We spent a week at the Ibagari Hotel with family and friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. I can’t say enough good things about this place and our experience! The property is beautiful and serene. All of our guests loved their rooms. We travel extensively all over the world, and I can definitively say that this was one of the best properties we have ever experienced.||||The service was exceptional. All the staff members went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They helped us with any special requests and truly made us feel welcomed. We are grateful to all the staff for making our week so special.||||The lunches and dinners at their Luna Muna restaurant were a great experience every day. The food was delicious, the drinks first class. The night of the event was unforgettable - amazing set-up that made the evening feel surreal.||||The amenities were impressive, and we loved the pools, hot tubs, and especially art installations throughout the property. The beach was great - felt truly private without any crowds around. Our time at Ibagari Hotel was unforgettable. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious escape in Roatan - look no further and just book this amazing place!

Five Stars – Truly One of the Best Hotel and Dive Operations!||Ibagari Boutique Hotel exceeded all expectations! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly special—so welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up in the mornings! The food was absolutely outstanding—every meal felt like a treat. Honestly, there’s no need to leave the property if you don’t want to. Everything you need for a relaxing, luxurious getaway is right here. ||Duna Divers on property is hands-down one of the best dive shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. From start to finish, everything was seamless, safe, and incredibly enjoyable. The staff is exceptional—warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Travel time by boat to each dive was less than 15 minutes!||Axel was phenomenal—so kind, professional, and informative about the local marine life and the beauty of the reef. Lucilla and Caleb are outstanding dive instructors who made every dive not just safe, but fun and memorable.||The dives themselves were absolutely incredible. We saw an amazing variety of fish and vibrant coral—truly breathtaking. Every moment underwater was a reminder of how special this place is.||Can’t recommend Duna Divers highly enough, and we absolutely hope to return soon for more adventures with this fantastic team!

We can't express enough gratitude for our stay at Ibagari! From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed we were treated with the utmost professionalism, attention to detail and most importantly, genuine kindness. Chris, the manager could not have been more helpful. He arranged an amazing island tour for us with the fabulous Jorje, set up a wonderful dolphin experience and attended to our every need, big or small. Chris, Ineth, Luis and Juli the event planner (among others) made our 20th anniversary celebration over the top special by helping my husband pull off a surprise vow renewal ceremony complete with a wonderful officiant, special dinner on the beach, and even professional bouquet! The Luna Muna restaurant staff (deserving of their own separate review) were also incredible and made this a truly memorable trip and anniversary! The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and full of amazing art that makes it feel a if you are in an art gallery by the sea. Every single person from housekeeping, to security, to the dive shop staff were kind, attentive, friendly and amazing. Axelito , who ran the water taxi , took his time in helping us navigate our first venture into West End on day one, and was just as helpful in assuring we had the right snorkel gear. We loved absolutely every minute of our stay at Ibagari and it has left an impression and experience that will be with us for life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We had an amazing first diving experience with Gaby.||Cant recommend her and Ibagari enough. She was amazing at handling our nerves and help us enjoy the experience at its fullest. ||We were taken to an amazing site where we saw all kind of fish and corals.||Also the hotel is beatiful and all the staff was super kind and helpful

If you come as a group that's cool they will wait on you hand a foot expecting a big tip. The food was mediocre at best . The drinks were expensive . Don't come without reservation and dont come as a couple horrible experience. Blue roatans restaurant top of the hill Azul will treat you way better and better priced.

we cannot say enough wonderful things about ibagari. We spent our honeymoon here and the experience with nothing short of luxurious. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, integrated with nature, full of art, and extremely clean. The staff is also unmatched. Christopher in reception was there for all of our needs and questions and made our stay both easy and so fun. Our beach days were made even better with the great care and service given to us by Norma and Sara, who always made sure that we were hydrated, fed, and happy. Jose and Jorge made sure our breakfasts and dinners were perfect. we are also grateful for many water taxi rides, and one very special sunset cruise, under the care of Gaby and Axel. We were made to feel so special and really treated like royalty. |if you are looking for a wonderful, relaxing and truly one of a kind experience, look no further than Ibagari.

Ibagari was a fantastic experience and highly recommend for anyone visiting Roatan! Beautiful grounds, the architecture really embraces the natural landscape of Turtle Beach. This allows guests to immediately feel relaxed by the sounds of birds and the ocean, surrounded by lush trees and plantings. ||The rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in U8, which came with breathtaking views of the ocean on the balcony. The balcony was also a nice size with comfy seating. The bed was very comfortable and having the motorized curtains was clutch! Bathroom was nice as well, walk in shower with tub inside. Shower also had an ocean view. ||My wife and I were there February '25, visiting Roatan for my good friend's wedding and Ibagari provided an amazing setting for a dream wedding celebration. Anyone planning to have a destination wedding in Roatan, this is the place to have your big bash. The restaurant and lounge areas were great to just hang for the afternoon. Drinks are incredible, really enjoyed the watermelon margaritas! Food is out of this world as well. Conch carpaccio and ceviche were some of our favorites. Lobster benedict for brunch a must try as well. The food for the wedding was delicious, very high quality. You will thoroughly enjoy the spa treatments as well. If you want a couples massage, they will have you so relaxed you might end up falling asleep during your massage!||Finally, the best thing about Ibagari above all is the staff and the world class service you will receive. Everyone there was kind, attentive and professional. Special shout out to the following staff members who took extra special care of us, and helped make our experience in Roatan all the more memorable:||Roland, Luis, Mily and Addis who were the guest experience/concierge personnel who were fantastic. They were all friendly, really accommodating, patient and helpful. Eduardo who heads up the restaurant does an outstanding job and has an incredible staff. Marvin and Sara were the best servers, David making the best cocktails! Overall you will not be disappointed with your stay at Ibabari. Can't wait to return to paradise, soon!

The place is a little difficult to find at first but if you follow the GPS closely it will take you there. There is plenty of easy, secure parking. The art and architecture are warm, whimsical, fresh and clean. Our room, U3, is roomy, perfectly air-conditioned and features soft, cozy bedding and a colorful view. They do not appear to get a lot of channels on the very nice, new TVs so bring your access codes. The bathroom is refined, elegant and also has a great view with the door overlooking a plunge pool. The toilet area lacks acoustic privacy and has an explosive flush that is sure to wake up your partner....but it is kind of funny. The prices for mini-bar and poolside cocktails are very reasonable and all of the staff is very helpful/friendly and informative. The plunge pool is was refreshingly chilly...a hot tub would have gotten more use from us as there is almost always a cool breeze. The overall vibe is quiet and laid back and very soothing. There are many places to swim nearby, their beach features lots of welcoming shade (if you want it), beautiful, friendly drink service and a perfect water temperature. The swimming area is shallow so don't plan to dive off the floating decks. The main pool and hot tubs are very nicely maintained but the pool is directly in front of the dining areal... I am not sure anyone wants to watch me swim while they eat. If you need their help booking excursions or spa services I suggest asking in advance because they seem to book quickly...but they will also help recommend other places if needed.||The food is probably the best I have had in the Caribbean. Keep in mind the portions are generous, after a day of snorkeling in the sun an appetizer is all I need.
