My boyfriend and I just ended our stay with the Hyatt for a total of 6 nights. The resort was absolutely beautiful, accommodating and extremely welcoming. We loved it so much we didn't want to leave; we were able to add an extra night with zero trouble whatsoever. The view from our room (requested oceanfront) was breathtaking, the size of the room was enormous for us both, but we treasured every moment of it all. We will definitely book with Hyatt in Clearwater in the future. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended this resort.

WOW! This place is magnificent!!. Had a quick family trip (6) to clearwater. The location is right across from the beach and withing walking distance to a lot of fabulous restaurants. The hotel is VERY clean and well kept. I reserved the 2 br residential suite. There was plenty of room for all of us. It had everything we needed. Full size fridge, stove, microwave, 2 full bathrooms! Then there is the view. The room was located on the 16th floor, it had direct access to a huge area where you can watch the sunset and there is also a hot tub!! A special shout out to Karen at the front desk, she gave me a lot of recommendations on where to eat and answered all my other questions. will definitely be back soon!! Mr Ali

We had an absolutely amazing 8-night stay at the Hyatt Clearwater Beach. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was incredibly spacious and ideal for a week-long family stay – complete with a well-equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms, which made all the difference in comfort and convenience. The staff truly made our trip unforgettable. Every team member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. A special thank you to Alexandria at the front reception, Marley at the coffee shop, and Anthony B – three familiar faces we saw often during our stay. They were always smiling, friendly, and sincerely curious about how our day was going and whether there was anything more they could do. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out. Our kids loved the flavored water available in the lobby – a small but fun touch they looked forward to every day. We also appreciated the convenient laundry facilities and the easy access to fresh beach towels, which made our beach days simple and stress-free. And it was centrally located-so easy to walk to shops restaurants! Overall, this was one of our best family vacations. Hyatt Clearwater Beach truly feels like a home away from home, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Spacious rooms good breakfast customer service top-notch. Snacks for the kids at the pool every day and crafts. Quick access to the beach, which is right across the street. Great ocean and beach views from the eighth floor pool. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Myself and four of my close friends had a mini girls trip with our teen daughters here for one night. We reserved two of the 2 bedroom suites with an ocean view. It was amazing! The rooms were spectacular. The privacy with the split floor plan with the bedrooms and the kitchen and living room in the middle was nice with so many of us. It had a balcony with two sliding glass entry ways- one from the master BR and one from the LR. The service was excellent. Check in was not until 3pm but they allowed us to park in the parking garage in the morning and go to the beach. They texted us and one of our rooms was ready 2.5 hrs early! That was super convenient, especially since the lightning alarm was going off at the beach at that time. We were able to grab our room key cards and bring our things to our room until our other room was ready an hr later. The pool was very refreshing and they had music playing. It was crowded but fun. We paid for breakfast in our room package and it was delicious. We created our own omelettes and our teen girls loved making yogurt with granola and fruit to go with their breakfast. They even have a Starbucks! Our stay here was extremely pleasant. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it if you want to feel pampered in an upscale accommodation.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency in Clearwater Beach was a great experience! The location of the hotel is smack dab in the middle of the all the action and is located directly in front of the beach. Guests of the hotel get a discounted umbrella rentals. The room we were given was spacious and it was lovely having a view of the beach upon waking up. The restaurant and cafe at the hotel were good, although we also tried nearby restaurants. This hotel is perfect for families as well. Would return!

We had a fantastic time here. This is our second time staying here and we were not disappointed. The staff are all very hospitable and made us feel we were the only ones in the hotel even though there were a few weddings and corporate events going on. We had a slight issue with our room upon arrival but Jourden and the entire staff worked very hard and resolved our issue quickly. Our room was perfect! The location is perfect; we didn’t need a car. The views are breathtaking! Highly recommend.

Google
My new favorite! My family and I just checked out yesterday and had the best visit. We stayed in the one bedroom suite with two bathrooms and a full kitchen with a great balcony. Totally spoiled now and it will be hard to go back to a basic room in other hotels. The staff were all AMAZING and we will certainly return soon.

