We booked this Hyatt mainly for the ocean view shown on the website, but the reality was quite different. From our suite, the view was largely blocked by tall trees and it seemed this was the case for most rooms at the hotel. This felt misleading compared to the photos online. Updating the images to reflect the actual views would help set the right expectations for future guests.||||The suite itself was very comfortable, and we especially loved the bathroom with its minimalistic, modern design. Breakfast was pleasant, though the variety felt a little.||||Where the hotel truly excelled was in service. Housekeeping was superb, and the staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Their hospitality was the highlight of our visit.||||Overall, this is a beautiful property with excellent service. More accurate marketing of the views and a wider breakfast selection would really elevate the guest experience.

We chose the Hyatt Regency in Koh Samui for 5 nights for a family multi destination stay. |The property is contemporary, well maintained and it outlooks onto the ocean whose shore is partly rocky, we quite liked this! |The lobby was a beautiful area to spend some time, catch the view breeze of the ocean and relax. |The location is remote, a short drive away from the busy Chaweng strip, which we preferred, however motorbikes and cars are available for hire, we found this a great way to get around the island. ||The room we had was spacious and clean, the shower had great pressure and the room was promptly cleaned and well upkept through the stay. ||Koh Samui at this time of year (August) is high season, and this hotel, alike many others are occupied largely with families and children and are busy. |The hotel though has multiple pools, the highlight for our children was the pool slide.||The main hotel buffet breakfast had a good spread with variety, the staff were attentive to service! The dinners we had were also fragrant and tasty. ||We indulged in spa treatments at the hotel which were incredibly relaxing, the pedicure was notably a lovely experience.||Unfortunately, our children become unwell for part of our stay, no fault of the hotel, but from a previous destination, the staff expressed concern and care and were always ready to help us.||This hotel is led by Mr Pravin Kumar, and unlike many hotel groups we’ve stayed across, he was present throughout the property to ensure smooth running aswell as personally greet and speak to the guests. |We were able to talk to him about some minor hiccups we experienced and he went more than out of his way to correct these! ||Whilst Pravin leads a tight nit team and most of the staff were brilliant, I would like to mention Bud at the hotel reception who was very attentive and May who was a brilliant pool attendant. Also Su in housekeeping and One at breakfast who were all warm and very helpful.. Not to forget all our Buggy drivers too. ||Thank you for a memorable stay, we will be back in the future!

When we arrived, we were first given a room that was not accessible for a baby stroller. After realizing the room was not suitable, I contacted the reception, and they immediately changed it for us to an accessible room. Still, the whole arrival process left us with a rather unpleasant first impression. The following day, the hotel manager, Khun Bud, reached out to me (as part of her routine, not because I had complained). I shared my feelings with her, and she did everything possible to make our stay more enjoyable. She approached us with warmth, sensitivity, and genuine care, and thanks to her efforts our experience greatly improved. From that point on, we truly enjoyed the rest of our stay at the hotel. I sincerely appreciate the way Khun Bud handled the situation, and I believe her dedication made a big difference for us

One word—gorgeous. The view, the service, the food—absolutely amazing. Loved every moment there. Our 5-year-old had so much fun too. They have their own playground, the pool is amazing, and there’s golf cart service to the lobby and the restaurant. Everything was just perfect.

An amazing place to stay! The views, atmosphere, interiors, and facilities are all so inviting. A big shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly supportive during my stay.||I fell quite sick at the time, and Julia along with the team went above and beyond to care for me. Julia checked in regularly, made sure I had meals, and even sent a thoughtful “get well soon” card. The team also helped with 5 am hospital visits, checked on my recovery, and assisted me around the resort and island.||The room was comfortable, peaceful, and had the most beautiful views. Just what I needed. From arrival to departure, the team ensured I was supported and looked after every step of the way.||Much love and gratitude to Julia and the incredible team for turning a tough situation into an unforgettable stay. ❤️

Pretty new, modern and neat hotel. Peaceful location with lovely and sweet staff. Service is fantastic and everything is well maintained. The pools are giant and the garden seducing to stay longer. The restaurants are awesome as well. 100% recommended

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here, long overdue as we had a stay during covid that was cancelled. It's a luxury but not "over the top" luxury property. It's literally 10 minutes from the airport so pretty convenient. The street that the hotel is on, there's not much to see within a 10 min walking distance (aside from taxi mafia) so you'll need to use grab to get places. Globalist treatment is decent, there is a lounge (rare for resort properties) but it does close early at 7pm. Beach is pretty nice but there isn't much sand anymore. Beautiful pools, but they close super early. Small critique is that some of the walkways are poorly lit at night requiring phone lights. But everything else is good and will definitely return.

I normally do not write reviews, but I decided to write one for Hyatt Regency at Koh Samui. My husband decided to take both my son and I here to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary and I’m so glad he did!! This place took our breaths away. Everything was just so clean and so modern looking. The lobby itself was one of the best highlights of this vacation. The staff welcomed us so warmly and made us feel like family there and they are also soooo accommodating!! Top customer service is a big deal to me and this hotel and the staff nailed it. We didn’t run into any issues at all and we find the food here amazing and they offer a good variety of options. We will definitely come back again!!
