"Sushi Staple with Inventive Rolls A casual sushi mainstay, I Love Sushi has been a date go-to for as long as anyone can remember. Great for business lunches, too, thanks to long private booths that can hold a group or allow plenty of space to lay out paperwork, I Love Sushi can certainly win any award for “fun for everyone.” Then there are the inventive rolls, a list of more than 100. There are too many to remember what’s in what, but that’s ok—with names like Rock ‘n’ Roll, Kiss of Fire, and Bam Bam, reading the menu is half the fun."

This sushi place has an AYCE option; $25 @ lunch time. Rolls were delicious and fresh. The waiter and host recommended their top 3 rolls: 1. Kitchen sink; 2. Jackpot & 3. Flower. I tried the kitchen sink & jackpot which were really good. I would totally get the kitchen sink again! Will not be disappointed & I'm totally coming back.

Table for 12 and glad they were able to accommodate us. It's a pretty good size restaurant. There are no bar seats which was a bummer as we arrived early to dinner and we wanted a drink before our party arrived. We had 2 servers and one took care of one side and the other on the other side. Service was ok. They were both nice. Food: Spicy Tuna Roll 2 Item Bento Box- Teriyaki Beef & All Shrimp Tempura Washed down with a glass of wine The spicy tuna was fresh but I personally didn't like the sesame seeds. The Teri Beef was tender and good in flavor. I made a mistake with my order. I should have kept the shrimp and vegetable tempura instead of ordering all shrimp. My BF had the vegetable and shrimp Tempura and it came with 3 pieces and mine came with 4 shrimps which cost me additional $2.50. Overall, a great spot in Henderson.

Google
Amazing. Top 3 sushi restaurant I've ever visited and been to hundreds. Get the AYCE and let the server surprise you with different half rolls. Best soft shell crab appetizer. Sashimi salad was epic.

I lived in Las Vegas Vegas for a long time and this it the absolute best! Food quality, service, pricing, all above expectations. I live in Texas now and make sure ILS is visited when I’m in town.

Google
Great local spot with a huge menu selection. Now offers AYCE options as well. We went during weekday lunch, and it was not too busy. Very friendly staff and solid rolls.

Google
Some of the best sushi I have ever had! It was fresh, fast, and delicious! They have an expansive menu with the classic we all love and some of the most creative combinations I’ve seen!! Definitely have an order of Sexy Time Special! The staff is awesome, and they do a great job with an odd space.

Google
I start with the House Salad, Green Tea at the Sushi Bar. Compliments of the chef, cucumber salad & edamame. Peppered Tuna, Salmon Avo Pesto, Uni, Tako Salad, my favs got low carb/no rice. I've had many rolls, even the baked & fried everything had been great! The Bulgogi is not a fav tho. Tasty flavors of it wasn't so greasy. I still give them 5 stars cuz 99% had been A+ in the last decade.

Google
Food and service has gone down hill for some time. Specifically the service. Unfortunately tonight will be by last time eating at I Love Sushi after 8 yrs. My dinner order just never came and our server never checked on our table so how would she know as I watched my wife and daughter eat their mushy sushi rolls and my son his bento box that was cold. Sad, we used to love this place.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance are all A+ overall! Love the sushi rolls, very creative menu and all the rolls that we ordered were spectacular! The fish is really fresh! Service: The manager/owner John was great! Very accommodating and nice! John took good care of our group. He checked on us multiple times, which made our visit pleasant! Ambiance: The indoor decor is cozy and authentic, felt like I was in Japan streets. The vibes are chill, everyone's have a good vibes and staff are friendly and funny! We will come back again for the food and service!

Yelp
Another establishment pretending to be Japanese. As a Japanese person, I was offended that their servers are wearing kimono in such a sloppy and incorrect way. The way the collars are worn is how a corpse is dressed. Some people were wearing bath robes. Worse than costumes. The rice was terrible. Hard and flaky, cheap quality rice. I already knew it was going to be bad when I walked in (based on decor and how the kimono were worn) so I didn't even order the sushi. I got the saba and vegetable tempura. What came out almost made me choke. A HUGE ball of rice battered and deep fried, covered in sauce. I've never seen anything like it in my life and it was disgusting. At least the saba and tempura vegetables were edible. My mother in law's "teriyaki" chicken was dry and hard. Salad was covered in too much dressing. Miso soup was way too salty with the tiniest little pebbles of tofu. My husband's sushi came smothered in sauce so it just fell apart when picked up. There was nothing Japanese about this restaurant and I feel sad thinking that Americans are eating this and thinking it's Japanese. There's American style sushi (which I like), and then there's....this.