Yelp
Overall I enjoyed spending a night here. We came to Clearwater Beach for a staycation. I thought this hotel was a solid choice. Even though this time all the extra amenities in the room weren't necessary, if we were here for a weekend with the kids, we would have really appreciated it. The rooms have microwaves and a decently big minifridge. There's also a workspace which came in handy when I took a couple meetings from there. We got the King Bed Partial Water View with a Private Walk-Out Balcony. (I think they all have walk out balconies, which is a nice touch). The room was really big, since there was a ton of space in front of the couch that was next to the bed. We didn't really need the space, but I rather have more space than less. The bathroom doesn't have a tub, only a shower, but the shower is huge. I really liked it. The water pressure was good and the water got hot quickly. This place is right in the middle of all the action. It's on the beach and close to the pier. We were able to walk to a ton of restaurants/bars. It also has room service and it's own restaurant. We didn't try it this time, but I know if we come back our son will want to try the room service. Parking is in the garage right next to it. There was a ton of parking, they dedicate the fourth floor to overnight guests. There's an elevator that connects the parking garage to the hotel, so it's easy to access. You can also valet.

Yelp
I loved Clearwater on the Gulf Coast and the Hyatt Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa was super convenience. Opened in 2010, this huge hotel has become a favorite for travelers seeking breathtaking beachfront views and a prime location. During my recent stay, I was thrilled to be upgraded to a Sky Suite. The suite has panoramic views of the powdery white sand beach and waters. I woke up to the sun glistening off the Gulf. Good stay. Many places to sit and have business meetings and discussions.

Yelp
Pretty views and clean room. Breakfast was amazing. Love that they had gluten free toast. David was our waiter and he was great.

Yelp
Definitely the most iconic hotel at Clearwater Beach. As a Globalist I was very pleased with the level of customer service this hotel offered. Every single staff member made our family feel welcomed. The hotel has direct beach access and provided us with complimentary chairs and umbrellas at the beach each day. They also had a selection of cabanas available both at the beach and the pool. The hotel offered daily free activities and snacks like ice cream. The breakfast each morning was complimentary due to my status and changed daily between a la carte items and a breakfast buffet. Our room was huge and we loved the extra space of having a 2 bedroom unit. It is bigger than most apartment units back home and came with a massive living room and full size kitchen. Having the bedrooms on opposite sides of the unit was fantastic too for extra privacy as our family (of 4) all stayed in the unit.

Yelp
A solid 4.5, based on location, amenities, and staff. I was here for a conference but stayed on an additional 3 days. This hotel has great service, and the employees were 5*, with the exception of bartenders in the pool area. The banquet staff were above reproach. The valet, housekeeping, and front desk all provided great service. A complaint would be that the hit water was slightly warm. I dealt with it and never complained, so I can't say they didn't try to correct it. Hyatt is in a great location, with ocean and causeway views and near shops and restaurants. I would recommend without a doubt.

Yelp
Beautiful oceanfront views, terrific service, you'll want for nothing! We were greeted with champagne and given a two-bedroom suite with spectacular patio views. The beach was pristine, the bar was great-with great bites! Was relaxing during the day and incredibly romantic at night, who doesn't love an ocean stroll under the stars? Attached parking garage was convenient, no problems finding the room or bringing in luggage.

Yelp
I stayed over the memorial day weekend, which was a mistake. This whole area was a madhouse. The Hyatt lets people use the garage for beach access, and that turned it into a trashy amusement park. It was difficult to get into the garage and beach goers were parked in the "for guests" spots as indicated by their beach things. Once the parking spot fight was over, you had to fight for elevators due to the onslaught of sandy, filthy people trying to use the elevators to get to the parking spots. The hotel is okay, a bit dated in some areas for the humongous price. It's a tiny swimming pool and filled to the brim with people of course. I will pick a hotel that doesn't invite the entire public to use the building, and something more private. When I left , I farted publicly.

Yelp
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a pleasant stay. Our room was clean, spacious and had all the necessary bells and whistles. I loved that it had a full sized refrigerator and small kitchenette which would've been perfect if we were staying longer. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shops. The beach is literally steps away which I loved. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They have a garage that you have to pay for right next door. At check in there's a small bulletin letting you know about the activities for the day. The best part of our stay was the balcony with views of the beach. Our room was on one of the top floors and the views were just relaxing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Yelp
I thought I booked a 1 bedroom suite with a living area facing the ocean(beach) instead I had actually booked a beautiful two bedroom suite. It would explain why my rate was so high. However, it was well worth it. Our view was amazing, the room is spacious and this would be a excellent place for extended stay and a family. It has a full kitchen, two bathrooms, livingroom. Patio, and a tub and a stand up shower in master.

