Bringing a cherished high school friend from Taiwan to Vietnam, we find ourselves in a hidden haven that whispers secrets only the soul can hear. Hybrid has been hands down my favorite bar in Saigon for the past couple of years. I was so excited to visit their new, speakeasy-like location within Tipsy, but wasn’t sure if it would have the same vibe. I’m happy to say that it’s just as chill, the staff is just as knowledgeable and warm, and if anything, it’s a lot more intimate. If you are looking for a place that makes craft cocktails with care and deliberation, with tasty small bites (karaage is so delicious) and good music, hybrid is the place to be. Perfect spot for conversation and good vibes.

Fantastic highly underrated bar!! I found Hybrid off a recommendation from two different top bartenders at one of the top 50 bars in Asia. I’m so glad I went because I would have never found it otherwise! Drinks were fantastic with really unique flavor profiles. Very intimate setting, but with friendly bartenders happy to chat if you’re solo or new in town. The food menu also looked diverse and tasty (lots of good drinking food made in house!). They have bar seating, a small lounge seat area, and high top 2-seat tables. Try to get there early or on a weekday or you wont get a seat!

Love cocktail and service here. The location is great you can have a walk in the downtown and get up here enjoy amazing drink from really skillful barista. Feel like having the most sotiphiscated but calm and enjoyable cocktail.

This bar has it all—amazing drinks, a killer view, and fried ants. Yes, ants. Crunchy, weirdly good, and now I’m questioning my diet. Two hours flew by with great chats and even better cocktails. Can’t wait to return (ants optional).

The new location is more intimate and cosy. The cocktails continue to be innovative where multiple ingredients are incorporated seamlessly without overpowering the cocktail. Black Tomato is an easy to drink savoury highball with the chocolate coated tomato garnish being the star.

Not easy to find. Lucky you - it's worth the search! Mixology very good and exceptional. It's quiet in a pleasant atmosphere. The view of the cathedral through the broken wall is perfect.

If you like fat washed, milk washed, or clarified cocktails this is the place to go in HCM! It’s hidden bar inside a speakeasy bar. lol bar inside a bar. This place was recommended by a bartender in da nang! So glad we came here too! Thank you to the bartender who recommended enigma to us!
