The bread and butter were really good. The staff was welcoming and greeted us with a smile, which is hard to find nowadays. The vibe, service, and music were all perfect!

It was my second time in Hygge. I was sitted at the large table alongside with other guests. The atmosphere was Amazing! The guys working there are awesome. Would definitely recommend this place for a top-quality coffee. And their pumpkin spicy pie was delicious. But make sure to book a table in advance…

We absolutely loved this cozy little spot. Simple, yet delicious, and GREAT cold brew. Loved getting to know the 2 brothers (owners) and hearing more about the dishes. We regret not ordering the bread and cheese pudding, but got to try a bite and it was unlike anything we’ve had before. Loved our afternoon here. Hope more people get to stumble upon this spot, like we did!

Hygge is a delightful café that perfectly captures the essence of comfort and sustainability. Offering a well-rounded menu of breakfast, lunch, and brunch, it caters to a wide range of tastes, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. What I admire most is their commitment to reducing food waste, making each dish feel thoughtful and intentional. Vegans and vegetarians will appreciate the variety of creative, plant-based options, though the menu is suitable for all healthy food lovers. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, matched by excellent service. While prices are a bit higher, the quality and philosophy behind the food make it worthwhile. More on IG daniela.minar

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place for a while so we made sure to book in advance. I showed up 10’ early and was told that there’d a 5-10’ wait (totally legit ofc), so I chose to wait for my friend outside. Once she joined me we kept on waiting outside and at least 4-5 people have been seated who came after us and the manager didn’t even bother to give us an update on our booking. After yet another person coming after us and being seated I asked about our table and he said yes, yes, just a minute an d finally got us seated. I get they are busy but acknowledging the waiting customers would have provided a much nicer experience. We got seated at a sofa by the window which was fine for a coffee but really uncomfortable for a brunch. The food came in pretty quickly and I must admit was rather good. The drink however was a disaster - I ordered a chai latte (my absolute favorite drink so I repute myself somewhat of a connoisseur in judging it), which turned out to be very watery, with just a hint of spices and a drip of milk. I immediately called a waitress explaining politely that the drink wasn’t properly made and requesting to exchange it for a regular latte. She said yes and I was brought a latte about 10 minutes later. Imagine my surprise when I saw the final bill and I’ve been charged for both drinks! I found that totally dishonest and unprofessional - if you refuse to exchange my drink, you have to let me know so that I can decide how to proceed. I was very clear in my complaint about the drink and it was taken for granted by both me and my friend that my exchange (not new order) request was accepted. I noticed it only after paying the bill so couldn’t argue. The dessert was just ok, nothing special. Overall, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. For a total of 34,5€ per person you can find much better options with friendlier service elsewhere. In short, overrated and not worth the hype.

Amazing atmosphere and great owners! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such warming hospitality :) The owner even gave us a list of recommendations to go in Milan. The food is also top-notch and the menu changed once a month! Can’t recommend this place enough — one of the best spots we discovered during our visit!

The place is cozy and simple, the menu is quite small, portions also, but delicious. We really love the sweet pastry with gelato