Yelp
The Shor restaurant had some food items that appealed to us for dinner tonight. Wait for a table was 40 minutes and carry out is about an hour too. Not bad dining options and decent interior. Order food from the Shor at the market, across the hallway. Two beet and kale salad and a lobster club on GF bread for $68.48. 2 Bubly and 3 small bags of flamin hot Cheetos for $14.98.

Yelp
My family traveled to Orlando for a Disney resort vacation but we wanted a day at the beach so we booked one night at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater. The weather wasn't cooperating (torrential rain and tornado warnings) for us to take advantage of a full beach day before checking into the hotel. After arriving at the hotel before noon I was prepared to wait in the lobby until check in time but pleasantly surprised to discover they would let us check in early. We headed to our room and again we're pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean the room was. We booked a room with an ocean view balcony. Once the storms were over we headed to check out the pools, hot tub and beach. The 8th floor pool deck was large and beautiful. The pool bar was conveniently located and with lounge chair service, it was a very relaxing one night stay. Usually we do not use other amenities in the hotel but because of the rain, we needed to stay occupied and do laundry as we were soaked from the rain. (Roads flood quickly!) After drying off and using the laundry room on our floor, we headed to find the kids game room and played several games on a lawn size chessboard. The restaurant, market and towel service were extra convenience that made our stay great. At the end of our vacation everyone said they preferred the one night at the Hyatt over the multiple nights in a Disney resort. We will be coming back for a longer stay at a fraction of the cost of a Disney resort.
google avatar

Deborah G.

Yelp
This was not worth the price for an overnight stay. The pool deck was dirty and lots of kids running around even in the winter. The hallway stank of marijauna. And the hot tub is not on the pool deck but small and on the roof deck. So many choices but won't be staying there again. Also the cable TV or internet kept cutting in and out!

Yelp
Excellent Resort to stay and probably the best of the best. I had a wish to visit Clear Water Florida and I was able to get a small get away for a few days, I would say, even if is for just one day, it is a must see. Beaches! Oh, absolutely great, trust me I know beaches. The views from the balcony room was just as I had dreamed of. I wanted my brother to come along. He could not take time off, so I took my son..lol. of course, he loved it as well. Everyone in this Resort was very friendly and attentive, excellent, excellent people. People who work here seemed so nice, and people all around Clear Water Beach were really nice and genuine. It felt like a few days in Paradise. I paid a bit extra to get the Sea front Water view and it was absolutely worthy. The view of the pool and sea 24/7 with the fresh air was heavenly like. This was one of the best winter break spot ever. To do it alone or with family. The stay came with 1 hour free bike ride, which was fun to do. The hotel room was excellent, like a small studio apartment with a kitchen. The bathroom is huge, it has a Bathtub and a shower. I also loved the air in the Lobby whatever essence was used in it, has an excellent soothing fragrance touch in the Lobby area. We were greeted with free Champagne, and by very nice sweet Agents at the check in.

Yelp
Pool days at the Hyatt Regency are never disappointing! Go Hyatt !! DJ, great music, cccktails

Yelp
I was excited to stay - great location with beach access across the street, but the quality of management or amenities of 4.5 star hotel was not up to standard. The 8th floor smells gross and likely the carpet from moisture coming from people leaving the pool. 16th floor deck where hot tub is located is often booked for private parties without notice; 8th floor cantina bar is 2nd option but it closes unreasonably early for resort. Great sunsets though.

Yelp
If you are thinking about booking the Wyndham or Hyatt then go with the Wyndham!!! The Wyndham is CLEANER. The pool at Hyatt is COLD. The hallways are warm and musky at this Hyatt. Stains on the carpet...YUCK! The location is the only reason why this place is getting 3 stars from me. Oh and the view I got from the room. If you are a neat and clean freak like I am, then this is NOT the place for you!

Adik Y.

Yelp
Terrible service, very dirty hotel, elevators do not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel, parking lot is poorly lit, no markings, public parking lot, anyone can park, many are just disturbing the peace, making noise and playing loud music, pestering hotel guests. The front desk is equipped with only one mobile computer, hotel employees are not always present at their workplaces. Hotel employees are not American citizens. At the end of our stay, we were charged some kind of resort fee, on top of which were imposed state, county and city taxes (although we paid for all taxes in advance). It is a pity that this gathering of swindlers and cheaters uses the worthy name "Hayat"

Jerzy S.

