Google
Such a cute and quaint place! Made a random stop here, since I was in the area, and there was a plethora of neat and unique things. The ladies behind the counter were really friendly too!

Google
My friends and I stopped in there after eating at the deli across the street. We had an amazing experience, There were two ladies that were working and they were both so friendly. My friends and I bought some kitschy items (stickers and t-shirts) and we asked them about some other things to check out in the area. One of them hand wrote about ten different places to check out. Customer service like this isn't common any more.

Google
The absolute cutest store with the best stuff! Totally eclectic. Very friendly. Local artists make most of what they sell. Love it. The cards cracked me up.

Google
Great spot to get original art pieces from the Minneapolis / St. Paul area! Very inclusive, and if you have any questions about the art work in the shop, they not only are educated on those specific pieces, but they have info about the artists and where else to find their art in the city. Great place for unique and personal gifts.

Google
This is a phenomenal place to pick up cards, gifts and t-shirts. It's local owned so much that the owner warmly greeted me at the door. I appreciate a local shop that provides an outlet for other local businesses and gifts that I can't find anywhere else.

Google
Cute little shop that has been here in the area for eight years now, they advance local arts and artists in a collective consignment. There is tons of high quality and brilliant decorative concepts and themes that can be explored at any time in here. Better yet if you want to balance that with your own ecclectic artistry and design. Check this place and community evolution out. Clearly it has been here for much of the burgeoning local arts and artist community that Near NE is becoming well known for. Arts expanding into food, wine, beer and distillates. Creates the combination of richness to justify the expansion of new community density housing. This place will do well and do well for our local artists and this community. I like you, I like you.

Google
A darling shop filled with local home goods like art, glassware, and pottery as well as many apparel choices from mittens and jewelry to hilarious and cute shirts. Also many options for self care like candles, soaps, etc.

Google
Out of town and stopped on our way out and found the cutest souvenirs all from local artists!! Thank you Lauren for your help and patience!

Yelp
Overpriced stuff made that will be tossed in a landfill! I used to be a huge fan, but they out priced themselves and started carrying less quality goods. So sad.

Yelp
I was on the hunt for a unique Secret Santa gift and wanted to support a small business. That's when I remembered driving past I Like You store, which is just around the corner from my house. The shop was filled with so many perfect gifts and goodies, many of them from local artists and all reasonably priced. The woman who checked me out was so sweet--she asked if any of the items were gifts, then carefully removed the price tags, placed everything in an adorable bag, and added a cute paper flower. I'm so glad I stopped by, and I'll definitely be returning for all my future gift needs!

Yelp
Such a cute and diverse shop! Great for little gifts or souvenirs and a lot of variety and focus on local artists.

Yelp
Cozy store with a wide range of innovative and creative gifts and wares. Staff are super friendly and helpful!

Yelp
Time to update the review now that the store and Johnson Ave NE are fully opened. A bright aqua building with many decorations brightens the street and corner with a patio and landscaping. Now bigger with a wider variety of spiritual and perhaps what we called new age products, i like you ,(they use all lower case), is a cool quirky choice for gifts and cards. The previous store may have had more daring cards, however you can carefully select and still find humorous with mildly profane, or not so mild, to give to understanding friends. Be cautious what you may select for your boss or in laws. There is the scent of incense and more essential oils and clothing to choose from.

Yelp
Popped in a few times here and there over the last few years, but my last visit was sub par to say the least. It seems there is just a bunch of bad vibes stirring around, in a place that used to bring joy with through its quirkiness. Maybe management has changed? Idk maybe it's because Mercury is in retrograde or something. Hopefully things change with the passing of the eclipse, because I want to like you.

Yelp
Love this place for unique home made Minnesota gifts! T-shirts, cards, mugs, glasses, pins, jewelry, cooking spices, cards, so much stuff to choose from. And their wrapping? Beyond precious! Purchase gifts here for your friends and family just so they will wrap it for you! Unique and fabulous! I could spend hours just looking around this shop! They have a great Instagram account highlighting all of their unique, fun items. They even have a shop in St. Paul too! If you have someone on your shopping list that is hard to buy for you will find something for them here! Probably a bunch of things! Go check them out!

