Amazing private dinner experience. They accommodated extra guests last minute, and changed the setup of the restaurant for our every need. The service was excellent, and the food even better. I also loved the touch of inviting us to another section for the welcome drink and aperitif

I wanted to take my family to a nice restaurant for my birthday, this was my choice Amazing food, amazing service, staff is so welcoming and charming Cuz it eas my birthday they even sang me the happy birthday song!! Lovely people

My friends and I were visiting Italy and had discussed trying out some fine dining while we were in Rome. This place popped up on TripAdvisor and I thought it looked really good, so I reserved a table. I didn't realize when booking that they had a lovely outdoor courtyard to sit in! We were seated outside with all the other patrons on a lovely evening. Our servers were delightful and answered any questions we had. The food was delicious — I especially loved the elevated street food appetizer we got to split, and the duck dish with a raspberry glaze. It's been over a month since we visited this restaurant and my friend who also got the duck still talks about it lol! Nothing could have been better. This was one of my favorite restaurants I visited in Rome. Afterwards, we went to the bar on the rooftop and had an amazing time just relaxing and looking out over the city. The location was just so perfect!

I Sofà exceeded expectations from start to finish. Chef Andrea Galati’s dishes balance authentic Roman flavors with creative touches—every plate was beautifully prepared and delicious. We began with a perfect aperitif crafted by Daniele, the talented barman, which set a great tone for the evening. Service was warm and attentive throughout, especially from Flavio and Antonio, who made us feel truly welcome. If you’re in Rome, I highly recommend booking dinner at I Sofà for a memorable meal.

We started our experience at iSofà Ristorante with an aperitivo on the terrace, enjoying stunning views of the rooftops of Rome. We then descended to the beautiful garden of Hotel Indigo, where the romantic atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable meal. We tasted a delicious octopus, cappelletti stuffed with bass, fettuccelle with lamb, glazed duck with pink peppercorns, and the authentic Roman Carbonara. To finish, an incredible tiramisu. The prices are surprisingly affordable for both locals and tourists, making iSofà a must-visit gem in Rome. A truly unique place to experience authentic Roman cuisine. A privilege to visit!

I recently visited Sofà restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, with Andrea and Antonio going above and beyond to make the experience memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. The environment was calm and relaxing — the perfect place to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. The food was simply wonderful: each dish (pasta carbonara, carpaccio langustina) had an amazing depth of flavor, and the portions were generous without compromising quality or presentation. My friend and I had an unforgettable evening at Sofà Restaurant in Rome. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and made us feel truly special. The dishes were absolutely exquisite, perfectly paired with exceptional wines that elevated the experience even further. A very special thanks goes to Giancarlo, who took care of us with such warmth and professionalism, always with a smile on his face. He truly made the evening remarkable and ensured we were completely spoiled. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect setting for a memorable night. Without a doubt, when we return to Rome, we will come back to Sofà Restaurant again!

I reserved dinner for two from quandoo.it almost solely because this place has a terrace. When my friend and I arrived, our waitress told us the terrace was closed for dining but offered to make us drinks to have on the terrace before we started dinner (my friend had champagne and I had some soda, neither of which she charged us for). The terrace was great, with a decent view of St. Peter's Basilica, and we were the only people up there. When we returned to the ground floor for dinner, we were given some sort of small tart involving cream cheese compliments of the chef. The food itself was phenomenal. I had the clam linguini for my first dish, which had a nice subtle flavor and was just the right portion size, and for my main I had the catch of the day, which was included several types of fish and some prawn. The salmon must have been alive maybe an hour before we ate because it was so fresh. Everything was delicious. The best part was that we were given 20% off the bill because we had reserved online. I had no idea of this until we received the bill, mainly because I can't read Italian, but it just made our experience even better.

Best meal in Rome! Oh my gosh, this place is incredible, and it's creative and different from the tourist trap places. I had the 63 degree egg and then the chestnut gnocchi. Both were to die for. I received a glass of champagne, amuse bouche, and cookies complementary. And the staff were so lovely. Can't recommend enough!

Absolutely perfect!!!!! The best meal we had in Rome and the service was delightful! Get the carbonara and cacio e pepe, you will not be disappointed.

Overpriced, small portions, lacking on flavor. The vegetable soup was blended spinach. My main course was tiny lambchops on a huge plate for 28 euro. No sides, and just bland. For 35 euro and a 5 minute walk in ANY direction you can eat amazing food.

This is just amazing! Superb service, view, food, atmosphere, anything! Just Go here and be thrilled! Yes it is not cheap, but can I have a definition on cheap please? Worldclass!

A little gem with a lovely view. Perfect for a group of friends for dinner or just drinks. For a rooftop bar in still feels intimate with a good vibe.

Very accommodating restaurant with wonderful views. However, we celebrated our wedding with 19 ppl and the food was all cold, we received the wrong dishes - home fries verses Boulangerie Potatoes - and the brides pasta- which was me - received not one single piece of mushroom in my mushroom pasta. The food came over one hour between plates and was all cold. Further, our guests ordered sides that came an hour later and were wrong! It was embarrassing and insulting. This was our wedding dinner and it was suppose to be special and it was a total embarrassment for us. Our guests travelled from different countries to share this dinner with us and it was awful. I don't recommend anyone with a group bigger then 2 eat here.

We had the most amazing birthday meal (7 of us) at our hotel sitting outside under their cabana. Service was excellent and wine prices great !!

This restaurant and bar has a great location on top of the Indigo Hotel. The view of St Peter's Basilica at night is stunning! Service was very good throughout the meal. Some of the items we ordered were not spectacular. The Caesar salad had very good chicken, but the greens were bitter and wilted. The artichoke and mushroom risotto had crispy bacon which was a big plus, but also had thin stops of soggy bacon as well. Soggy bacon just doesn't cut it for me! We also had lasagne. The sauce was sweet and light and simple no complaints except the price. I know with a great view comes a premium on pricing. The atmosphere was really relaxing, the food was good even if slightly overpriced.

Please don't eat here. The best thing I can say is they did, in fact, bring us food. But it was awful. And late. And wrong - which the server seemed to find funny because he tried to keep the wrong order "surprise" as a running joke throughout the meal. Jarring, uncomfortable and overall kind of gross. Rome has so many lovely rooftop locations. ANY of them would be a better option. I am truly sad to have spent time here.

The rooftop view was amazing and the location was very convenient. Other than that, we weren't thrilled with our experience. The service was very slow, we waited for our drinks (just wine) for what seemed like forever. We ordered the scallops as an appetizer, we were served 3 tiny overcooked scallops. The entrees were just ok and some in our group thought the pasta was undercooked. For the price, we were expecting better.

This will be our third night in beautiful Rome, and for the third night we have returned to I Sofa due to the fantastic service of Claudia and Ricardo, the resident bar staff, it would seem that nothing is too much and if a drink is not apparent in Claudia's vast repertoire she will happily research it and endeavour to produce the drink you crave ( in my case a Vespa followed by a well known old fashioned). I cannot recommend this bar highly enough based not just on its decor and location, but mainly on the quality of the people who make the place work.
