Hyatt Regency Chennai

The Hyatt Regency hotel at Chennai meets all star level requirements. Though maybe a little on the pricey side, all services are included with the pricing. Breakfast staff very amicable and welcoming. Definitely a good place to stay if you are looking for a modern upper star experience in Chennai.

We had been for a family staycation at this place. Believe me, they make you feel spl. A spl thanks to the team handling buffet breakfast, Mr. Biplal and Mr Tiwari have done a good job. The person at entrance of the hotel was so warm and kind. Thankyou. The cake nd the room decor is also appreciated. Keep up the good work.

I stayed at Hyatt Regency for a business trip and the rooms, the service everything was top notch. I had a comfortable stay and it was amazing! The morning buffet was also so good and there were a variety of options to choose from. The staff were also very cordial and helpful.

I stayed for a day in Hyatt Regency, Chennai. The room was fantastic with lot of space. Well maintained. Bathroom was squeaky clean. ( The bathtub needed some work to drain the water). I wanted to take steam bath, but it wasn’t working. The staff in the spa was negligent to inform me that. So I chose sauna. Room service could’ve been better because they took time to attend the call, that too in the morning which was pretty annoying. Breakfast was good. Overall I would give a 7 on 10.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency! The service was excellent, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from — we were truly spoilt for choice every morning. Special thanks to Anamika for assisting me with my Uber (as I did not have an India number) and for making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, including at breakfast. A big thank you to Aditi for going the extra mile in decorating our room for my husband’s birthday and patiently accommodating all my requests. Overall, the team made our trip truly memorable. I would happily rate this hotel 100/10 and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip!

The accommodation was excellent, with a prime location near the U.S. consulate. The interiors were beautifully designed, adding a unique and artistic touch to the overall experience. However, two aspects that was disappointing was 1) the absence of a smart TV. In today's age of AI and advanced technology, it's surprising that a 5-star hotel wouldn't provide this feature. It felt like a missed opportunity.2) limited privacy in bathroom as there are no locks for the doors!

The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of dishes, both Indian and continental, and the quality of the food was excellent. The swimming pool area is also lovely, providing a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of the city. The location is perfect—close to the city’s main attractions and easily accessible from the airport. Whether you’re in Chennai for business or leisure, I’d definitely recommend Hyatt Regency Chennai for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