Yelp
Great stay. Staff was very polite and responsive. The only question or complaint I have is the pool location. Why would a pool by located between three high rise buildings where it gets no sun? It was always shady and cold. Such a shame.
google avatar

Yelp
Views from room 1501 are impeccable... Surely you can't beat that.. This was a 2 bedroom suite with an ocean view and it was so spacious and homey! There are views from every part of this room. There is a full kitchen, fridge, a master suite/bath and another bedroom/bath. It also has a great balcony to take pictures on. 4 chairs so a family of 4 can sit on the balcony and watch the sunset :) The pool area was really nice and the restaurant/bar has some good food. They have a decent restaurant as well, they're better for dinner specifically if you're into seafood. The reason for removing a star is when the housekeepers come every morning, *sometimes* they don't do the best job. They had to be brought up to re-clean the master bathroom. It looked like someone had used it while we were out... if you pay thousands for a 2bd suite with an ocean view, this should NEVER happen. Another weird quirk is sometimes the workers tell you to wear a mask indoors, sometimes they don't. Most people in this hotel and Clearwater in general are not wearing mask inside or outside. Basically once people pass the front desk area in the lobby, they remove their masks. And who cares? The mask mandate has been lifted in FL so Hyatt needs to get over it and get a grip. You can do whatever you want in regards to mask for most of the hotel, but there's always that one person that's ready to yell at you. At a minum they should realize a vast majority of people in Clearwater aren't wearing one so they shouldn't be so agressive when reminding you to put a mask on inside. It's one thing to kindly remind someone, another to yell at them and hound people. Like chill out, lol. Overall, I would return. 4/5 stars for this resort.

Yelp
So my daugther decided to get married in the terrace here. So we all reserved some rooms to accommodate our family. I have to say there is no words that describe how impressed with everyone and with the venue I was. I choose balcony with parcial view still stoning beach viewing. I just loved how comfortable the bed was. I truly wish my stay would never end. The sunset are magical. I hope you enjoy my photos!. Planing to came back really soon. I like to Thank all the staff for the amazing care.

Yelp
I've only come here to park but the prices are always the best and the staff is always super friendly. MY GO TO PLACE for parking at Clearwater beach.

Mister F.

Yelp
Terrible valet staff (Joe) and his supportive team lead (Lindsey). This was by far the the worse experience I had with any hotel staff anywhere and completely not expected from a Hyatt charging over $500 a night with additional parking and resort fees. You'd expect them to at least vet their staff and not hire those "kitchen only" type people who shouldn't be in front of customers. Staff here are in need of training. After a fire alarm sounded on Christmas day, I evacuated my family from the Hyatt and left in my car. Upon returning after the emergency was over, I briefly parked my vehicle on the front side of the hotel (away from the entrance so not to block any cars). Other cars continued to arrive for check-in. Immediately,  a valet staff member of the hotel who called himself "Joe" started making hand gestures shooing me away disrespectfully. I called him over to ask him what was going on. He starts yelling, "Move, Move" trying to get me to leave.  I told him that he needs to watch his tone and learn how to speak to people. He then says, "It's all about YOU today" and walks off. I go inside and report the behavior to the front desk. The girl apologizes and has me wait for her manager. After finishing with her client the manager hears what happens and responds by saying "we'll look into it, what else can we do". I asked them to ask "Joe" who all the while was still walking across the lobby saying "all about YOU today" . All of a sudden a girl by the name of Lindsey who claimed to be part of the "leadership team" jumps in front of me and says, "I will not let you address our STAFF!". The unusual way she intervened and was defensive of Joe's behavior was the way one defends a lover. At that point, I knew it was pointless as Joe and Lindsey both lacked proper training. Very rare to experience this type of staff at a Hyatt Regency.

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights middle of the week, post spring break rush. Couldn't ask any more from this hotel from the beautiful room, great amenities, and wonderful customer service they provided us. My only issue is once you walk out the back door to the beach it gets crazy with the crowd. It's a very busy area. Didn't care for the beach cabana set up. I like more low key quieter setting. The pool was nice but had families with a lot of kids. Would actually give this hotel 4.5 stars.

Travel I.

