My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hyatt Zilara. This was our second time staying here, and we plan to return again with our family at Ziva. There are so many onsite activities, so plan and budget accordingly.||Special thanks to the incredible Zilara staff, who were consistently hospitable and respectful. Urbanz was our favorite breakfast spot every morning — Carla, Natasha Oscar Iancinth, and the entire team were amazing. We also enjoyed a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach with the kindest service from Leshay, a fun paint-and-sip, and a wonderful Jamaican Yard event on the Ziva side. The photographer was fantastic, too.||Unfortunately, my experience with Island Routes Tours was the one low point. On my first day, the representative, Nastachia, was curt and dismissive when I asked for more details about excursions, even suggesting I just “watch the video” instead of answering my questions. As a fellow Caribbean woman, it was disheartening to then watch her warmly engage with another group moments later, offering them the detailed service I had hoped for. The next day, we worked with a different representative who was professional, pleasant, and made booking easy — which only proved that consistent, respectful service *is* possible.||Overall, our Zilara experience was wonderful, but I hope Island Routes Tours takes steps to ensure all guests are treated with the same warmth and attention.