Yelp
This store is one of my go-to places for fun and unique gifts. I'm always able to find something special. They've got a great selection of stickers and greeting cards, plus tons of locally made items.

Yelp
Bomb Ass Store!!! Tons of amazing Minnesota gear and art work! We bought a good collection of shirts and art work today and highly recommend bring people from out of town here or hell even people that live here!!! Great vibe and friendly staff! Exceeded my expectations when coming to Minnesota stuff as if anyone needs to know..I've got a crazy collection of cool MN stuff! Most nobody has and I was in my happy place! If you need to find a unique gift for someone, this place is where I'd go!

Yelp
What a lovely local shop! I checked it out with my friend, who was looking for a few birthday gifts for her cousins and supervisor. It's certainly quirky, charming, and has a lot of local and unique items to offer. One such item that I enjoyed was a card that states "I'm suffering an extreme case of not being Beyoncé", which made me laugh out loud. Upon noticing this card, I then glanced through their vast selection of cards, which includes cards for birthdays, thank you, or general use. One thing I appreciated finding was essential oils, as I tend to use these for self-case. I purchased two, grapefruit and lemongrass. They were well priced at $5 each and since I only use 1-2 drops each time, they will certainly last a while. One thing to know about the store is that the main entrance is stairs only, which unfortunately makes it inaccessible for some humans.

Yelp
This is honestly the cutest little shop in the north loop. I have been coming to the store for years and can't believe I have never written a review before now. On my most recent trip to Minneapolis I stopped in to find a birthday gift for a friend. I Like You is not a huge store but they have everything you could possibly need if you are looking for a gift. Everything in the stores locally made and it should be noted that the prices reflect that. Your browse through clothing, jewelry, household goods, cards, basically anything. Most of the time I come I spend at least 30 minutes browsing the small store and typically always leave with something. Staff are always extremely helpful and very friendly... Minnesota nice! Of course there is the iconic I like you painting outside that every tourist and local needs their photo in front of. Stop in and find the perfect gift or treat yourself!

Yelp
If I'm in the market for local artist/MN themed gifts, my first stop is always I Like You. From kitchen to apparel, they've got you covered. The friendliest staff are ready to help and recommend gifts to meet your needs. The shop is cozy and just fun to browse around. Great selection of local art and jewelry are also well stocked. One of my favorite gift shops in the Cities.

Yelp
What a cute little place to get some locally-made and Minnesota-specific items! If you're looking for a local shop for jewelry, holiday cards, or stocking stuffers, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. They have a lot of Minnesota-themed glasses, t-shirts, stickers, and more. I actually got a wooden Minnesota ornament for my holiday tree, which is cute and well-made. They also have a lot of funny birthday cards, stickers, magnets, and t-shirts which I believe would be popular with teens and college people (or at least I would have loved in back when I was a young person). I'm not a jewelry person but it looks like they have a nice selection. The employees were super nice and helpful to the patrons shopping. Prices seemed reasonable as well. I feel great supporting this local business. I'm glad I got some nice ornaments and cards for the holidays.

Yelp
I wish "I Like You" would have existed when I was traveling abroad a bunch and was looking for great gifts to rep Minnesota. It's an amalgamation of genuinely cool, locally made things that don't necessarily scream Midwest along with Twin Cities-centric clothing and other items. There were so many kitschy things that I'd have happily taken home, but I'm trying not to be a hoarder. They made it especially hard since everything is priced reasonably. So we settled for a jar of local honey that my Husband says has so far been one of his favorites.

Yelp
Very fun little shop. As others have said, it does kind of seem like Esty threw up here, but in a passive aggressive most Minnesota Nice way possible. This is a great place if you are looking for anything Minnesota themed -- for guests, visitors from out of town or friends/family who have moved away. I was delighted to find several items from area artists that I recognized from Craftravaganza and other local craft shows that I enjoy frequenting. Beer glasses, posters, keychains, wallets, apparel, ... you name it, they've got it. Tons of fun trinkets or gift items in all kinds of price ranges to accommodate your Minnesota gift-giving needs. I also absolutely had a blast browsing the huge wall of cards. I LOVE finding unique cards that are not your cookie cutter Hallmark variety, and this shop has a ton of them. Birthday cards, anniversary cards, feel better cards and cards that use obscenities freely. I absolutely loved it and bought several. This is the type of store where it pays to spend some time since there are things tucked away in drawers and nooks and crannies. Take your time to look around and investigate and you may find some hidden gems. A definite fun store to visit. Prices were pretty reasonable and bonus for the cool store dog! The ladies who staffed the store were delightfully helpful and fun. Will be back!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Great gifts for me and friends! Gift yourself! You are worth it!