Yelp
This is my favorite sushi spot in Henderson so I was very happy to see they finally added AYCE to their menu. The price is $33.95 for adults and $16.95 for children. Almost everything is included, minus only a handful of things. My daughter was very happy to be able to get everything she wanted without having to settle on just one thing. The restaurant is great however very loud so don't go in expecting a quiet sit down dinner but as a parent it's great because the kids have fun and can enjoy not having to sit there quiet and bored. The food is always great, very fresh, great quality ingredients. However be patient if you go during a busy time, we waited about 15-20 minutes in between rounds. Our server was friendly just very slow. I would always recommend coming here as I have never had a bad experience, food quality is always on point and now with AYCE, price makes it even better!

Yelp
The service was slow and confused, they told us that they had recently become AYCE so that was why the menus were all over the place and disorganized. There were also a lot of exclusions to the AYCE menu that you don't find at other AYCE locations. As well, the waitress made sure to tell us that the fish they use for the AYCE is a lower quality fish than they use for customers who just order a la carte. For the most part the rolls and everything were tasty, except the nigiri, which definitely lacked in quality, especially the mackerel, which was foul and still had skin on it. They also give you a 90 minute time limit, which was enough for us to order just twice since the service was so slow. They definitely need to improve the AYCE experience. As far as vibe, the place looks really nice and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
google avatar

Caroline L.

Yelp
They have AYCE Sushi here! Which we did not get this time since we were moderately hungry. This place is giant with lots of seating, and I love the Japanese themed decor inside, such a vibe! There is a wide selection of sushi to choose from that it's overwhelming. They've also got the rice and katsu plates along with ramen. I highly recommend the Flower Roll, Tuna, Albacore, and the other a la carte rolls not included in AYCE. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the selections. Everything is pretty fresh!
google avatar

Mely S.

Yelp
The service and the ambiance were great. We were promptly served and our waitress made a few suggestions. The sushi was tasty and fresh, my inly complain is that they weren't rolled super tight; they kept falling apart. The spicy edamame was delicious I would definitely come back next time im in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Been there twice - service was bad both times and the menu is too much. I wanted to like this restaurant but doesn't look like I will.

Yelp
I've been coming to this family owned restaurant for the last 16 years. They never fail to disappoint. The food and Sushi here is excellent. Great portion sizes and the food is always fresh and flavorful. The dining area and bar is very spacious. They also have nice size booths that accommodate larger groups as well. The waiters are dressed in traditional Japanese attire. Great customer service. They are all very personable and friendly including the sushi chefs! Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Japanese food and delicious and fresh Sushi.

