Hy’s Limousine Worldwide services have been wonderful. The drivers have been pleasant and courteous. Real gentleman who opens the door for you, carries and load the suitcases in and out of car. A+ services!

I booked two rides with this company after being recommended by family members. The first was fantastic, driver was polite, professional, and skilled. Got us to our destination with plenty of time and even gave us complementary refreshment bags. Unfortunately the second was not to the same standard. Driver drove under the speed limit while failing to maintain his lane constantly, swerving in the roadway to the point where other drivers were honking their horns at us. My partner watched him nod his head (falling asleep) multiple times. He requested to stop twice so that he could "get an energy drink" adding more time to our over 20 hours of exhausted travel that day. My partner was extremely upset and stated it was the most stressful 3 hour drive she ever had. Very disappointed with this as I feel we paid a premium price for this kind of service. Edit: After posting this review I was contacted by the company who was very understanding and empathetic regarding our experience. They were apologetic and appeared determined to address the situation. I greatly appreciated them reaching out and speaking with me.

Hy’s Limo is a wonderful company. I have been using them for over 12 years but today when I booked a car at the last minute to pick up my son returning home from active duty in the Navy after 9 months, they were especially warm and even provided him a discount in addition to their endless gratitude for his service. I will always use Hy’s. They are fairly priced - better than most - have clean and updated vehicles and wonderful customer service!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Max drive us into NYC today. What a joy. Max arrived early with an immaculate car full of surprises and treats for my daughter. We were headed into American girl doll for her birthday and he made it so special. Max was incredibly professional, safe and considerate. I would highly recommend Max and look forward to using him again!

Hy’s is excellent and we prefer over mass market ride sharing companies. Professional driver, super friendly and was early for a 345am pickup for an early flight out of Newark. Better value at similar price to ride sharing co’s for a cleaner larger, newer 3 row SUV. Local English speaking driver and easy to use iPhone reservation app as well.

Recently needed car service to JFK. Booked with Hy’s. Car came on time, clean and the Driver was excellent. Meticulously dressed, helped me with my luggage, made sure I didn’t forget anything-overall excellent. Will definitely use their services again.

Booked Hy's Limo for travel to Cape Liberty Cruise Port. After telephone discussion of price I accepted and they sent a quote for a higher price. After talking to them again I asked for written quote. I accepted the written quote. After services rendered they charged my credit card for $143.00 more than the quote. I asked why and they said the quote was wrong and they needed to correct it. So, you get to pay for their mistakes. Drivers were professional, Vehicles were clean. Pick up was on time. But that's what you're supposed to do. You're also supposed to know how to quote and then stick by your word. Edit: After posting this review Hy's contacted me, apologized for the overcharge and refunded the difference to my credit card. Because they corrected the problem I have revised the review to 4 stars and will continue to use their service.

Our driver Christopher was great. Our flight was delayed 3 times, when we arrived at our destination it was pouring. I received at text while circling the airport still in the air. When we walked out with our luggage Chris called my cell and was parked right in front of the exit, somehow with 60-70 cars circling trying to get near the terminal. He opened the rear door & grabbed our luggage. Of course we felt special with a brand new Cadillac SUV waiting. We heard Mr. & Mrs Delaney I’m Christopher with Hy’s Limo 👍☘️

Their pricing is misleading and they charge you much more than what you were told. When you call to discuss it with them, they make all kinds of arguments that don't apply, even in the face of a written quote. Do not use this service.

The way they treat their employees is absolutely horrendous! No wonder why they have nothing but terrible reviews recently. There is absolutely no organization. Expect to calling them with problems after you use their service.

Spent a lot of money for a stretch limo for my daughter's prom. We were sent basically a fancy car. The girls wanted the experience of driving in a limo. That was taken away from them. We contacted the company that night about the error and the person we spoke to was basically ambivalent to our issue and didn't really care. I called them today and their solution was to knock off $80 off our almost $800 bill. Needless to say we will never use this company again.

I rented a 14 seat Sprinter party bus from Milford to Gramercy Tavern and returned back to Milford for my wife's Birthday. I had requested a friend who worked for Hys as a driver but was denied. The driver showed up on time and we got off to a great start 85 degrees out perfect day. After 10 minutes into the trip people in the back were complaining about the air conditioning and the driver said it was as high as it goes. I had offered the driver to use my GPS as he was having trouble with his but chose to use his phone. Traffic was heavy and about an hour later one of the guests noticed some dials in the roof and saved the day by turning up the air. We were 1/2 late for our reservation (2 1/2 hours to get there) but ok with the restaurant. Had an awesome dinner. I called the driver and he was right there to pick us up. My wife and I stayed in the City and all of the guest headed back. My daughter called me one hour later and said that the driver decided to take the Lincoln tunnel back and was stuck in the tunnel. Half an hour later I looked to see where they were and they were next to LaGuardia airport, obviously he was lost going back to Milford. 3 hours later they arrived home. Hys had given me a quote and when I received the bill it was $230 more than the quote. Called the office and went back and forth for over a week with no explanation. This is the 2nd time that I have had problems with Hys and unfortunately they have lost my business and referrals.