Yelp
"I Like You" is a freaking adorable and hip gift shop full of treats from local artists. It's a great place to head to when you want Midwest-centric gifts for out-of-towners and fellow Twin Citians alike. Let's see, upon my last visit I saw: rad pins, cards, spices, pottery, T-shirts, jewelry, woodwork, printed decorations, children's clothes and toys, glassware, and assorted quirky art. It's one of those places where you don't just go to grab something, you get lost in staring at all of the handmade goodness. I often reflect on how talented the community is and how lazy and untalented I am. The staff is friendly and passionate too - no surprise there! But since I usually come here to curate a gift bag, I wish they had gift wrap, bags and tissue paper for sale. Some local chocolate and candies would be a great addition some day too!

Brendan M.

Yelp
Great place with a really fun selection for all your MSP needs. I visited their brick and mortar and then had another order shipped for a friend's birthday. They made a mistake in the shipping - wrong T-shirt - but when I called back they were so nice and sent me the correct shirt in 48 hours, with some swag in the envelope for the mistake. My friend loves his shirt and I got to keep the mistake T. Thanks folks!

Yelp
Awesome MN themed store that worked great for some cool and quirky Christmas gifts. They've got t-shirts, jewelry, soaps, candles, kitchen gear & so much more! Went here on the recommendation of some fellow NE peeps, and was not disappointed. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
You can find something for everyone in this awesome and very unique store. They have items specific to the area and Minnesota which makes it a great place to get unique souvenirs and take homes while visiting. If you have a baby shower or party to go to they have the most perfect gifts. Think ornaments to soap to T-shirt's to jewelry with authentic items like bbq sauce and cutting boards mixed in. I loved it!

Yelp
What an awesome shop! The decor in the window grabbed my attention and the friendly service solidified this five-star review. This is an adorable shop with a lot - let me say that again... a lot to look at and consider taking home! You will smile at a number of the cute things and laugh at others. Awesome place for unique gifts.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this shop finding my way to the Vegan butcher shop next door. The 'famous' I LIKE YOU wall is a must-stop photo op for a shutter bug like myself so of course I felt obligated to go in. Luckily, my first visit was not on a time crunch and I was not with my small kids in tow. A very fun, spunky, claustrophobic gift shop with all the cool things even in-state people want. Dangle things in the windows, rocker-tees with fun MN sayings, jewelry to die for and little nick-nacks. The kind of store that you can lose a whole day in because there are tons of little things to explore. The staff are coy and friendly, fresh cookies served on the counter, and recently a new child-nook in the back corner for kids to play while you browse! Mostly non-edibles, you'll find cards, art, plants, toys and other fun items. Though the prices are a little high-end, so is the quality. I also believe most of the inventory is supplemented by local artists? If you like ETSY - you must shop here.
google avatar

Yelp
Please shop here and spend your money locally! This place shares my MN love and appreciation. I kinda think the name should be I love You!. You can find just about anything representing Minnesota, Minneapolis or St. Paul. Local artists have their craft of choice on display for sale. So, you are also giving back to the community by purchasing. I usually go here to pick up a gift for someone, yet walk out with a few things for me! Plan to spend an hour searching, reading, touching, oohing and awwwing over the options. The staff here are so friendly and often have ideas if you're stumped. Enjoy!
google avatar

Allison W.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite shops in the twin cities - and my go to stop when I need to find a gift as I know I will always be able to find something. The shop is filled with items designed/created by local artists - and (in my personal opinion) most items are extremely reasonably priced. Many items they carry have MN themes to them and they have a wide array of screen print art, glassware, jewelry, apparel (mostly t-shirts) and home decor. They also have a section dedicated to baby/kids gifts. Many of the items are under $20-30 as well. The staff has always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the artists/makers of the items they carry in store. They have recently made it even easier to shop - as they now have a St. Paul location and a location at the Mall of America. There is no parking lot - but plenty of metered parking nearby.

