Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid

Staff are friendly and helpful. We had problems in charging our car. We asked for help and they came in a minute to help. Carpark is just in the basement and so we could unload luggages and took the lifts from basement up to our room floor directly. Very convenient. Room : spaciousBreakfast : not worth, only few varieties. Cleanliness : looks clean in general. But I think the hotel should pay more attention to the 'little things'. One spoon in the room and a plate in the breakfast restaurant had dirt.

We had a wonderful short stay at Hyatt Hesperia Madrid before heading home. The room was clean, decently quiet, and the bed was comfortable enough - exactly what we needed for a restful night. We tried the Prix Fixe Valentine’s Rouge Menu. The food was okay and not particularly memorable, but the service was exceptional. Jorge and Fran led the evening with outstanding hospitality. They were super friendly, always smiling, and truly attentive. The real highlights were the surprises during dinner: beautiful live music from a talented violinist and an elegant belly dancer performance that made the evening feel special. My wife was impressed. Overall, a great stay in Madrid. Love Hyatt!

The biggest impression about staying at the Hesperia was the attentiveness, professionalism, and helpfulness of all the hotel staff. From the doorman, to the receptionists, the concierges, and the breakfast staff, they made our family feel welcome and special at every interaction we had during our two week stay. The rooms were modern, spacious and nicely appointed. They were all near each other. Anything additional we needed we received promptly (pillows, mattress toppers, ice). The location was perfect with metro and bus service literally steps away. One of our rooms had a great view of Castellana. The gym had a good set of exercise equipment, but no exercise pads. Amenities in the room were of high quality with plenty of towels and bathrobes.

Great luxury hotel in a central business location in Madrid. The design of the hotel is very modern with a great taste, which creates a soothing environment. The staff throughout are extremely pleasant and a number of them even remembered my name. All the staff just make you feel welcomed at this place and it feels like going home during the two weeks I stayed there, a good feeling I don't get even when I stay at much more expensive hotels. They have a gym at the roof level which is a bit cold to get there and not all the equipment was functional.

I had a fantastic stay! I would like to specifically thank Eva Serrano at the front desk for her excellent assistance and kindness. The location is perfect for exploring Madrid. With a metro station nearby, it was very convenient to get around. Major spots like the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, and Santiago Bernabéu are easily accessible. It is also close to Chamartín Station, making it a perfect base for traveling to nearby cities as well. Highly recommended!

what I loved; the food, including both the coffee and the tea. The meals were also of high quality and a good value. the service was exceptional. I did like someone calling to check whether the room was ok, it wasn’t, see below, but I didn’t feel like changing rooms. what I didn’t like: the closets, had no shelves! This was on a, I was told, upgraded room. The room was also very small. For the same price, I prefer to stay at an AirBNB with a lot more space. The USB outlets were only the old type, so any Iphone bought in the last 3 years could not be plugged.

We had a truly wonderful meal at Hyatt, made unforgettable by the outstanding service. The food was excellent—beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care—but what really elevated the experience was the staff. Our servers, Jorge and Moha, were absolutely fantastic: warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the evening. They went above and beyond to help celebrate my wife’s birthday with a special surprise that completely made her day. It was handled with such class and sincerity that it turned a great meal into a memorable moment for our family. Service like this is rare and deserves recognition. Thank you to Jorge, Moha, and the entire team for creating such a special experience. We will absolutely be back.

The location is conveniently adjacent to a charming neighborhood and thus, not as crowded as elsewhere. The interior is as American as it gets in Madrid with its modern, well-appointed rooms. The same can be said of the pricing - good luck on that request for a late checkout. (But, what’s with that dirty, blue lobby rug?) Thankfully, the staff are superb.

The hotel is easily accessible via metro from the airport (about 40 min). All the hotel employees that I encountered were friendly and polite. I stopped by Mery Bárbola Bar to get some snack. The servers Eric and Jorge were both fantastic - they know how to treat customers with respect and anticipate what we are looking for. I was also impressed with the food quality! While there is a Regency Club Lounge, breakfast is served in the open area between the bar and another restaurant, and it is actually a much better idea than trying to do within the limited lounge space. Guest Experience/Concierge provided excellent restaurant recommendations - none of them disappointed me!