Hy's offers a dependable, professional, smooth ride from the New Haven area to NYC airports. I appreciate the drivers' skill and courtesy. And booking is always easy. However, the prices have skyrocketed: as of 12/30/2021, a one-way trip to JFK costs nearly $400. That's nearly twice the pre-pandemic rate. New fees are added on: a tip is built in (OK--that's as it should be). Toll fees are nearly $40 (I guess so...). An "STC" fee "Standard Transportation Cost"??) is nearly $60. And now, an "early/late fee" is tacked on--for rides before 8 a.m. or after 5 p.m., you're charged $49. Starting 2022, I'm going to have to find another way to JFK when I fly. I can't stand the idea that my ground transportation to the airport costs as much as a RT flight to the west coast.

I'm a bit torn about this as the positives of Hy's are: * Totally on time * Reliable service to the airport from New Haven * Very nicely appointed vehicles with free water and candy But the BIG negative is that there is a significant difference between what is quoted and what you pay. For example, the online quote from my home in New Haven was $139* one/way but what I actually paid was $193.43. The asterisk makes all the difference, as the online quote doesn't include tolls ($16.75), automatic gratuity ($20.85), "STC charge" ($16.68), early/late fee ($21.00) -- or the 15% institutional discount. So just be aware that the there is a significant variation from the quote and what you pay. I wish they'd fix the online quotes because they can predict some of the extra charges (at least the automatic gratuity and the early/late fee and the tolls). It's not that I'm unhappy with paying $190 -- that's around the standard charge for a car service. I'd give them four or five stars for the service if they had quoted me $190 from the beginning, but I don't like being quoted one figure and asked to pay a significantly higher one later.

Truly reckless driving. One of their drivers basically ran me off the road tonight in the middle of New Haven. Had I not slammed on the brakes I would have been pushed into the lane of parked cars when he came into my lane and continued to barrel down Temple Street right the middle of a two lane street. He continued riding the middle line of a two lane road all the way from Grove Street to Elm Street. Not exactly the sort of driver or company I'd be trusting my special event to. UPDATE as of 10/1/2018 - have been contact many times by a manager for the company who worked to find out who the driver was, and to make sure the person was reprimanded. So I give them high marks for customer service and caring about their reputation. Hopefully something like this won't happen again.

Flew into LGA from TPA and got car service into Stamford for a family gathering. Chowdhury sent me texts to keep me updated as to his location and I was able to find him easily. When we met, he immediately helped me with my bags. I knew instantly I would be in great hands. He navigated through city traffic into Connecticut with ease and his driving was very safe and comfortable. The conversation was lovely and he was a very kind and genuine individual. I would recommend this company to anyone and to ask specifically for Chowdhury!!

I've used Hy's dozens of times to get to and from the airport and an occasional event. The customer service on the phone is friendly. I get an email confirmation right away. They usually arrive 15 minutes early and we get to our destination with time to spare. This isn't the cheapest option in the area, but the vehicles and service are top notch. I think it is worth paying a tad more and not worrying about missing your flight or getting from one place to another. I tried another company in Fairfield and it was a disaster. Hy's is incredibly reliable.

After trying several options (other car companies, shuttles, Uber and lift...) getting from JFK airport and Bradley in Hartford this year I was glad to find Hy's. They have always been on time even when the airlines is not and I have felt safe while they drive.

We did a fair amount of research and asking around before choosing Hy's. We've now used them for 2 round trips to JFK for vacation flights and our daughter's wedding without a hitch. Everyone from the reservation staff to the drivers have been professional, courteous and efficient. They follow-up with a reminder e-mail and text message before each leg of the trip as well as a text message on the trip day with your driver's name and phone number. And the drivers have always showed up on time.

The best and most professional driving service I have EVER used! Within one week (including New Years Day) I had three different drivers in three different vehicles. The drivers were amazing, the vehicles immaculate, with water, newspapers, etc. On one of the trips to the airport the driver let me know we were coming to a shopping area and do I need to stop for anything!! I booked both by phone and online, both easy to use with no hidden charges. I'll never use another service again!

Our experience with Hy's limousine is coming as an experienced owner/operator in Los Angeles. We booked service for one of our clients in Greenwich, CT. We requested and were sent a confirmation for $183.43 for the services requested. Charged $219.08. This was for the first transfer. The second was for the return trip. Quoted $183.43 and charged $242.71. Their office staff apparently made an error on the price quoted and charged us a higher price based upon the vehicle type. If you are given a price as a client, it should be honored. Its good business. Internal errors happen all the time in every business, the public/client should not pay for those mistakes. As an owner/operator I will not patronize their services for our clients. Steve the office manager should take note "Penny wise and pound foolish."