Yelp
It looks like Etsy threw up all over this store and didn't clean it up. I love it. This is exactly the kind of place that helped make Minneapolis the new home of the American Craft Council (they are moving in July from NYC because Minneapolis is craftier... and cheaper!). The sunny, open store is as homegrown as can be, and in one of the most creative parts of town (in the same block as a bank of art studios, Fox Tax Gallery, Red Stag). They told me that their Patina/Bibelot-like merchandise is almost exclusively local and one of a kind or very limited edition. Especially with Shoppe Local gone in the Heidi's fire (at least temporarily), this is the best place to shop for local crafts, stationary, gifts, art, baby clothes, jewelry and other knickknacks. Ooh, and the mittens. I love those Midwest Mittens---made in Winona using recycled sweater scraps. I Like You! is adorable-squared.
google avatar

Yelp
Dear "I Like You", I still love you. You're there whenever I need a gift, whenever I'm feeling blue, whenever I need a little love in my life. Thanks for being there. Love (not like) Sarah

Yelp
It's "gray duck," and I'm not going to argue with anyone who disagrees. I travel occasionally to other states for work and pleasure, so when I leave Minnesota, I like to represent to the fullest extent! And I don't think there's a better place to get your gear other than this gift shop located in Northeast. I Like You is bigger than it seems on the outside, and it's filled with cutesy knick-knacks, sarcastic greeting cards, as well as some themed t-shirts only Minnesotans would understand. I perused through their ceiling tall collection of tees, and decided to buy my girlfriend a black one with the words"Meow-nisota" underneath a hybrid cat/ Minnesota design on it. Of course, I had to get something for myself, so I purchased the Gray Duck tee. Prices for the tees were about average ($24ish). If you love supporting local and all things Minnesotan, make a visit ASAP!
google avatar

Nancy H.

Yelp
Fun, funny, cool Mpls gift shop! Cards, jewelry, MN kitch with heart! Good place to stop in for gifts and inventory changes so be sure to return to see what else is available! Prices are pretty decent overall. Street parking is free if you can walk a block west of the store!
google avatar

Alexandra H.

Yelp
Dear I Like You, I Love You. Your collection of local souvenir-y goods makes me proud to be a Minnesotan (not that I wasn't before). I love all of the artsy cards, postcards, jewelry, t-shirts & posters you have SO MUCH that I think I'm going to become one of those "just because" gifters so I have an excuse to frequent your store. Keep on keepin' on. You're awesome. Yours, Alex P.S. An 'FYI' for those who've never been: Credit/debit card purchases must be at least $15.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best little gift shops - anywhere - ever. Wishy and Corey (spelling) both greeted me with playful enthusiasm. Not only did I find a little bit of this and a little bit of that, when I wanted to buy a larger quantity of a specific item, the "I Like You" coasters, Wishy called their second store (did you know they have t w o?!) in St Paul. In eighteen minutes I had all the gifts I needed. Beautifully gift wrapped. These folks treated me beautifully and made me feel like a confident giver. I like you I like you too Both great and wonderful stores.
google avatar

Kirsten E.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this boutique. They have quite a kitchee selection to choose from. They are many plays on the word Minnesota and would be perfect gift for those who come from out of state. I would recommend for anyone in the area to check this place out as it is a hidden gem within the city. The staff is both friendly and helpful and goes out of their way to make sure your needs are met. A definite must see!
google avatar

Becca G.

Yelp
This is a fun store all around! I enjoy popping in every few months or so to see what new items they're carrying. Do you have someone who is difficult to buy gifts for? Are you a local-buying-devotee? Want some zippy MN-themed tees? I Like You will have you covered (ESPECIALLY covered if you buy a tee). They've got locally-made organic spice blends from MN Nice Spice, kids & adult clothing, DEEEELIGHTFUL fridge magnets, handmade mugs, cards, prints, hair adornments, locally made jewelry, make-up, body care products, and so much more. The layout and decor of I Like You feels more like being in someone's home rather than in a retail store. The staff is friendly and upbeat; majority of the products are one-of-a-kind; and how can you not feel great by shopping in a store with this kind of a name?
google avatar

Howie K.

