Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa

Our second time back in 2 years! We visited last Christmas as a family of six (with 3 kids age 6-12 and Grandma) and had a great experience, but we love to travel to new places and honestly would not have considered a re-visit if not for front desk manager Hoa Tran. Before we left, she offered to keep in touch and give us a great deal if we wanted to do it again...so we rebooked not long after! She helped us reserve the same residence penthouse as the year before, so that when the kids got in, it felt comfortable and familiar -- they were reminiscing about the last trip and running to claim the same rooms!||We received the same great service from the club lounge staff, with lots of familiar faces including food & beverage manager Tam. Since it was Christmas again, we booked the Christmas buffet feast not expecting much, but we were blown away at the impressive selection of foods, the festive atmosphere, and the live entertainment. It was so worth it and really made the holiday spirit! I will say that what the whole family enjoyed the most was the breakfast buffet. We looked forward to the good foods and Vietnamese coffee every morning. We also enjoyed ordering snacks and drinks poolside.||On our trip, other than hanging out by the pool and beach, we also enjoyed visiting the spa and arcade -- adults at the spa and dropping off the kids at the arcade of course! The spa pricing is very reasonable, with 20% discount for Hyatt members, while the arcade is totally free.||Finally, we again decided to split time between Hyatt and Marriot next door, and Hoa graciously coordinated with Marriot to arrange our transfer so that we could arrive there once our villa was ready for us with no downtime, which was much appreciated. This was another great experience, and the kids now fully associate Christmas with Danang. I highly recommend this wonderful resort with world-class service!

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Hyatt Regency Danang, and overall, the service and hospitality were of a very high standard. The team was attentive, professional, and consistently warm, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Mr Duy, the Trainee Breakfast Buffet Server, whose hard work, politeness, and positive attitude truly stood out. Despite being in training, he was attentive, proactive, and always served with a genuine smile, making our breakfast experience especially enjoyable. We would also like to share some constructive feedback for consideration. The quality of the beds, which were not as comfortable as expected, and the in-room television, which appeared to be from an older generation, are areas that could benefit from review and revision to further enhance the guest experience. Other than these points, the hotel’s service standards were impeccable, and the overall experience was highly enjoyable. We would certainly consider returning again and again should the opportunity present itself.

Hyatt regency DaNang was beyond compare. It was an amazing beachfront property with beautiful spacious grounds, including multiple pools, a waterslide, a kids club. So family friendly -included a playground, climbing wall, gaming area, soccer field and kids pool! ||||The rooms and beds were huge with great ocean views. The staff were so exceptionally kind and gracious. Look for Hoa the front desk manager as an example.|||| Don’t hesitate to book a stay at this property! Be sure to book club access if you’re bringing kids - takes care of breakfast (anwesome buffet with fresh mango/pho/coffee bar) and dinner daily - a gem of a space and property!

Stayed at Hyatt Regency Da Nang for 5 nights. Got upgraded to a villa as it was a birthday celebration. |Facilities are fantastic and modern. |Restaurants and room service food were very good. |Le Petit Chef was another highlight. |Last but not least are the hotel staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Kayron Le who helped organised our restaurant bookings, day trips to Hoi An and Ba Na Hills; and also to Tuam Pham one of the porters who always greeted us with a big smile when picking us up in the hotel buggy and making sure our villa was freshened up and cleaned when we return returned from our day trips. |Thank you and we will be back one day!

Service was top-notch. Everything was very smooth. Only issue is that the resort is quite a distance from everything else in Da Nang. But, this is easily overcome considering how cheap Grab rides are. The room was huge and very comfortable. with more than enough space for a family of 4 or 5. The view is fantastic. Waking up to the sun rising over the ocean is a core memory for sure. Lots for kids to do with the kids club and arcade. Breakfast was amazing! The gym was decent but a bit small but the whole fitness area with plunge pool was lovely. Easy to book a buggy ride if you are too lazy to walk. Spa was reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard! Overall, a fantastic stay and will definitely do it again!

First time to Da Nang and we stayed in this resort. Chose one of the villas which was suitable for multigenerational families. However one of the rooms is isolated outside of the main villa building - suitable for grandparents but not ideal as it’s not attached to the man building making it slightly inconvenient. The rooms and toilets were spacious with a generous living area. Breakfast spread in the mornings were extensive. The beachfront was good for kids as the sand was suitable for playing. The waves were on the stronger side so swimming was not advisable. Well stocked kids club for the younger kids and another section for the older kids though some of the arcade games were faulty when we were there. There is a little farm experience which was nice for the kids to enjoy and a good effort by the hotel to create something different. No complaints on service.

Hyatt Regency Da Nang – Beautiful Setting, Service Needs Improvement We stayed at Hyatt Regency Da Nang as a family and had a mixed experience. What we liked The beach is genuinely beautiful and very clean, and the seaside setting is the highlight of this property. The location is convenient, and we appreciated that the hotel allows food and grocery deliveries from delivery partners, which was especially helpful when traveling with children. Areas for improvement Service consistency is a key issue. Kids’ activities lack flexibility. Activities are strictly divided by age groups (below 5 vs. 6–12), and cross-participation is not allowed even when parents are willing to supervise. Some activities are very basic (e.g., coloring Vietnamese hats with permanent markers), and our 5-year-old was not allowed to join a cupcake decoration class, which was disappointing and felt unnecessarily rigid. Shower water temperature is unstable. The water can suddenly turn freezing cold or extremely hot when another person uses water at the same time. One of us was burnt by hot water while showering, which is both unpleasant and a safety concern. Inconsistent staff experience. While a few staff members were excellent, many seemed undertrained or hesitant to communicate due to language barriers. In some situations, staff avoided eye contact or interaction rather than trying to assist. For example, on our first breakfast, we were not informed about the table number system for the egg station or coffee ordering. When we tried to order coffee, staff avoided or ignored us. We only learned how the system worked on our second day, which should have been explained clearly from the start. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming. Options were limited, with little variety, and food quality was average at best. This discouraged us from trying other dining options within the hotel. High pricing. Both massage services and food are generally expensive relative to the quality offered. Overall Hyatt Regency Da Nang offers stunning views and a beautiful beachfront, but the experience is let down by maintenance issues, inconsistent service, and a lack of staff training. With better operational standards and a more guest-centric approach—especially for families—this property could be much stronger.

The hotel has an excellent location with a clean and well-maintained beach. The resort itself is quite large and features multiple swimming pools, making it suitable for both families with children and couples. There are around 3–4 restaurants within the property, which makes it convenient to dine without leaving the resort. However, the overall food quality is fairly average and not particularly memorable, with rather ordinary flavors.
