Hyatt Regency Koh Samui

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui in Koh Samui and can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful resort. The entire property is extremely well maintained, with stunning landscaping and a very calm, elegant atmosphere. The materials used throughout the hotel feel high-quality and thoughtfully selected, creating a luxurious yet relaxed ambiance. The food was excellent – refined, fresh, and beautifully presented. We also really appreciated the hotel’s visible efforts toward sustainability, especially their focus on ecological practices and recycling. It’s great to see a luxury resort taking environmental responsibility seriously. A special highlight for our family was the kids’ club. The childcare was outstanding, especially thanks to Nidnoi, who was absolutely amazing. She created such versatile and creative crafts with our child and made every session fun, engaging, and memorable. We felt completely comfortable and grateful for her warm and professional care. Another unforgettable experience was the beach yoga session. The instructor guided me in such a calm and soothing way that I felt completely relaxed and rebalanced afterward. Practicing yoga by the sea in that peaceful setting was simply wonderful. Overall, an exceptional stay – beautiful surroundings, outstanding service, and thoughtful details that made all the difference. Thank you!

So… the rooms are very nice. Good place to come with kids, thy have bunk beds. The place itself is beautiful. A bit in the middle of nowhere. Actually almost private beach. It is not very big - you cannot feel lost, older kids can go alone safely. There are some reasonable shops in the neighbourhood and some restaurants. It is close to the centre so you can borrow a moto and go. Streets are safe. The breakfast restaurant is very crowded later so better come earlier. Once we were sent to the one close to the sea, if anything is needed just ask the staff. They also have a lot of activities for adults and kids. The staff is very helpful and nice, they try to meet every guests need.

An amazing hotel in a beautiful location. This was our second stay and we loved every minute here. Our children in particular loved all the facilities.||The breakfast is really amazing with a fantastic choice of food. We also used the regency club regularly which offers great food and drink choices ||Special mention to||Bebe - We had fond memories of Bebe from our first trip and she really went above and beyond to make our trip special. Our children have really formed a friendship with her and miss her already ||Bank - always friendly and helpful. Seems to be all over the hotel and really ensures you are having a fantastic holiday ||Nong - really great service at the Regency club and was really great with our children ||Art - special thanks for reaching out after my son was ill and had to go to hospital. Really made the effort to ensure we had everything we needed ||Chef Nattapark- really went above and beyond to ensure the food experience was excellent. Special thanks for reaching out multiple times to see if we needed anything in particular following my sons illness and hospital trip ||We loved everything here and will definitely stay here again

We absolutely loved this hotel! The hotel is gorgeous, and for the last half of our stay we had a room with a gorgeous sea view. The staff are so welcoming, helpful & friendly. There is a gym, several pools & private beach. The only downside is the location, although it is very easy to get a taxi around the island, you can’t really walk anywhere from the hotel but this isn’t the hotels fault. I would definitely stay here if I was to visit Koh Samui again.

We are enjoying our stay here very much. The place is stunning and the service is high-class. We wanted to praise the entire staff for the warm hospitality, but a huge special thank you goes to Sam. He was so kind and attentive to us from the very first moment. We had a specific issue, and Sam didn't give up until it was resolved in the best way possible. His help and care truly changed our entire honeymoon experience for the better and made it unforgettable. Highly recommended

Good pick for globalists with families, but has design flaws that make it a bad choice for people without kids. Pros: -Great globalist breakfast buffet. -Really strong regency club happy hour from 5-7 with free drinks and enough food it could be dinner. -Standard rooms are almost as good as suites. (Also a con for suit upgrades) -The manager of the beach restaurant is fantastic(Art), so service there is great. Cons: -Most staff are not proficient in English. -The beach is small and is mostly large pebbles, not sand. -The adults pool is sandwiched between a shallow pool filled with toddlers and a designated kids pool, resulting in zero places to relax without loud children. -Runoff for the main pool dumps behind the adult pool chairs, sounding like someone is peeing behind your head all day. -Location is east of the airport, meaning you have to drive around the airport to get most places.

Hyatt Regency Samui isn’t inexpensive but we got what paid for and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It’s a family oriented resort and very quiet, which was perfect for us. It is perfect for families with young children. Situated on a quiet section of beach in Bophut, North Chaweng, the views across the sea are spectacular, the five pools are beautiful and everything about the property is immaculately designed and maintained. If you want to be a short walk from the night action this isn’t the resort for you. We had a hire car which was very handy for getting out and about, but it’s easy to get taxis. It’s about five minutes drive into busy Chaweng town. Staff are warm, welcoming and professional and everything is spotless. Would go again in a heartbeat.

The team at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui really made our stay exceptional. Each and every staff member we encountered were so friendly and provided excellent customer service. The ocean view room was fabulous. The adult only pool was a bonus as there are a lot of children, it was a very family friendly resort. ||Food, drinks, entertainment, regency club, breakfast, location, views, ease of getting around, pools & layout of resort all were really fabulous. ||The spa, although expensive, was great. ||We would highly recommend this resort to all.
