Iberian Rooster

It was good. Nice chill atmosphere. My only complaint is that the meat wasn't well-seasoned. The chicken nuggets were crispy but bland, could have used some salt and pepper. Same with the steak, although the sauce was delightful and flavorful. The frites were divine and the roasted vegetables had the perfect amount of char. They were in between pastry chefs, so the desert that I desired was not available, the triple eclair. However the carrot cake was very very good. Next time I'm in St Pete, more than likely come back.

We went for lunch, introduced to this treasure of a restaurant via Groupon. We were a party of four, each of us getting something different and it was delicious, including the dessert which was by far the biggest dessert ever... Nick our server was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable, the decor and atmosphere was lovely, the prices were very fair for the quality of food - and the food was awesome. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I visited the Iberian Rooster and we loved it. He got the IB burger, which I tasted and loved. I got the caldo verde and it was good too. Their drink menu is extensive and unique. Great date place to visit.

This place is amazing. The cuisine is fantastic with very aromatic spices that compliment the flavors of everything. We sampled various small plates and shared a large and dessert and it was good. Really really good. Open late. Try them out. Super impressed.

Service was very friendly and fast, food came out quickly. Had the eggplant dish and the hummus trio...so delicious! Great selection of cocktails as well. Live music and nice atmosphere downstairs! Check out this place when in St Petersburg 👍🏽

Friendly service great drinks, but the food is not what we expected. Sadly. The smoked eggplant (Grab de Bico) was very flavorless. The Portuguese black paella tasted good but wasn't quite what I expected as a paella. I had hard pieces of the mussels shells in the rice wich made eating it a risky and annoying thing. Sadly I think we won't come back, at least food not.

The atmosphere and decor is awesome, but that's where it stops. We waited an absurdly long time to order, then for our food to come, then again for our drinks. The portions are smaller than other comparable restaurants nearby and the food was mediocre. My wife's meal required one gallon of water on standby, because of the exponential salt content. My Moroccan Beef was so overcooked for a "medium rare" it looked and tasted like the shoes that I had on (luckily the chimichurri helped). The problem is, once you wait that long for food, it's not worth having them correct it unless you don't mind being there for the time equivalent of an entire season of Game Of Thrones. Cool Jazz lounge downstairs, but will not come back for food.

Super top notch spot. Amazing menu and great vibe! They also have a down stairs lounge with local art hanging on the walls.
