I stayed at this hotel for four nights in a cozy twin room priced at €250 per night, breakfast included. The location is very convenient, the breakfast was decent, and despite being on a street, the room was surprisingly quiet. The reception staff were also very kind and always quick to help whenever I needed something. However, the room itself had several drawbacks. The biggest issue was its size: it was extremely small, so small that the bathroom door could barely open fully, and there was no proper place to lay down a suitcase. The “desk” was really just a tiny table with almost no usable space. It also would have been nice to have a boiler to make tea in the room, but only a coffee machine was provided. Maintenance was another issue. Parts of the room were in poor condition, including the bathroom door, which looked worn and almost moldy. The shower drained so poorly that water accumulated and eventually spilled across the bathroom floor. Some bathroom fixtures were rusty, like the chain for the blinds, and the hand soap hadn’t been refilled, I had to request it myself at reception. Towels were clean but far too small to comfortably shower with. Lastly, while the staff were genuinely nice, my ID was not checked when I checked in. Overall, for €250 per night, I expected significantly better room quality and upkeep.

My room was uncomfortably warm, despite turning off the heater AND opening the windows. I had to sleep with the windows open, which let in lots of street noise, and light. I had requested a quiet room away from the elevator and street noise, and they gave me the opposite, with a room right in front of the elevator and a corner from overlooking two streets. For what i paid for this hotel, I would've expected a higher quality mattress--it was bouncy, squeaky, lacked support, and i could feel the springs. The staff and lobby were lovely, but I was not satisfied with my room. I brought it to the attention of the receptionist, but they said that others had complained, too, but there was no technician on duty to fix it, no way to change rooms, either. They didn't offer compensation of any kind, nor did they follow up during my 3-night stay, during which I hardly slept.

Don’t let the 3 star classification fool you. If I was told that this was a four star hotel, I would not question it at all. It had such a warm and cozy feel to it starting from the lobby area and up to the room during my student was a medium size one since I was travel solo But if you’re traveling as a couple, you might wanna get a bigger room. Was very friendly and helpful, the room, and the general areas were very clean, and the location was amazing. I have not tried their breakfast as I wanted to discover nearby places. Another plus was that you could open all the windows in the room to get fresh air. This was extra helpful as they had no ac in September. If you prefer cold room to sleep in, this might not be the right one for you around this time. Brenda at the lobby is very nice and Brandon at the lobby is very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay ay Hygge again.

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk staff. The two of us simply moved two poufs in the hotel lobby to sit on them more comfortably on our Christmas eve in the hotel lobby. In response, we were spoken to in a very rude and inappropriate manner. The conversation quickly became unpleasant, as even after we apologized, the staff repeatedly insisted that this was something we should have asked permission for in advance. This was emphasized multiple times, despite the fact that it was only about moving two seats for us to sit more comfortably. We found this interaction unnecessarily uncomfortable and not guest-oriented at all. It significantly diminished our overall impression of the hotel.

Nice atmosphere, very good located. They have a private parking lot (with limited availability), it was also possible to leave the car for a while after check-out, big plus! Regarding the room: Everything was clean, spacious and there even was a bathtub. We were unlucky with the location of the room within the hotel - facing the road and being on the ground floor. The windows are just not sound proof enough to not hear the people and cars outside. Furthermore there was the constant noise of the ventilation system which couldn't be turned off and the beds were squeaking. If you are sensitive to noise you should probably ask for a quiet room or bring earplugs. I still recommend the hotel, also because of the location, the nearby Cafés are also a bonus.

Nice little hotel in Brussels near the busier shopping street, Louise Avenue with a wonderful and friendly front staff but away from the hustle and bustle across the street near the old streets. The rooms themselves were not outfitted with air conditioning and the way that my room was laid out, the washroom door opened into the bed which made it a bit difficult to maneuver. The lobby was a great space for relaxing and had a lot of greenery which I liked.

I had an excellent stay for 3 nights. Super comfortable and welcoming vibe. Quiet, but a short walk to a lively street of restaurants and bars. Perfectly clean. Very reasonable prices for the quality. I will stay here again next time I am in Brussels.

Lovely room, in a clean and pretty hotel. Staff were kind and provided everything we need. We had a great view across the city.
