Hyatt Regency Yokohama (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Arguably there’s no better place to base an exploration of Yokohama than in the district, right by the port, that the Hyatt Regency Yokohama calls home. Like the city itself, the hotel is a heady mix of modern and historical elements — a thoroughly contemporary business hotel with plenty of local color, with enough personality to appeal also to leisure travelers. Rooms and suites are handsome, many with impressive views, and the flagship restaurant is a Japanese interpretation of Italian flavors prepared via French techniques. The waterside Yamashita Park and the central Yokohama Park and Stadium are both close at hand." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed 5 nights at Hyatt Regency Yokohama as a family of four during the Christmas season, and it was our first time visiting the city. As Hyatt Globalist members, we really enjoyed the benefits of our status, including access to the Regency Club. We were assigned a Regency Club room that was spacious, quiet, and spotless—perfect for our family. The beds were extremely comfortable, and when we entered the room after check-in, a welcome amenity with a personalized note was waiting for us. Such a thoughtful touch made our stay feel even more special. The staff truly made our stay memorable. From check-in to check-out, everyone was welcoming, professional, and attentive. I had several inquiries with the front desk, including recommendations, directions, and luggage forwarding to our next hotel, and all were handled efficiently and with great care. Special thanks to Ayana Otsuka, Kana Inoue, Youka Ichinose, Kizaki Riho, Setia Deni Sopian, Yuta Suda, Kobori Ryunosuke, Otake Ayumi, Santoswakoh Ruka, and Assistant GM Hirobumi Kanno. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. The check-in process was seamless, the hotel was in excellent condition, our room was clean, everything worked perfectly, and the food and beverage options—including breakfast—were excellent. The Regency Club breakfast had a wonderful mix of Western and Japanese dishes, and seating was never an issue. Overall, the staff’s helpfulness and professionalism exceeded our expectations. This stay was far better than we anticipated, and we would 100% stay here again.

Decided to make our first trip to Yokohama ( we been to all of Japan except Okinawa) and chose this hotel for its value price and good reviews. Don’t ask me why Yokohama was never in my travel radar.||Although this hotel is located closer to Chinatown and about 5 stops away from Yokohama station. The surrounding location of the hotel had great vibes. I like the slower pace of life, less crowded streets and small little shops. 5 mins to the right of hotel and you are in Chinatown n 5 mins to the left of hotel and you are at the wharf/bay and Yamashita park.||We did not have any meals at the hotel as there are many food choices and convenience shops just outside of hotel. Try Marques for fine dining, The Wharf for breakfast and Chinatown for dinner. ||Checkin was fast and rooms are spacious and well maintained. Rooms are well insulated from traffic noise. The hotel does hot have much of a view as it faces several other buildings. ||The hotel staff were super helpful in helping us to get restaurant reservations and food choices. ||Yokohama is a very walkable city and most places are within a 5km radius. There is airport limousine (stops at Hotel New Grand) and train service to Haneda airport (30mins) and to get to Tokyo Ginza station (60 mins). You can make your base in Yokohama and do many day n side trips to other parts of Japan especially Shizuoka.||Overall I would this hotel my choice of stay while in Yokohama.

Loved our stay here. Rooms are large, location is great and the hotel staff are excellent - attentive, helpful and really do seem to take pride in providing the best service possible. Our son was a little unwell during our stay which meant we had to have our sheets fully changed and the front desk personnel organised for the cleaning to occur during the hour that we were out for lunch. They and provided us with anything else we needed - stroller, bags etc.

The location is good, and the service is even one of a kind across all the Hyatt hotels I stayed in. I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Kai Jolleys and Nagayasu Misaki for their exceptional kindness and support. As I do not speak Japanese, they kindly assisted me by calling multiple locations on my behalf and carefully confirming detailed information about my lost camera. They were patient, thorough, and genuinely committed to helping me. Although the camera itself was not of great monetary value, it contained many precious photos that are very important to me. I am deeply grateful that they treated this matter with such care and sincerity. Thanks to their efforts, I was able to recover something truly meaningful. I sincerely appreciate their kindness and generosity.

This hotel is literally perfect in every way, shape and form. The bus from Haneda airport stops literally 2 blocks away from here. The train station is up the street, Chinatown is down the street, Lawson is right across the street and you are right by the water for beautiful views. Every single worker in this hotel was top tier, my first encounter was Kai who was so helpful and got me and my girls to go check out Chinatown that night, he gave us maps and told us of a few hot spots. I got the 3 full beds in the room and believe it or not it wasn't cramped. Please attend the bar and have tea time, the ambience they set at night is so relaxing. I have recommended so many to stay here when they visit. I appreciate each everyone who made our stay the best.

Really enjoyed my stay here, I highly recommend it. Great location since it’s close to Chinatown and other popular spots. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Rooms are spacious and clean. Lots of items can be lent to customers like air purifiers, humidifier and hair iron when requested. We qualified to get access to the lounge, breakfast and late check out. Breakfast is much appreciated-it offers lots of options, both western and asian dishes.

Hotel Location was convenient 5 minute walk from train station. Clean hotel room; can accommodate 3 adults in a triple bed room. Yamashita Park 2 blocks from the hotel is a very nice park to walk or sit and enjoy the waterfront views. It is a convenient 5 minute walk to Chinatown for dinner. It is a 20 minutes walk to the Cup Noodle Museum, on the way back we stop by Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. At the at Regency Club lounge the breakfast have a diverse variety of food item.||||||Previous