I was very happy with the stay. The staff were professional, the standard of service is high. Hotel is in a good shape in terms of up keep. Breakfast buffer is generous, I had dates, jamon ibercio, pan con tomate and tortilla de patatas almost every day.

The saying is that you cannot judge a hotel by its cover. This Hyatt was is completely the case. Ugly outside but pretty and warm inside. This hotel is not over the top but it excels on the basics. Customer service that follows up, staff that treat Globalists like they are valued. Imagine being given an upgrade without having to go to battle with the front desk. Good service just happens. Truly, is what is inside that counts.

A lovely hotel with great service and nicely appointed rooms. Convenient to metro stations and all the attractions that Madrid has to offer. There is a gym on the top floor, a restaurant, lounge and club lounge on the bottom floor. Overall, I would stay again.

Really, really excellent hotel! Am staying here for a week for a conference and really, I couldn't ask for anything more. The room is great; a queen side bed with lots of pillows and so comfortable. There is free wifi, of course and what I like is having a Nespresso machine here too. Bathroom is quite big and the shower is good. You get some big fluffy towels and also a dressing gown to use, as well as slippers. I can go on and on about the place but all you need to know is that it's a great place to stay and customer service is also brilliant. I called reception because I couldn't get the tv to work properly (my fault) and a technician came up in about 5 minutes. Excellent!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a Gate 1 tour of Spain. It is not on the heart of town and is located in a more residential area. I wrote to the hotel ahead of time to ask for a quiet room, away from the elevator, since we were celebrating our anniversary and were vacationing without our kids. They wrote back and said that they upgraded our room to a premium room, which was beautiful. The bathroom was spacious. The hotel has a pillow bar where you can call and ask for a variety of pillows in various sizes, ranging from "very soft" to lumbar support. A buffet breakfast was included with our room. There was a wide variety of food, including a delicious "make your own omelet" station where you can pick your fillings and they bring you an omelet. The fruit was fresh and coffee excellent. Upon arriving back to our room after our dinner, a complimentary bottle of Cava and delicious dessert treats were waiting for us as an anniversary gift from the hotel! We could not have asked for better service and I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Madrid.

This hotel is fantastic. The all you can eat breakfast is out of this world, with very healthy items like various fruits, Walnut milk, soy Milk, greek yogurt, fresh fruit juices, sliced meats, and a variety of eggs, waffles, and delicious pastries. The rooms are super clean and fancy, and the best part is that the windows open. The rooms are kept very tidy, the staff even hung my clothes when I left them laying on my bed. The staff knows how to cater to their guests. Fantastic location.

Location is great! You are far enough from the hussle and bussle from the touristic center, yet the metro is 50 steps away and can get you the historic center in a few minutes. We were able to check in early after flying for 14 hours. Room is small but very clean. Staff is friendly .

This is my very first review on yelp, but I simply had to broadcast the outstanding service of this 5 star luxury hotel. From the minute we arrived, the staff went over and beyond to help us with anything we could possibly need - walking itineraries, restaurant recommendations/ reservations as well as unique things to do with our kids. Rooms are clean and large, bathrooms modern and beds/pillows comfy as can be. What put this hotel over the top was our experience with Mr. Gutierrez from guest relations. Even after we left the hotel and needed assistance in retrieving some of our belongings from Spain, Mr. Gutierrez went over and beyond to help us - a degree of kindness completely unexpected. A first rate experience!

Great hotel experience. Friendly staff, nice location just seconds from metro line, clean and updated look and feel. We were both very pleased.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the previous reviewers on the high rating if this hotel, especially given the price. While the service by the staff is tremendous, the uncomfortable bed ruined our experience. We were given a king size bed and originally delighted, however, once we got into the bed to sleep we found that it was actually two twin beds that had been pushed together. There was a hard section in the middle where the beds were joined, the bed made loud squeaking noises with the slightest move, and overall just a very old and uncomfortable mattress. For me, having a good night's rest is the most important element of a hotel and on this criteria Hesperia Madrid is very lacking. The staff clearly takes pride in their work at this hotel -- it's a shame that the management has not chosen to simply buy new mattresses for the rooms. If they had done so, this review would be four stars.
