Tacos tropical are a must, pretty much everything in the menu is tasty, last time the service was very slow (and the place wasn’t full) and the roof was leaking due to the rain, so they had to change our table they need to work on that. They have specials, ask for those off the menu options.

Delicious food!! We went on a Wednesday night for dinner. We had the reservation and got our table in the terrace area as soon as we reach there. The food we ordered was delicious and fulfilling. We ordered shrimps spring rolls, pork belly tacos and a dessert (Don’t remember the name). The service was fast and the servers were really nice and helpful. The whole ambience of the place is really nice and calming. Definitely going again and highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic night out and dinner at I Latina again. The place is eclectic and fun, the drinks are super well done, the bartenders know their stuff....Great selection of wines, too. The food was amazing: they had a special appetizers crab cake that was sooooo good, the tuna tacos were a highlight and so were the chicken (sous bide on grilled pineapple and salsas) and the Thai shrimp (the spices were ridiculously good). Our waitress was the nicest and sweetest person ever and so attentive and fast. Amazing service. All in all a fabulous experience, I can't wait to go back.

Happy with our experience here. Apparently, used to be a former auto repair shop. Even though we were absolutely the only American tourists in the packed dining room. There was no problem with communication. Try the shrimp tacos that use jícama as the shell. We had all three steaks on menu, the langoustines, and fresh ceviche. The lemon drink was a great way to start. Wine list is quite friendly to all tastes also. It's easy to see why this place was packed. DJ was setting up upon our departure...so you may plan your night accordingly.

Yelp
In Guadalajara, Mexico for a few days and got several suggestions from waiters that we needed to look hard at I Latina. We caught an Uber to a warehouse district and found a large metal sliding door across the front of a building with a small sign of I Latina. I would of driven right by the location. What was behind the door was 180 degrees from what is on the outside. Surprise, they had a large open setting with a cool vibe bar and several different seating zones. We sat in the covered patio area that was breezy. The train going by sounds like we were on the track. We ordered two appetizers, the spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce and tuna tacos with sauce. The spring rolls lack a real herb punch and were a bit bland. The tuna tacos were delicious with a real flavor blast from the sauce. One must try the tuna tacos. For dinner we ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. This was over sauce and appeared that the sauce was poured over the dish once assembled. It was definitely not a meal I would order again. The grilled shrimp with Thai spices and a small side salad was better. The vibe is very chill and a bit eclectic. The dishes were either hit or miss. I did not enjoy the chain smoker we were seated next to as that has not happened in years. A drink or appetizers here may be a good stop at I Latino. The decor and setting is enjoyable but the food falls short for me. They need to spend more time refining the dining entrees. I will not be returning but loved the builing.

Yelp
A hidden gem. Excellent service from Emanuel and a crew of other servers to make sure you are well taken care of. Will be back to try some other great cocktails and delicious food

Yelp
Restaurant was closed on Monday even though Yelp said it was opened. Not sure who to blame there, Restaurant or Yelp for having wrong hours. I will say it was down a VERY dark murder street. Thank God my Uber waited for me to add a new destination. I'll try it next time I'm in Guadalajara.

Yelp
This restaurant is amazing. It's a tad on the pricey said as far as Mexico goes but it's a tremendous experience and a feast for the senses; gastronomically as well as visually. They have valet as well so that makes it easy. Their wine list is immense. The decor is stunning and the service is top notch. I fine example of Guadalajara's cultural excellence.

Yelp
Great experience at I Latina. Fantastic mahi mahi, salmon, quesadilla and cocktails. Service was great too. DJ played great music. Only regret is that the server escorted us to the 33 piano bar next door when we expressed mild interest after our meal. It was anything but a mild mannered bar with drinks and a piano player. Was more of a dance club where we were frisked at the door. Never had that happen in Mexico. Band didn't start until midnight so we returned to I Latina for more cocktails. Stick with I Latina and ignore the terrible bar next door.

Yelp
Ambience is nice the service was good , the food not outstanding . Ordered the fresh spring rolls , and Charred Octopus dinner it did meet my flavor profile. The spring rolls were mediocre, my problem was with the barely charred Octopus, it was tough the mash potatoes help to digest. Wanted to give a better review.

Yelp
Came here with some teammates since it was right down the road from our Minerva office. I'm vegetarian so I was only expecting one dish which I'm ok with. To my surprise, this place turned out amazing. They made me alternate options and all food was top notch!! Even my non veg friends loved it all. The flavors of the food was amazing. A good fusion of Mexican/Italian/gourmet. The chef here knows is food. We had a ton of drinks, some good, some just ok. Desserts were very good and the service amazing. It's not a " cheap" place as far as Mexican standards but a really nice place to bring company or visitors to the area. The ambiance is eclectic and colorful and they even have valet out front. It's a must try in the Minerva area!

Yelp
This is my 2nd trip here in Guadalajara and my first time eating at this restaurant. The ambiance is nice and I heard that this restaurant use to be a warehouse. The owner bought it and made a very unique restaurant. The decors in the wall and paint are not matching. This made the restaurant very interesting! I cannot remember exactly what I had but everyone in the table was very happy with their food. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Hoping to visit this restaurant again in my next trip.

