"I Gelati del Bondi isn't fancy, but its gelato is fresh, its interior is vibrant (a painted mural runs across the back wall), and, unlike other Florentine gelaterias, there are actual places to sit, both inside and out. There's also a full menu serving coffees, pizzas, and sandwiches. This shop is located near the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station and attracts an international crowd, but don't let that deter you from the salted caramel gelato, which always gets top marks. Other favorites include cheesecake, chai latte, and Oreo." - Bridget Arsenault

Great location along a beautiful main street with a couple outdoor tables just outside the store. Stopped here 3 times during my trip to Florence for wine and gelato while reading and watching the crowds pass by.

We did the gelato making course. It was a brilliant couple of hours. My three kids (9, 4, 4) had a great time and got really involved. Tulio was fantastic with them and very engaging. Plus the gelato was the best we had tasted during our stay!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We did the gelato experience today with Vetulio and he is nothing short of amazing. He’s great with kids, giving them a hands on experience making the best gelato I’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend this enough. A must try if you’re visiting Florence.

Probably the best gelato in Florence... TOP! ⭐️😋 They also have delicious italian food, like pasta and lasagna.😋 I especially love the crepe con fragole... Amazing! 😋 The best! The Bondi family is very friendly and welcoming.

Reasonably priced food and friendly service. No fuss atmosphere. Good range on the menu and food arrived very quickly after ordering. The salmon penne I ordered was very salty (which I found disappointing). My partner ordered the lasagne and was quite happy with it. Close to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (in English Florence Santa Maria Novella) station - under two minutes walk. Outside seating is available with plenty of seating inside.

Quick stop after dinner, very nice folks own this place, and it’s cool because they have a ‘fresco’ story painting of their own love story on the wall…wife says it’s a love story over 40 years old. Bravo…plus tasty espresso and cheesecake gelato.

The absolute best Gelato and the kindest people inside! So glad we found this true Florence gem, our family loved it every single night of our visit! Highly, highly recommend.

This is a take out gelato place. They have a few tables outside but those are mostly for people with small children who eat their gelato sitting down. All other patrons take their gelato "to go". Very large selection of gelato flavors and very well priced. This gelato place was down the street from our hotel, so we came here 3 times. My picollino (small) gelato was only $3EU which I thought was great - that's why we kept returning. The Limone was amazing, as was the Nocciola.