Terrible customer service, mis-quoted prices, really unprofessional and I have used tons of car services, by far the worst I have seen I would recommend CT LIMO or anywhere but them, AVOID!!!

I am sick of dealing with rude people and wont give them my money!! I was in the process of making a reservation with a women, when she had given me a price slightly higher than I was originally told, which probably would have been fine but I had to check with the rest of the people paying. when I told her this, she said Rudely " so you want to cancel the reservation" I said yes, for now, I have to check if that price is ok AND she hung up on me! That is so incredibly unprofessional and just rude. When I called back to talk to a manger he told me I was wrong, she told him she got disconnected !!!!!!!! First of all when you get disconnected you don't hear the receiver of the phone smash the doc. I always respect a business that stands behind there employees but this was not the time! she was wrong and definitely lost you this customer and who knows how many more.

We hired Hy's limousine for a four day van job going out of town. They did a terrific job. We loved the chauffeur and the van! Each morning the van was on time, it was clean and the chauffeur was cheerful and knew where he was going. He went above and beyond and cleaned out the van each time we made a stop. He also provided some complimentary beverages and snacks. Highly recommend this company!

I have never used a car service for personal use, but a friend recommended Hy's for transport to and from JFK for a vacation trip out of the country. I am so glad I took her advice...using a door to door car service alleviated so much stress at the beginning and end of two long flights. The cars were impeccably clean and the drivers were on time, professional, and helpful with our baggage. It was a great decision to use Hy's and I highly recommend them.

I use them every vacation. They screw up somehthing every single time. But I still use them because they are down the road, have a large fleet and I can trust that they will "Be there for Me".

I have always had great experiences here - it's a premium service and I have always found the drivers to be polite, timely, reliable, and professional

I have used them for 17 years. Loved them until the last two years when it has become clear that they have sacrificed quality for profit. 1. Their customer service is rude. Even when there is a tape of the encounter, they will treat you like you could never be right. And it may take days and days to actually correct a bill. 2. Our last pickup was late because the driver could not find the address. They had picked us up at that address over a dozen times. 3. You may or may not get an email confirmation for your travel. You may have to call to have it sent even after it is promised. 4. Water may be in your car. But don't count on it. Apparently the driver gets two small bottles at the beginning of the day and if someone drinks it early in the day, it is your loss. (UBER does better than his!) 5. On several occasions, the bill has been larger than estimated. But never more so than on our last trip when it was 150% more!! (1240 compared with an estimate of 500). 6. Some of the drivers are awesome. Others will spend the ride telling you how bad Hy's is. I can assure you that I thought very differently until recently. But you can only take so many empty apologies.

I realize each person has his or her own experience, but after trying other companies, my family prefers to use Hy's Limo service to get our son to and from Yale. Usually he goes from Hartford's airport to New Haven, so maybe others have had less-than-positive experiences going to/from NYC airports? In our son's and our personal experiences, we've always been very impressed with our drivers. They are on time, drive well, and are professional and courteous. Most recently, our son went in and out of LaGuardia, and he said Hy's service was excellent as always. Generally, I prepay my tip, especially if it's for the group shuttle rate. My son usually will give a little extra, but he does let the driver know that tips were prepaid at the time of booking.

Don't believe their online "quick quotes." I put in Branford, CT - Newark Airport and got a round-trip estimate of $240. Since this was far lower than any others, I quickly called and quickly found out it would be $450! I eventually found out this rate was about par for the business, but I did not appreciate the deceptive lure.

My business host arranged pick up and drop off from JFK to New Haven using Hy's. Everything including tip was prepaid by the host. Trip to New Have was terrible. The driver was weaving in and out while eating, talking on the phone (not Bluetooth but the actual cell phone) and texting. I thought texting was still legal in CT only to find out that it was not. He chatted us up for an additional tip only to peel out when there was no additional tip - we were glad just to be alive and obviously did not want to tip additionally. Trip back to JFK was very professional. Definitely would not use Hy's again. Probably the only reason that we didn't crash was that the traffic was so bad that most of the time were going only 20-30 miles an hour. I would have rated 1 star but in all fairness the trip back was smooth and professional.

Since I wrote the previous review Steve at Hy's has done all he could to remedy the situation. He credited us our trip and has been very attentive. We used the credit to go on a subsequent trip and all was well. The driver was personable and on time; everyone had fun; and we had a safe and successful journey. Thank you Steve for all your hard work to make what was a bad situation into a good one.

An hour and 20 minutes late for airport pickup after a long day of travel. Poor customer service.

have been using them from 1976 till now requested driver for ny trip did not mind the inflated price sent me a replacement who I did not trust name sounds like should be in gutanamo if you know what I mean would not recommend will never use them again