Yelp
FYI for any reader, literally anyone, who didn't grow up in the Twin Cities: you're right, it's Goose. As in Duck Duck Goose, that strangely anxiety-laden game of sit-and-pursue you played in gym class when you were eight years old. Throughout the rest of the country (and quite likely the world) it's Duck Duck Goose. In Minnesota, it's Duck Duck Gray Duck. Which explains the t-shirt here, which simply reads "Gray Duck". Don't ask, just... no. In the end, Minnesotans don't take much logic into account when they express regional pride. They all got behind Brett Favre, after all. Blasphemy. Every city has a great t-shirt shop, and I Like You is absolutely that shop in the Cities. Me, I stuck with the Prince-otaur tee, and the drawing of Kirby Pucket punching a T-Rex. Trust me, best shirts, and baby clothing, in the 612. And there's endless eye candy in the place, my ears aren't pierced but I stared at the hand-made earrings, great jewelry. Oh goodness, the gift card selection, marvelous. It's all priced to support the artists, keeping the cash in the local economy, meaning it's on the stiffer side but still affordable. And yeah, as Jonathan states, it's way bigger on the inside than it appears. There's also a Hot Dish shirt.
google avatar

Mike E.

Yelp
My primary frustration here lies in the prices - it just felt a little over the top. A very basic poster for $35? A set of 6 coasters for $30? A 8x10" simple print for $18? Perhaps I have done far too much shopping at Ikea and Target [insert contempt from the artsey Yelpsters here], because it would have been too much of a reach for me to buy something here. However, if there's a woman in my life in need of a gift, I probably will come back to check out the jewelry. But when it comes to shopping for men, I don't see enough appeal to justify spending $30-$40 for a simple gift. Perhaps I will be proven wrong in future visits...
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
This place is like a brick and mortar etsy! They really just have such a wide variety - you name it they've probably got it. Cards, artwork, jewelry, clothing, beauty items, kitchen wares, hula hoops, dog leashes, etc. It is a must to take your time and take a couple passes around the store. I kept noticing new things after a couple laps. I bought some pretty barrettes with some glass squares on them. They have a swing at the front of the store, which was a fun touch. I also love the "carpet" - grass/astro-turf type stuff! I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a fun gift for someone.
google avatar

Shannen B.

Yelp
I've been here 2 times, but I've never actually bought anything because I can never make up my mind on what to get. I would buy all the greeting cards, honestly. What I love the most about this place is the I Like You wall though :)
google avatar

Arazue F.

Yelp
I like this place! This shop is full of things from local artists and anything MN related. They have really cute postcards and greeting cards, homemade soap, kitchen stuff, loads of super cool locally made jewelry, and my favorite, Minnesota pride t-shirts. Staff is really friendly and helpful, and I looove the turf green floor. I'm a huge fan of stud earrings and they have so many cute ones with flowers and buttons. I have no self control and end up buying a new pair of earrings every time I go back (I just can't help myself!) This was the perfect store to find a gift for a friend who was moving away from the wonderful state of MN. I agree with Alex H. that this is a great spot for "just because" gifts. Be prepared to spend lots of time in I Like You! There's so much to browse through and look at. Last time I went, every time I tried leaving the store there was always something else that caught my eye which delayed my departure by another 15 minutes (and probably shrunk my wallet too).
google avatar

Bethany R.

Yelp
This shop always makes me smile. Their tee shirts are always a big hit, and I always manage to buy something on every trip that gets me compliments for months! It's also just a fantastic place to wander around and look at everything. I like I Like You!
google avatar

Britt B.