Yelp
Nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. We had tacos (the tuna was the best among the three types we tried!), steak, and dessert. All were good. They had black cod on a special menu which I would have ordered had I known it... only saw it on a wall when we were on our way out.

Yelp
This place is a hip/trendy restaurant with delicious food. I came here on a last minute date night and was very pleased with our experience. When we got there, there was a bit of a wait for a table. They seemed really busy for a weekday but even so the quality of the food and the customer service was fantastic! What we ordered: Carpaccio de Calabazitas (zucchini) baby back ribs (came with a side of fries) shrimp plate over mash potatoes (off the menu) Margarita de Tamarindo Local dark beer Also, they bring you this warm and delicious bread while you wait for your food. We are like three of them! This place can be a bit pricey but not crazy expensive. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I wish I had pictures. This place was amazing, we ordered everything by waiters recommendations, his name was Charlie. He was also an amazing mixologist! My liquor of choice in Jalisco is always tequila. I had 3 different drinks, could not pick a favorite because they were all amazing. My daughter had the same experience with gin as her base. Will go back next time we're in town. Everything from food to drinks was made with quality high end ingredients.

Yelp
We went there on a Tuesday night right when they just opened and it was not crowded at all. No wait is a plus but if you want more ambiance and people watching, you should try another night or later. Not much for people watching especially from sitting on the small area "upstairs". The food was excellent. I really enjoyed the seared tuna tacos and the tropical shrimp tacos. The hamburger was quite good. My boyfriend thought his short ribs were good but "nothing special". He however enjoyed his mojito and margarita. Our waiter and the staff were really. Overall, I liked the place and would come back... On another more happening night and sitting on the main level!

Yelp
Had a lovely dinner there. The waiting staff (Charlie) was extremely help in explaining the menu and specials. (There is an English menu, and Charlie speaks fluent English). I had the Octopus and the black cod with miso paste. The octopus, a regular main dish is a bit charred, but still tender. It comes with a pile of vegetable too. The black cod is the true star, cooked to the right tenderness and flavorful. Quantity and quality matches or exceeds (especially portion) most high end Japanese restaurants. The restaurant has very interesting decoration and set up, probably a warehouse in the past. By the ways, they open at 7p, not 730p.

Yelp
Delicious! One of my favorite restaurants in Guadalajara. Really, everything was amazing--drinks, appetizers, main course. The only thing that was slightly less than perfect was the mojito. It was the best mojito we'd had in Mexico, but that pales in comparison to Cuban mojitos (the secret is they use way more sugar than you think you ought to and they muddle the sugar with the mint for longer than you think you need to). We got there 20 minutes after they opened on a Sunday, and we were the first ones there! By the time we got our appetizer, 2 more parties had shown up and by the time we finished our meal, they were about a third full. The staff was great. We told them we were practicing our Spanish and they did a great job of speaking to us only in Spanish. Service was attentive without hovering (even though we were the only ones there for 20 minutes), polite and friendly. The ambiance is a seemingly odd mix between the decor, food, and music, but it somehow all works out.

Yelp
Started with the Green Day cocktail, super fresh and well balanced. The bread they wrap in the the jean linen was delicious. Our appetizer was great, Hugos De portobello. I had the octopus for dinner which was tender and a little crisp texture. I also ordered the ravioli with jamon. It was fire, cooked al dente!

Yelp
I am sure I will be in the minority here but was a bit of a disappointment. The mixed drink I ordered was a bit too sweet and really just seemed like good ingredients thrown into a concoction that just didn't work well. I ordered the Tropical tacos and the tuna appetizer, followed by the special of the evening, flank steak with potatoes and salad. I will keep it short. The jicama tacos were very very good. The tuna was blah and the steak just didn't have the best quality and taste. I almost went with the grilled octopus but changed my mind after the tuna. I should have gone with it. People love this place and i am sure they have great things, mine just weren't great.

Yelp
Pretty decent spot. It seemed like this restaurant was the place to be. Lots of people waiting to get a table. The fish tacos were really on point. The drinks were well made. The main entree I got was just ok. It was the the rice dish with beef and some type of Asian peanut sauce. It was a little too heavy on the peanut. I would come back.

Yelp
HAVE AGAIN: Delicious tacos, shrimp and rice, and the most wonderful ice cream with dark chocolate and coconut shavings!

Camila R.

Yelp
This place it's really good, I love the service and their different type of food really like the fusion As far as cocktail they have a lot of options

Jeff S.

Yelp
Went here by suggestions from our server at Posada Hilton. Karen was right. Great place. Mexican fusion. Shrimp tacos with pineapple Pico great appetizer. We had black cod and snapper both excellent. Try anything on the menu made with mezcal and you will love it. But whatever you do have the dehydrated bread with vanilla ice cream, vanilla cream, cheese cream, caramel, candied pecans and berries. The best. Sit at the bar!!!

Yelp
I had the lengua teriyaki, which was excellent. The tacones de atún and carpaccio de calabacitas were excellent as well. Dessert was a lemon something (I forget the name) and it was superb as well. Overall, the food and service were great. Would visit again.

Yelp
This trendy place is def one for the locales. The apps and drinks are great. The entrées were not that appealing to me but the sweets were a nice treat. Great service but remember to double check your bill before paying. Had an extra charge that needed to be corrected. Give it a try , you will not be disappointed ..