Yelp
6/19/24 I was told that I Love Sushi has yummy rolls, and after eating here tonight, I agree. Today, we ordered Salmon Kama, Miso Soup, Salmon nigiri, Japanese Lasagne, and a Monkey Roll. First to come out was actually a complimentary edamame, it was the right amount of salty! Next to come out was the Miso Soup, and it was a bit more on the funkier, stock-ier side. The Monkey Roll and Japanese Lasagne came out next. The Monkey Roll was so good! It was huge though, but there wasn't too much cream cheese, the flakes were a good touch of crunchiness, and the mango was a ~sweet~ touch. The Japanese Lasagne had a little bit too much cream cheese, but it was also on the sweeter side. Overall, I enjoyed this first visit with food to fulfill my sushi craving, good service, and a cute environment, and I look forward to returning to try more rolls. I did want to try the Irish and Sunset Rolls (2 of 6 new rolls off the menu), but those will be something to hopefully look forward to next time. 6/20/24 Yes, you're reading that right... I went here twice in 24 hours because this place is so good it left me wanting more! Also, we forgot to take pictures during this visit because we were just so excited to eat. Today, we started off with complimentary edamame, a perfect Miso Soup, Salmon Kama again, and a yummy Calamari Tempura. For nigiri, we got salmon and tuna, and we love the nigiri because of the perfect plump ratio of rice to fish. Because we did AYCE today, we were able to order half rolls, so now was my opportunity to order the rolls I wanted to get yesterday! We ordered a Mexican Roll, and it was good -- essentially just a spicy California Roll. We ordered an Irish Roll, and it was very sweet and juicy -- still good but were probably the rolls that were heaviest on our stomachs. We got a Ryan's Special, and it was probably the second heaviest roll but with less sweetness and more crunch than the Irish Roll. Lastly, our favorite roll today was the Sunset Roll! It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and I will hopefully be ordering this again in the future. Something to note: the rolls tend to be very big, so ordering half rolls was perfect to try multiple things. Based on our visits so far, I'd rank my favorite rolls as the following: 1) Sunset Roll 2) Monkey Roll 3) Ryan's Special 4) Irish Roll 5) Mexican Roll 6) Japanese Lasagne

Yelp
Best sushi in Las Vegas. Premiu quality fish. It melts in your mouth. Fresh grated wasabi. Jason is our favorite chef. If you're in Vegas and want sushi you must go here. 1/3rd the price of the strip and better quality.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
So.. I've decided this place is still good in person (terrible on delivery or pickup). The food today was very good. Fresh fish. Great quality. The bento was huge for the $18 price. They now offer all you can eat, which I haven't seen in the past ($34 for dinner). The service was quick and solid. The restaurant is still well taken care of. I would go back in person.
google avatar

Vic A.

Yelp
The sushi has always been good here with a large selection of rolls to choose from. The service is always good. Fast and prompt as well. This place always seems to be busy to try calling ahead when possible. The ambiance is cool. Very spacious with plenty of room for seating. I wish the menu showed they had an all You can eat option cause I ordered my rolls individually, and then seem a sign on the way out saying they have that option. They need to write that on the menu.
google avatar

Helen O.

Yelp
Love the quality! We usually get the scallop and salmon rolls to go. The fresh wasabi is amazing! The AYCE dies not include much of the items I would get so I'm happy to just go ala cart.

Yelp
Shocked I'm writing this but the last two visits have been horrible. We've been regulars since the doors opened. I was nervous when the business first sold several years ago, but fortunately the food and service remained the same. But this past month it's changed for the worst. Last week my family went, and it took nearly 45 minutes to even get the first roll. No one came by to explain why and after we got the rolls, we wanted to order more, and our server said it would be another 45 minutes before it would come out. Apparently they were not prepared for the large number of people who came out to dinner. The restaurant wasn't even full. Last night we walked in and were told there was a 15-minute wait. We saw a few tables, but they needed to be bussed. We saw some of our friends who were sitting waiting for their food. As we were talking to them, they said they had been waiting for over an hour. Seriously? The staff didn't learn last week? After talking with them, we left, because who wants to go through the same thing they went through the week before. We went to another sushi restaurant down the street which we have tried a couple of times and may soon become weekly regulars there.

Yelp
I wanted to meet my parents for lunch and sushi was on my mind. If you've read my reviews on other sushi places, I say that it's always hard to choose just one favorite sushi spot here in town. I've heard of this place before but never tried them out until recently. And they have some excellent sushi! I'm very happy that I got to try them out! We walked in and we were greeted instantly, with the guy wishing us a happy new year and a happy holiday. Because it wasn't busy at all, we were seated right away and we were given two different menus. So many sushi options to choose from! After coming here, I finally learned the true meaning of your eyes being bigger than your stomach, because I ordered two different sushi items for myself and could only finish one (I ended up taking the other home with me). I ordered the Grand Canyon Roll and the Rainbow Roll, my mom ordered the Monkey Roll, and my dad just stuck with pan seared gyoza. The Rainbow Roll was abundant and tasty. It was so good that I finished the entire thing. I got too full afterwards and took my Grand Canyon Roll back with me, where I ended up having it for dinner later that night. My mom said that the Monkey Roll was delicious and my dad said that the gyoza was excellent. My mom also ordered a melon creamy soda, in which she gave me to me when we left the restaurant. The flavor was great, but at the same time it contains large amounts of sugar, which I tend to avoid. Overall, great sushi place! I'd definitely want to come back again in the near future.