Yelp
A treasure trove of awesomely cute gifts! I like you? I LOVE YOU!!!! Super fun local arty-crafty stuff of all sorts. Screen printed posters, hair clips/headbands, jewelry, pottery, aprons, clothing, yarn, knitted hats, cards, hula hoops, books...the list goes on an on. I love that everything is created by local artists, and that the store owners take so much care in the layout of the store. Shop here to support local artists! And to find really unique gifts for friends or kids!
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
It was my lucky day when I found this store! Something for everyone here. You must really look at everything more than once. "How can I do this when I have kids with me?" No problem...there is a swing hanging in the store as well as a little play corner with toys. I found the best little framed picture of a felt hedgehog by local artist Marion Robison. I could have purchased all her pictures. Adorable! Cool jewelry, cards, clothing, kids/baby things, posters, housewares all made by local artists.
google avatar

Loren W.

Yelp
What a cute little gift shop beaming with Midwestern pride. Almost every handmade trinket here is dedicated to Minnesota and Wisconsin natives. On the other half of the store are local greeting cards for every occasion that are written to be the perfect amount of hilarious and offensive. In the back of the store are more items from local jewelers, local beauty product makers, and local T-shirts.
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
Goodness me, this place is nirvana. If you're looking for a super cute greeting card (for quite possibly any occasion), locally made gifts (think Minnesota-themed tshirts and hats/mittens and beer glasses and pins and the list goes on and on, natural soaps/lotions, jewelry, etc.), go here stat. Chances are, you'll marvel at the bevy of funky items you never knew you needed and walk out a happy camper. Tip: once you're done shopping, hit up Yoga Sol across the street for a relaxing, pay-what-you-can class.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
Great customer service!! I ordered a glass and the wrong was shipped to me. When I realized it was wrong, I emailed them that night and they sent me a replacement the next morning! I offered to send the wrong one back, but they let me keep it. Awesome customer service. Plus the glasses are great too! Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Rachelle N.

Yelp
OMG what a fun store!! The greeting cards alone are worth the visit! Im pretty sure they have a card for just about anything! I think I spent a good hour reading all the sassy, quirky, filthy mouthed greeting cards and laughing (probably WAY too loud!) thinking about how I wish I actually had the balls to send them to people. Oh wait! Ha! I bought few! I can hardly wait to send them! (Of course they will be reserved for the only 2 people who have proven to adore me & my secret sassy potty mouth moments!) They have a ton of fun drinking classes- we went home with a few. Along with quirky wall art/patches/magnets/buttons, they also have some sweet chopped up and redesigned clothing and a few adorable baby things to boot. It's definitely a store I will be visiting again- and probably often...pretty much any time I'm in a mood and need some good laughing time at all the ballsy stuff they carry!
google avatar

Jacob R.

Yelp
I love this store for its unique, locally made items. It's hard to stop in shopping for a gift because I want and need everything for myself....
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
My all-time favorite place to stop whenever I visit Minneapolis! Such cute products and I'm always greeted so kindly by the employees. And it's always a special treat when Angela or Sarah are working! The owners of the shop are part of what makes this place so special. Everything is so fun there, too! Even when I know I'm not able to spend the money, I still go to window shop all the artists new products. Always fun to visit
google avatar

Brittany A.

Yelp
I like you is great. They're full of unique gifts and they are my go-to for fun gifts for out of state friends and family. Minnesota pride runs throughout the store and they have a ton of handmade items. I'm always impressed by the selection of items they pack into their not massive space. Street parking can be a little difficult to find, but stick with it! They are also closed on Mondays, so plan ahead.
google avatar

Charles R.

Yelp
Great service every time I visit this great find in Minneapolis. I Like You very much. I think a visit is due real soon.

Yelp
I LOVE YOU, I LIKE YOU! I came here the other day to pick up a house warming gift. The folks even said they wanted a gift card to Home Depot or some other junk but I said, "No way! I'm going to I Like You! Kitchen towels for the win!" And so I did. In fact, this is pretty much my go-to place for gifts to people who have either just moved to MN/MPLS or moved away from MN/MPLS/midwest. Want a Tshirt that displays MN & WI as besties? How about a print of a favorite MPLS landmark? A locally made soap/make-up/hair clip/necklace? A locally made notebook made from recycled materials? Dude, go here! And bring your kids! (There are always small children here plus there is a nifty play corner for them!) And everyone is so happy and friendly and there's A SWING INSIDE! PS I really need to get back there and pick up a terrarium kit. That thing looked so darn rad.