Yelp
Me and my family stayed at the Hyatt Clearwater beach and we upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with the beach view The Biggest suite in the hotel room1226 and we were going to stay until the weekend but decided to cut our trip short because of how disappointed we were in the room and overall hotel temperature, cleanliness and decor of the hotel, the hallways smelled like mold and pee and the air conditioning was broken in our room and the hallways/elevators. Everything in the rooms were completely dated and dirty and the pool was crowded, the kids play center was a joke their was no arcade games and only had about 4 activities kids can play with, the hotel lobby also smelt like old nasty tuna that has been sitting in the sun, I wouldn't call this a top tier hotel, it isn't worth the $600 + a night, for anyone reading my review I hope I saved you and your family from a horrible experience, I would recommend staying at the holiday inn on Clearwater Beach or the Hilton

Joshua L.

Yelp
Juan in guest services helped our family with two pack and plays and displayed incredible customer service and willingness to help! We are very grateful for him. The Hyatt is lucky to have him on the team!

Yelp
Not the standard I would expect from Hyatt or a 5-600 a night room . Opened the door to the room and first thing I see is a pill on the arm of the couch . I looked it up and it's a major anti depressant . If my children or any other had taken it , there could have been serous ramifications . Huge liability and lawsuit potential . Additionally found trash in room , stained carpet and the "oceanfront "view was more like a pool view with an ocean background . I took the anti depressant pill down and turned it in on my checkout and informed the clerk . You would think a manager would have got involved . Nothing but an apology . No discount , no comp , no customer service . Very Disappointed in this place . The positive was it was a great location and the pool was decent .

Yelp
I'm sad to say but I probably would not stay here again. We booked a premium "ocean front" room and got a view of the parking lot and peekaboo view of the ocean. It was so disappointing because we paid extra for the upgrade and view. I was super excited for this trip since I was celebrating my 40th with my family. The interior doesn't even feel like a full service hotel. Seems more like a timeshare with limited amenities. Our room did have a small kitchen which was part of the reason we picked this hotel to begin with, but the room was small and didn't seem spacious as we anticipated. It was truly disappointing walking in. From all the hype and marketing from the website noting it was the "crown jewel" hotel?" but seemed far fetched from what we experienced walking into this hotel. On the plus side, the service was good and everyone was helpful and nice. Shor restaurant had good breakfast and mediocre food for dinner. No plans to coming back here next year. Regarding the beach was amazing and we had a ton of fun despite comparing our hotel to others and making jokes. We'll be back but at the Opal or Wyndham next door!

Yelp
While we did not spend the night here, we purchased a day resort pass. The heated pool is on a high floor overlooking the beach. We happened to be visiting on a rather chilly day but enjoyed the gorgeous view. There is bar service, with an extensive food menu brought right to your pool chair. We enjoyed playing all the outdoor games. The hot tub is actually several floors higher. It was much to hot for a dip. Just putting your foot in for 10 seconds produced hot pink skin. We walked the short walk to the crowded beach and enjoyed hunting for shells. We loved the resort pass and would definitely do this again.

Yelp
A group of 4 of us traveled to Clearwater for a friend 45th Birthday weekend and stayed here. Let's just start by saying the hotel and the staff are great. They are attentive, helpful and willing to assist where needed and very true to doing whatever they can to rectify any issues. The hotel entry isn't amazing, it's just a door on the side of a street that you wouldn't know that it was the entry to such a Grande hotel / resort. Our room was amazing, we were on the 16th floor which is the floor for access to the jacuzzi. Our suite overlooked the pool and had an amazing view of Clearwater Beach. We had a full kitchen and lovely living space for our celebration pleasure. The beds were comfy and having two bathrooms made it very comfortable for 4 women in one suite. The things that we encountered that were not pleasing were: - The housekeeping - The heating and air Let's start with housekeeping.. It doesn't help when the cleaning staff doesn't speak any English in a touristy area in Florida. The cleaning staff seemed nice as could be always with smiles coming to clean. HOWEVER they were not thorough in cleaning. They would miss trash cans leaving them full with garbage, not providing the amount of towels they took a way when taking towels, not wiping counters or vacuuming the floor even after seeing noticeable trash that need to be cleaned. When communicating (or trying to) they just smile and we have had to call down (4days straight) to communicate and they it's communicated to them and the items get resolved. That isn't a proper process or a great use of our time while on vacation. The temperature in the room: Everyone one of us had stuffy noses leaving due to the heating and air unit in the room tuning to HELL HOT with dry air then switching to freezing cold so once you sweat and are soaked from sweat the temp switches to freezing cold while your wet. We called maintenance and they said the regulated temp is 68-70 which we set the two thermostats to in the suite and that didn't help it was consistently HOT then COLD the HOT then COLD. I'm not sure if it's an isolated issue for suite 1636 but it's an issue to say the least.

