Hyatt Regency Trinidad

My family and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Hotel in Trinidad, and our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The property was beautiful, clean, and welcoming, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible service. A very special thank you to our waiter, Luke. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of every time we dined. His positive attitude and genuine kindness added so much to our experience. It’s staff members like Luke who turn a great hotel stay into an unforgettable one. We are so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and very welcoming, but what truly made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service I received. A special thank you to Jer, our waiter, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His professionalism, warm personality, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to come across someone who delivers service with such authenticity and pride. Because of Jer and other staff members the overall experience, I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Trinidad. Exceptional service truly makes all the difference! I stayed at this wonder Hotel in the month of January for Soaka Weekend. The same weekend as the big snow storm which everyone's flight got canceled. The hotel had a major conference that same weekend. The entire hotel was booked out. I was lucky enough to be helped by the two wonderful agents at the front desk by the names of Angelina & Sapphire. They made sure i was able to extend my room for the extra days needed. Ladies i thank you very much. Now on to the hotel. I have stayed here many time before and had a great time but this time the hotel services was beyond amazing. I was greeted with a cocktail beverage at check in. The room was spotless and a nice cool temperature which is always a plus. The view was delightful and soothing. Nothing like opening your blinds early morning and seeing the ocean. If you do happen to stay here definitely order the pepper shrimp and the oxtail. The menu has so many choices and everything is flavorful. Thank you Hyatt. During a recent leisure trip with a colleague earlier this week, I found the establishment to be impeccably maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The reception staff provided an exceptionally warm welcome. Our accommodations were comfortable and provided an excellent city view. However, the audibility of activities in adjacent rooms and the hallway was a minor concern. While the service could benefit from increased efficiency, as we experienced an approximate 15-minute wait before being attended to and assigned a server upon seating, the subsequent service provided by Simone effectively compensated for this initial delay through her amiable demeanor. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed the Tropical Passion Smoothie from the on-site snackette. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

My overall stay at Hyatt Regency was amazing. Food was great, service was outstanding and I would definitely recommend friends and family. The only problem I had was the annoying Christmas music they blast throughout the hotel all day and night even during dinner. I asked if the music could be changed and it continued. Imagine trying to have a romantic birthday dinner by the water and the same Christmas song comes on 5 times in one sitting. Not to mention I checked in December 30th so Christmas was well and over.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad for a short solo trip and overall had a solid experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional. The gym was well-equipped and clean, and the spa was very good. I also appreciated the overall calm, upscale feel of the property. The food was decent, but pricing felt high for what was offered. One meal in particular stood out as expensive relative to portion and value, and the billing structure with added fees plus tip was a bit confusing. Breakfast was fine, but not memorable. The biggest limitation is location. There isn’t much within walking distance, so if you enjoy exploring on foot, keep that in mind. The pool area was lively during my stay due to Carnival season, which may be a positive or negative depending on what you’re looking for. Overall, this is a reliable, comfortable option and one of the more recognizable hotels in Trinidad. I’d recommend it if you value good service, solid amenities, and a predictable stay, especially for business or a short visit.

The room was very spacious, the bed and linens were very comfortable, good water pressure and temperature in the shower, and beautiful view, however the windows were dirty from the outside. Couldn't find the remote for the tv because there wasn't one, took a very long time and several calls before we finally got one to the room... AND the reason given was because we were asking for one after 10 pm.... but I thought this was a very unreasonable excuse to give since we shouldn't even have to be searching for one at all!!!! So a little disappointing there. The breakfast was good, had a variety of local and western dishes, no coffee machine for self service （ but can order one）and most of the waiting staff were friendly. Smooth check in and check out.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt for 5 days with some friends and we can’t say enough good things about this hotel. This was some of the best service I have ever experienced in all of my travels. The front desk, restaurant, doormen, cleaning and support staff were all professional, courteous and amazing. The hotel was very clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job with keeping our room clean daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking to visit Trinidad. The food was amazing, I can’t get over the breakfast buffet. There was an array of authentic Trinidadian cuisine. The dinner was so darn good and yes, the soursop ice cream, 10/10. I can’t wait to visit again.