Yelp
It took a very long time to be seated . The website had no mention of making a reservation and staff didn't communicate how long the wait would really take . Finally was seated after 50 minute wait (I was told 15 min ). The sushi was excellent and fast . We loved everything we ordered . I will return .

Yelp
On this night, I Love Sushi did not meet my expectations. I brought 12 relatives from Asia to our favorite sushi restaurant that failed to meet our normal standards. I could easily bring them any venue on the strip but on this night I wanted the best Japanese and they brought out under cooked rice that is a big no-no to any asian culture. This set a poor first impression. Not sure what happened but we complained and was told all the rice comes from the same cooker. No improved replacement, resolution, or compensation was offered.... Just the same rice. Our receipt for 16 people (including my family) was $597 after gratuity. I wish I gave this business to Hiroba Shushi on Eastern. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here on a Tuesday night. We were able to be sat right away. The sushi here is delicious and fresh tasting. My boyfriend has been coming here for years and they just recently added ayce to their menu. Their ayce doesn't include sashimi or any of the more specialty items. Many other ayce joints do limit 1 per person of more expensive items. They have so many rolls to choose from and I love that they do half rolls. Everything was great and the restaurant is cute! Some of the servers are dressed in kimonos which is so cute!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Delicious! I had the lunch special with teriyaki salmon and chicken katsu. Very affordable and great portions for a lunch special. I wanted a beer, but didn't get one today. Service was great and I will be back! The sushi rolls looked amazing!!
google avatar

Mishel D.

Yelp
While staying on the strip a friend of mine who is a local recommended this place. It's $26 for ayce for lunch with you a few exceptions. Portions are huge, rolls are extremely generous. And everything was tasty and fresh too.

JandJ W.

Yelp
We have been going to I love sushi for 20 years. It used to be our favorite place in the valley. The fish quality was amazing. I think it has a new owner and they changed to AYCE. The fish quality has dropped a lot. I have been two times since it went to the AYCE menu. We didn't even do the AYCE menu because our favorites dishes aren't on it. Flower roll, screaming O and the salmon lover. They all tasted fishy both times. We won't be going back after 20 years of going 6-8 times a year. I feel like I am morning the loss of a good friend. Hopefully, they return to what made them successful. Bring back the quality fish and get rid of the AYCE.
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
The food was wonderful as was the service! My husband used to frequent this place years ago when he lived in Vegas, and wanted to go back when we were there for a visit. He said it was as good as he remembered. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Krystal T.

Yelp
Haven't been to I love sushi in a while. They do all you can eat now and they require everyone at the table to also eat ayce. Which is understandable. If you get ayce they have rules, you can't get crab on your cucumber salad, you can't have uni among other things. I was with my family of 4 and I truly didn't want ayce so I said I'll sit at the bar, also in case you come alone, there is no ayce at the bar. So I sat at the bar with my monkey roll and few other rolls. The service wasn't as good at the bar, even though they were not as busy. But I was alone so it's fine I suppose.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Great food and service every time! We take friends and family here, best sushi off the strip and I enjoy the atmosphere it reminds me of some spots I liked when I lived in Chicago
google avatar

Monet C.

Yelp
They make good sushi. The sushi is fresh and the service is good. It's a trust-worthy place to dine. There is not many good sushi places in Las Vegas but this is a good one

Jaxson H.