Yelp
Parking is horrendous. Me and my boyfriend saw the sign here to park for the beach. The sign said $7 an hour $40 max rate 3 hour minimum. Him and I are honestly broke college students so we were like ok we will stay for an hour. Apparently it charges you $21 dollars even if you stay an hour. The sign is confusing but I guess that's just how they make their profit. We call because we believed we were being wrongfully charged. The man we spoke to just had an attitude the whole time and spoke to us as if we were stupid. He read me the sign word for word over the phone but I took a picture and it was completely wrong what he said. Not upset about the charge just upset about the service.

Yelp
We had the best time at the Hyatt Clearwater Beach! Before even coming to the property, I already received a text if we needed anything pre-arrival. I requested for my room type on a higher floor away from the elevator, more pillows and a pack and play. All my requests were granted and waiting for us when we arrived! We stayed in a King Deluxe Ocean View and it was perfect for the 3 of us! We always need a kitchenette when we travel and the balcony with an Ocean View was absolutely lovely! As if I wasn't impressed already, housekeeping came everyday to refresh our room. We ordered room service every morning for our omelettes and it was good. Even the cold brew I had every morning from the market was good and the lady preparing it is so pleasant! Front desk were nice and helpful as well and it's always great to see diversity in staff. I had a massage in the spa, and it was amazing too. The only mistake we made was staying 4 nights only and leaving for a different destination. If we had a do over, we would spend our whole week in this hotel! It is beach front with an oh-so-beautiful beach! I celebrated a milestone birthday here and it was fabulous! We will be back!

Yelp
My son and now daughter in law had their wedding at the Clearwater Beach Hyatt in October 2022. It was a fantastic experience! The beautiful terrace top ceremoney, the happy hour on the Veranda and the best reception in the Belair room. The rooms were perfect as were all the staff. Loved the pool and the food was all really good too! Couldn't have picked a better venue for the wedding!

Yelp
Dont stay here. This place is a horror stay and it truly gives the Hyatt Chain a bad reputation. Lets start with the internet. There is free then there is the one you pay for which is $5 a night. Look at what you get for $5 a night of the Upgraded internet in the attachment. Mind you, businesses need to be very wary due to COVID, the front desk giving us massive amounts of paper promotions. There is something about the walls insulation where the AC is Bipolar. Its never just right its always extreme heat or extreme cold.

Yelp
100% satisfy. 100% beautiful beach, sunset, sunrise scenery. 100% recommend. 100% re-visit. I stayed at Hyatt Clearwater about 3 to 4 times so far and never had a bad experience or encountered any problem. The hotel is extremely clean and so ever beautifully decorated throughout each floor. I love the color patterns, wall decors, and especially the water tank with orange/lime slices available to replenish our sense of thirst. The staffs are amazing and friendly, always offering guidance around the area. Hyatt offer valet parking and regular parking at the garage for $25 per day/night. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop downstairs. And room service is available throughout the day. For each visit, I always reserved a room (either a King or Queen sized bed) with an awesome ocean view. The bedding is nice and comfy. The room is filled with daily needs necessities and complementary water bottle in the fridge. My favorite aspects of Hyatt is the pool + bar service, the gym, the massage parlor, and the fact that the beach is just a few steps away from the hotel. Personally, I think the pool itself it a tad small. If only they have a bigger one or another pool built, that would be great. The foods from the bar is pretty good...well, anything taste good to me when you are a bit tipsy and too busy having fun. In addition, there is a bathtub available on the 8th floor but I try to stay away from it due to personal phobia and hygienic purposes. Moreover, the view from the hotel, specially from the 15 or 16 floor. Seeing the beautiful sunset and sunrise is very soothing and relaxing. Mother nature and her beauty is absolutely breathtaking! If only I can afford to stay here year round haha. I think the only thing that I would recommend is having Jet Ski rental available. That would be awesome if so. Overall, there are only good memories here except during check out times. Would most definitely come back for my next visit.

