful experience. We booked Diplomat suite for a 10 day holiday. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and offered a perfect blend of luxury and functionality. We love the breakfast spread, true combination of south indian, north, chinese and english breakfast. They are also rooting in healthy way like ragi idli, carrot chutney. Special mention to Dinesh Chef from South indian cuisine who took good care of us. Acutally all the floor staff from the breakfast team needs appreciation. The food in the lounge too was good. Can find decent chicken recipes from this place. Also wanted to call out the door man team (Jalal, Krishna, Vadivel and team) for the quick support for food deliveries and car parking. The hotel's location is also very convenient, making it easy to access key parts of the city. Overall, Hyatt Regency Chennai delivers a perfect combination of elegance, service, and comfort. I highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers visiting Chennai.

They helped us with our luggage the moment we stepped out of the car and ensured everything was smoothly transported to our room with great care and efficiency.||What impressed us most was their friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality. It wasn’t just a job for them — they truly seemed to care about making our stay pleasant.||On the day of our checkout, Daniel and Jayamurugan were once again prompt and helpful. The hotel itself was very presentable and clean. All the staff were very friendly from the first moment we stepped into the hotel, along my stay and until I checkked out. I personally want to praise a staff named Mr. Tapas, from the housekeeping team. He was very genuinely friendly and very efficient in doing his task. He greeted me from far and even went extra mild by providing me anything that I am about to ask. It shows that he is really dedicated to his work and working efficiently. I really appreciate his approached and hope he will be recognize by upper management. Overall, all the staff were friendly as well. The breakfast team were doing their task efficiently by noticing and recognizing the guest. This gesture is very rare and special. Keep up the good work, genuine friendliness and service. I am for sure will choose to stay at this hotel again and will recommend to others.

The best part I liked about this hotel was friendly staff, cleanliness, complimentary drinks and complimentary lounge access. I would like to specially thank chef Amir for always making sure we get what we wanted during breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have never seen such a hospitality from a chef in any other hotels. Moving on to lobby manager Aiswarya, she is such a nice person to talk to. I felt at home seeing her care for each and every guest over there. I have lived at this hotel for the better part of 2025 during my work in Chennai. I can categorically say this was a great experience. What makes this place special are in my opinion the kind ,professional and friendly people running it. The service is consistently first class. On every level you will get a superior experience. The restaurants have delicious food and room service brings this culinary experience to the comfort of your spacious domicile. The rooms are large and well equipped with a spectacular view over this bustling city. I especially like the magical experience in the mornings with beautiful live flute music filling the entire space. All in all I can absolutely recommend staying! You will have a great time, making magical memories here.

I stayed here for 2 nights recently. Rooms were perfect. But food, the less you talk the better. If you want to go for Ala-carte, you don't have many options on the menu. Can you imagine you just have 2 basic salads in the menu. I would say its not the menu of a 5-star hotel. Buffet spread is ok but taste below average. If you observe closely, fruits were also not freshly cut. Breakfast is little better though, and spread is good. If you are a food lover, I don't suggest the hotel.