Yelp
OMG this place is are go to now. I love this place. The food is good. The Ambiance is amazing. Finally, the service is great.
google avatar

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I LOVE I Love Sushi (even though saying that out loud sounds really weird ). I've been coming here for 20 years, and before this evening, I would have left a 5 star review for the hundreds of meals that I've absolutely savored here over the years (in fact, I already have). I hesitated to even post this because I love the place so much, but the owner's response to an issue we witnessed left me really unsettled in a way that I felt I had to share. After a lovely--albeit slowly paced--dinner, we watched in horror as a busser (who was wearing gloves) cleared two tables of their dirty dishes, pulled a table rag from her apron to wipe one down, then reached into the "clean" side of her apron to grab fresh napkins for the table...all while wearing the same gloves!! We got up to leave, and I stopped the owner near the host stand and motioned for him to come to the side to chat where I could share the situation privately. He did not budge. I started to quietly tell him what we saw and he interjected impatiently "Are you the health department!?" I responded that I wasn't and finished telling what we saw. With neither shock nor commitment, he simply replied, "She's new, I'll tell her," and waived me off. I am still shocked and, frankly, quite torn. I still love the food, and the staff is generally excellent. But I'm kind of sickened to think that the person in charge doesn't seem to understand or care about cross-contamination, especially when the main aspect of the business is dealing with raw food. I can't say for certain that I'll stay away, but I also can't say for sure that I'll go back...‍
google avatar

Cassie V.

Yelp
Best Salmon Nigiri Ever! They're a good mouthful and had the perfect ratio of raw fish and rice. Ugh, need to go back just for that. Rolls are unmatched. And its a chill vibe. Not overly packed but a good amount of busy to build a night out ambience. Solid neighborhood restaurant. Plus, Army!
google avatar

Kiarra M.

Yelp
The spot. If you know you know. The Lisa hand roll is top tier. Ambiance is really nice as well. It can get packed so best to make a reservation or get in as early as you can.

Brenda K.

Yelp
I would give 0 starts if I could. Upon arriving we were told it would be a 15 min wait for the 3 of us. After waiting for over 30 minutes in an area which is clearly in the way we decided to leave. We let the hostess know and he says oh yeah sorry my boss gave your table away and crossed your name off the list. How unprofessional and disappointing.
google avatar

Leslie M.

Yelp
Great place to get your sushi fix. Fast and friendly service. Casual dining atmosphere. They have a good selection of sushi specialty rolls, sashimi or nigiri style sushi. Would highly recommend.
google avatar

Katrina J.

Yelp
Food is good service is just ridiculous. They made us order a certain way like sushi bar first and then hot food next. They told my friend they couldn't order because they didnt finish their food on the table yet. What a mess. Service is everything will never come back now
google avatar

Cyndy W.

Yelp
I am soooo happy we tried this place! The only bummer is that it's not close to us. We decided we would drive the distance to get the fresh, delicious sushi and sashimi that I Love Sushi offers. The restaurant is big and there is a sushi bar in the middle. We opted for a table and so glad we did because we ordered a sushi boat. The servers wear beautiful kimonos and are so helpful and friendly. There is Japanese music playing in the background and it's a really chill ambiance. Our sushi boat was sooooo good! We rarely get the boats, but the Vegas Boat had all that I was wanting. This boat does not have shrimp or pork on it which works out perfectly for me. Totally recommend I Love Sushi! So many choices and friendly servers to help out if you can't decide.
google avatar

Justyn M.

Yelp
We've been eating here for over 20 years and the food is always amazing. We had a fantastic sever tonight! He was engaging and fun Thank you Eddie!

Yelp
Came to I Love Sushi on a Wednesday about 5 pm. First time here, we sat at the sushi bar with no wait. At mid week it was moderately busy, a waiter was getting our drink order within a few minutes. We ordered directly from the chef and sushi was very fresh and flavorful. Chef service was prompt and attentive. By 630-700 the restaurant was full. The atmosphere is casual and moderate noise level. Would recommend for any first time, new to area sushi fix.

Ed E.

Yelp
And I do love sushi. Impressive, inexpensive menu with an all-you-can-option ($24 lunch / $33 dinner). I Love Sushi (ILS) is located in a slightly destressed shopping center, but don't let outward appearance put you off. The inside is great and the service is excellent This was my fourth visit their and found ILS to be very consistent. We ordered the Bam Bam (don't ask me what all was in it) ($18.50). Very large portions of fresh seafood with a combination of sauces. We also ordered Ryans Special ($17.50) and again fresh and abundant. I like to order my sushi roll with some fried texture in the middle--tempura or fried softshell crab with all the fresh seafood around it. We also ordered Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura ($8.95). It was excellent, not at all greasy--cooked perfectly. Total check was $55.76 without tip. Considering this was my fourth time in a month, I guarantee I will be back soon.