Yelp
Wonderful check-in with champagne, friendly staff, excellent room, great pool/jacuzzi, good gym, and prime location! We were a little bummed that housekeeping did not come to clean 1 out of our 6 night stay. Also, this hotel seemed to cater more to families than couples. Wyndham Grand next door seemed like a newer and better hotel for couples.

Yelp
By far THE BEST place to stay in all of Clearwater!!!!! This Hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Very clean and well kept. The Pool on the Upper level is an excellent location to catch some Sun and The Evening Sunsets. Shor American was a great breakfast choice for us a couple mornings. The rooms are amazing. We had a 2 Bedroom Suite with a full Balcony and the Huge window in the Main Bedroom was a picturesque view of the Gulf. There is a Full kitchen (We did order groceries thru Instacart) and had several meals in our room. Right next door is the Surf Style Store that also has everything you need for a day at the beach. They had a very nice selection of prepackaged lunchmeat, cheeses, chips, dips and drinks to take to the beach for snacks. There are also free washer and dryer machines on every floor. The Hotel sits across from the beach just steps away. And Lastly but most importantly....The Staff @The Hyatt Clearwater are The Most Amazing group of people. From Caesar helping with your luggage to Jamaia at check-in with a glass of champagne to the Operations manager Brian Graf. He is by far the Nicest Young Man you can ever meet. Clearwater Beach is a beautiful place to vacation and staying at the beautiful Pink Hyatt Regency was the perfect choice.

Yelp
Really outstanding place. We had a two bedroom suite on the water patient in the ocean. It was around 1500 ft.² which gave all of us plenty of Elbo room. It had a nice size kitchen, nice size living room, two nice size bedrooms, two bath, and a really nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Customer service here is always very pleasant and happy. Beware, if you need housekeeping, you have to call and ask for it. They don't show up on their own. Which for me, it's convenient because I hate being woke up at 8 o'clock in the morning with someone hollering, housekeeping. The place is very clean neat and organized and we definitely look forward to going back.

Yelp
Just returned from my third stay at this resort this year. I come to the Tampa area for work and Clearwater Beach for pleasure. This experience involved more than a dozen people in multiple rooms/suites. As always every person I encountered was friendly. I can't say that every experience is perfect (this one was) but every experience has been handled with class and respect. Their customer service will keep me coming back!

Yelp
Front desk staff is great, room is fine. Restaurants and in-room dining is mediocre - stay in room and eat at McDonald's.

Yelp
Another great hotel right on the beach in Clearwater Florida. Can't get any closer to the beach than this. Rooms were spacious, beds were great and showers were top notch. Location of the hotel is super. You are on the beach as soon as you step out in the back. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Service was exceptional too. Will be coming back to this hotel again when In Clearwater.

Yelp
DO NOT PARK HERE! The parking garage sign says $7hr and with a quick glance and a turn you will be paying $21. I parked for 15 minutes and when I went to leave I was charged $21 which I thought was a mistake. I asked the parking attendant about the $21and she was rude and said something about the bottom of the sign saying $21.....very misleading. Hilton just got a loyal customer for life. I will never stay at a Hyatt after dealing with this nasty parking attendant and misleading shady sign.

Yelp
I can't say how much we love this hotel. We stayed at Tampa for 2 nights and the last 2 nights we chose Clearwater. We arrived around 2pm, the valet attendant was very informative and friendly, told us where to park, the price per night and how to find way to lobby to check in ( I didn't get his name though). Once we approached the Front Desk, Ms. Nathalie was greeting us, told us all information and informed a nice upgrade for our Baby moon trip. The room was ready to check in at 2pm even though check in time is 4pm. We really appreciated for those 2 extra hours. Welcome drink (champagne) was offered but we declined. She also asked if we need any housekeeping service (none, light service or daily make up room). We didn't know what to expect, but once we entered the room, our jaw dropped because how nice of the view and how big the room was. That was the best upgrade ever since we joined Hyatt membership 3 years ago. The suites has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen & a big balcony. The view was unbeatable, beautiful and it is breathtaking to watch sunset every day from your own balcony. We were located on the 9th floor, just 1 floor above the pool and the Tropico Cantina. It was fun to see people around (not noisy at all) and see seagulls, pelicans, pigeons flying around. We are really thankful for the nice gesture from the hotel, make this trip so special & memorable because it will be quite a while until we can travel again with our baby. Thank you again and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone if they visit Clearwater. The location, the staff, the service are top notch. Just steps to the beach and restaurants. We really hope to come back in the not too distant future, one of my favorite hotel in Florida!

