Lovely beach! Not rocky, quite shallow, beautiful water. It's also quite wheelchair accessible. From the (paid) car park on the left side of the beach, you can access an accessible toilet and a walkway along the beach (though quite sandy). On the right side of the beach there's even a ramp/slipway which goes into the water when it's at high tide - though beware of water surges with waves.

We visited Hyeopjae Beach to watch the sunset, but got there early enough to enjoy walking along the rocks, beach and dip our feet in the beautiful emerald clear waters. Parking was super easy and plentiful right by the beach area. There were convenient restrooms, changing rooms and a place to wash off your feet right as you return to the parking area. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and of course equipment rentals right at the beach. Lots of families enjoying time together, and exploring the shallow water areas between the lava ricks. Beautiful views and sunset!

Nice beach but quite busy. However it’s clean and you can rent a sun bed or table, flap tie and more. They have lockers too. The water is shallow and easy to play in. We had fun.

Beautiful and popular beach. During low tide, many went to do beach combing - can find shrimps, hermit crabs and crabs there. Public toilet is easily accessible and facilities outside the toilets for beach goers to wash their feet as well.

Beautiful beach! Gorgeous water and lovely white sand! The water was cool and crisp! Lots of parking spots, though it’s paid parking (not too expensive though, 2000KRW).

Paradise Lost in the Crowds: A Stunning Beach, Overrun by Tourists This beach is undeniably stunning: the pristine white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters are truly breathtaking. However, be warned - the sheer volume of tourists significantly detracts from the experience. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was overwhelmingly crowded, both on the beach itself and in the surrounding area, which was plagued by traffic jams. If you're seeking a secluded paradise, this may not be it. Ideal for those who enjoy a lively, bustling beach atmosphere, but those seeking tranquility, look elsewhere.

Crowded on summer Friday evening. Tide was low, so it is good for kids to play. White sand and shallow water. There are many cafe and restaurants nearby to chill with the view.

Good and clean sand, the bathing area was roped off, because of the jetskis further out. Therefore, it's pretty crowded and the maximum water depth in that roped-off area was maybe 1 meter or less. Good with children or for taking a dip and cooling off, bad if you want to do some actual swimming, except maybe in the morning. Better go to Gwakji beach for that.