Yelp
Been coming here for the last two years since I've moved to Henderson. Always friendly staff and quick service. We always get some miso and edamame, and I regularly get the I Love Sushi roll. It's spicy tuna with tuna, tobiko, and green onion on top, garlic ponzu sauce on bottom. My faaavorite. Beer is always cold, also a few wines to choose from. They've got televisions in there if you decide to come and sit at the bar. There are also plenty of booth and table options as well. As you can see in the picture, I had a good time Will be coming back again, of course.

Maria M.

Yelp
If I could write ZERO I would. Horrible place. Server forgot water, orders took excessively long , we had all you can eat but many items not available. Steer away from this place, horrible experience and service.

Natalie M.

Yelp
The service was not it. Nobody checked up on us as we were eating, and the waiter gave us an attitude when we noticed that they charged us a la carte instead of all you can eat when he didn't ask us in the first place. Not coming here again.

Stefani I.

Yelp
LOVE it! It's my local spot, always good, and great service. It can get crowded on the weekends, however, always worth the wait. Enjoy!

Jenny M.

Yelp
Food is pretty good and average price point. Not my fav place but also not my least fav. Just a good average place no AYCE

Gabrielle M.

Yelp
My family and I went to I Love Sushi over a week ago and had such an infuriating experience that I needed to make it a point to leave a review. I grew up in Henderson so I've always gone to I Love Sushi on a regular basis. We have gone a total of 3 times in the last month or so where the service was mediocre at best. We have decided to do AYCE each time and this last time they decided that me, my husband, my 7 year old and ALMOST my 1 year old needed to do AYCE. Initially we had to talk them into not forcing our 1 year old to do it. Then after we tell her that our 7 year old is only going to be sharing katsu and rice with her younger sister, they still insisted she needed to do AYCE. Their 'all or nothing' policy is kind of ridiculous considering there are definitely exceptions to the rule. After that whole interaction we just decided that the experience was already ruined, so we left and went to Hiroba across the street (where the quality of fish is better anyway). After several escalating annoying experiences, we've decided we're done spending our money at this spot.

Yelp
First time here and I liked it. The bento box for lunch are good, the fresh sushi are amazing. The customer service was amazing. The sushi chefs are very good. We will be back for more.
google avatar

Jenny R.

Yelp
Good sushi and great service but took a couple stars away due to the lack of an AYCE option and lack of the ability to order half rolls. I was in a party of ten people and we all enjoyed our food but we would have really loved an AYCE sushi option. Ambiance was nice - clean tables and nice building. I live in the Northwest so I probably would not return due to distance, but if you're in Henderson and don't mind paying $12-$15 for each roll, I'd try it. Plus, they have more on the menu than just sushi that you could try.
google avatar

Lexa T.

Yelp
Food ridiculously amazing!! Staff super knowledgeable and friendly. Service was fast and also not that expensive compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. The whole thing was such a great experience
google avatar

Michele M.

Yelp
Food was served perfectly. Service was fun and present. Ambiance made you feel welcome.
google avatar

Elly F.

Yelp
Service was ok but the food was not great. I had some rolls and I decided to don't get much more.
google avatar

Derek B.

Yelp
Went here for date night with my wife to try something new. The atmosphere was great, traditional Japanese music and design gave off a great authentic feel. The service was outstanding and we loved the ladies in traditional kimonos. The sushi was great. The fish was very fresh and they don't skimp you on portions, or try to pack rice on there to fill you up. Our last roll was the Volcano, and I can describe how amazing it was.... So you will have to try it for yourself. We felt the only downside was having the TVs surrounding the restaurant, as it took away from the overall experience.
google avatar

Jack L.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious. I honestly hate making this review for how good the food was. Service was fine as well and they were kind. Problem is there was a roach in my food. While it was small, I didn't order anything with a roach and I don't particularly like roaches. Sad to say I won't be going back.