Yelp
Great place, staff is amazing. Good service with everyone we interacted with. Dinner at the hotel was amazing too. Wow. Super impressed and Rob, our waiter, was so good and nice. Kyle at the bar, super nice and he recommended we eat at the hotel because the food is that great. Awesome!

Yelp
Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort And Spa on Gulfview Boulevard in Clearwater is a great place to stay on the beach that is in the middle of everything. I really like the location and everything that they have to offer here. The staff here is very helpful and makes sure that you have everything that you need for the best stay.

Yelp
Just got back today from our trip to clearwater beach FL. We stayed at the Hyatt regency for three nights after careful consideration. Booking was easy process and all was well. Upon arriving we were greeted with a warm welcome.. although i missed the champagne part. I saw where everyone else was welcomed with a glass of champagne... i guess we did not fit the rest of their guests image. Anyway, we were on the 10th floor... room was nice and updated. We had a wonderful view of the bay and pool. Everything was clean and as expected. Didn't have much interaction with front desk enough to comment but all was well. I'm awaiting my 150$ deposit to be refunded but other than that our stay here was dreamy... you get what you pay for and it was worth it all. Beautiful time, i miss it already a bit. The pool is absolutely the best part about this hotel. I'll include some pictures. Oh they also have a laundry room on each floor which was super helpful!

Yelp
We booked a cabana for a day from resortpass.com. If you are planning on staying the entire day than the price is worth it. The cabana is basically a mini suite with no bed and shower. On the inside there is a couch, tv, fridge and half bath and on the outside a table that sits 4 and 2 lounge chairs facing the pool. It was nice to have a waitress to take food and drink orders. We spent the day going down the elevator to the beach and back into the pool with snacks and drinks in between. The staff were friendly and timely, I have no complaints about our stay. Parking is 29 for valet and 25 for set park so take advantage and valet.

Yelp
We were looking for a Hyatt resort on the beach and stumbled upon the Hyatt Clearwater Beach resort. We had never been to the Clearwater beach area and this hotel looked like a great option. Overall I would say the first mistake we made was checking in online. Normally this would be a good way to go but not checking in a person left out a lot of details for us. For instance, we didn't know where to get pool towels or beach towels and that a card is required, we didn't know about the restaurant facilities at the resort, we really didn't know the housekeeping procedures and quite a few other things. By the second time we called the front desk we decided we just needed to go down there and pretend we hadn't checked in at all. Overall, the staff at the resort was very friendly and very accommodating. They upgraded our room to a one bedroom queen suite. I have to say the room was a great size and having two bathrooms for four people really made a difference when we were all getting ready at the same time. The kitchen had all the basics and housekeeping was great to refill paper towels and anything else we needed. The living room area was very spacious and the three chairs at the counter really gave us a lot of room to spread out. We spent quite a bit of time on the pool deck. As with any resort it was very busy at certain points of the day but I have to say overall it was an awful trying to find chairs together. The restaurant and bar around the pool deck was great. Again the staff is very friendly and helpful letting you know the specials of the day. We ordered several meals including fish tacos, chicken tenders, grilled oysters, guacamole and chips just a name a few. Everything was delicious and the food was always served hot. They even give you these little clips to put on your chair if you are sitting by the pool they could identify you and bring you your food. Each floor has one washer and dryer available for guest use for free. We did not do any laundry while we were there but we certainly saw that they kept very busy. That was really a nice touch especially for families with lots of wet beach and pool items. On the second floor there is a market as you make your way to the towards the beach. They serve Starbucks coffee as well as lots of breakfast and lunch items. The market area there was pretty much anything you could think of from beer, wine, sodas and snacks - of course everything is pricey but you pay for convenience. We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt in Clearwater Beach. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again in the future

Yelp
Came to Clearwater to do some shopping and had to park in the garage. Sign states. $7/hr but when we scanned our ticket it said $21. I thought there was an error so I went to the desk to see if someone could help me and the parking garage/ valet attendant was rude. I told him we had been there less than 40 minutes. He said at very bottom of sign it says 3 hr min. He then proceeded to tell me I need to learn how to read. I called my husband and was standing at the elevator and he continued to mouth. I turned around and told him to just shut up and then he laughed and said have fun paying your $21 bucks. Would never stay here and I will never give them my business again.
