Hyatt Regency Koh Samui

Overall, great stay here in early Feb '25. I explored the entire resort area, and the place is stunning. Even though I didn't really get much benefit from Hyatt explorist (place was well booked), the services here are top notch. Common area facilities well kept. Great sea views from high up down to the beach. Food is decent, but the breakfast buffet is the best in value and offerings. Staff mostly friendly. Room is nice and fairly spacious, but there are bit of stains on the couch. I also had to call twice for housekeeping day after check-in, and still no one came before I went out. Quiet place but only several minutes by scooter from town center. While I had a good experience, I don't think the value considering the price they were charging per night to be particularly good. In actuality, I'd give them a 8.5 or 9 out of 10.

Fantastic 3 night visit. Wish we had planned more time. The hotel is so convenient from the airport. The grounds are great and the resort is compact so easy to get around. Beautiful rooms many with a view. As globalists we enjoyed the Regency Lounge which was one of the best we have ever experienced. Breakfast was fantastic with great selections and quality. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Only critiques just know if you are traveling as a couple or adults only there are plenty of kids. They have a camp Hyatt. Didn’t bother us but just know this. Also chairs around the pool were all grabbed early and they didn’t enforce holding chairs all day. Small gripes. We would return 100%.

For a 5 star hotel, the details matter and the service is poor. Polish clothes left behind by cleaners, a coffee cup not taken out of a room in four days, children cups not being offered at dinner, staff questioning if I should be requesting a babysitter for our 1 year old. Also, the beach is narrow and shallow so you’ll likely go to beach clubs for sand and sun time. Rooms are spacious, the kids rooms are incredible as they open up to the playground/kids pool, good breakfast.

My stay at the Hyatt Regency was exceptional. It was made even better by the wonderful staff that keep the place running. Aof in particular went the extra mile around the pool, he was so kind and sweet and wanted to help in anyway he could. Bank was also very helpful when I was sick. The hotel itself is beautiful, and I would recommend the full ocean sea view room.

What an amazing experience it was to stay here! Besides manicured and well spread out landscape, beautiful spacious rooms and great views - they offer great selection of activities for kids and adults, which was a wonderful surprise. Everyone we interacted from the staff was so so helpful, specifically want to call out - Risa for helping us book a boat and sort logistics, Kit for amazing Thai boxing sessions and his kind humor, P.B for helping us figure out with smart TV and Mae - the superwoman behind breakfasts (a great deal for Hyatt members!). Thank you all so much 🧡 you made our stay infinitely better!

We had a wonderful 5 day family stay in the resort and only left once. The staff took really good care of us and was very service oriented. Food was very good, too with Thai, Indian and Mediterranean-levante cuisine. It's a beautiful relaxed property, well taken care of with lovely pools (and one adults only pool). The beach is a bit small, rocky and was most of the time so windy, that the red flag was up. Nevertheless, we enjoyed eating at the beach and relaxing by and swimming in the pools. They have nice indoor activities throughout the day for kids in their Camp Hyatt. We recharged our batteries fully. Would come back here for sure, if going to Samui again.

Stunning Interiors & beautiful gardens & planting. Good service, very friendly & helpful staff. Incredible tiered pools down to the ocean but way too few sun loungers with many guests not having anywhere to set up, sunbathe & enjoy the day. That said, it's a very nice hotel.

This is a true 5 star hotel. Starting with the modern unique decor and design all around the hotel. It is built in such a way that it never feels crowded. You always feel like you're in an exclusive resort. The crown jewel is the amazing service from the hotel staff. Everyone, from the bellboy, to the waiters, lobby reception and to the managers, truly want your experience to be unforgettable. And it was one for our family. Highly recommended.
