Iberostar Grand Trinidad

I had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Grand Trinidad. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Trinidad’s charming streets and colonial architecture. The design and cleanliness of the hotel are top-notch – the lobby, in particular, is beautifully decorated and feels very refined. My room was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were even extra towels available in the room for beach or pool use. It’s clear that the hotel prioritizes guest comfort. The staff at the reception were especially friendly and helpful – they arranged a taxi to my next destination and even asked if I’d be interested in a free guided tour of Trinidad. One great detail: although power outages can happen in Trinidad (as in many parts of Cuba), this hotel is well-prepared. They have generators that restore electricity within seconds, which made me feel safe and well taken care of. Breakfast was also okay. I stayed on a Friday, and there happened to be a cultural event for local youth in the main square nearby – essentially an open-air disco. It was lively and fun to witness, though if this happens regularly and you're a light sleeper, it might be something to keep in mind. All in all, Iberostar Grand Trinidad is a safe, elegant, and well-managed hotel that combines Cuban charm with professional service. Highly recommended for a comfortable and central stay in Trinidad

It was a wonderful experience. It's been a long time since I felt so comfortable in a place I didn't consider home. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. The hotel staff were always attentive to my needs and were very cordial and friendly, especially those at the reception desk, whose organization, preparation, and professionalism impressed me.

We went to different locations in Cuba and stayed in different hotels. This was the best hotel during our visit in Cuba.|We loved being here and wished we could have stayed longer.|We were treated very well and all of the staff were lovely.|The location was perfect. This Luxurious, 5-Star hotel in colonial Trinidad (a UNESCO Heritage site) is the Best! The Manager of Reception, Ilen Escobar, treated us royally during our time. Ms. Escobar had some time to offer a quick tour: made us feel honoured and very welcome! Top-class service! ---From the moment you leave the hot, sunny tropical heat, the doorman and gracious staff welcomes you into a cool, quiet, wood trimmed foyer. A friendly Concierge and Reception personnel greets you (perhaps you’ll see Ilen). Before you is a grand, open courtyard lobby with comfy seats and tropical plants circling a tall fountain? Through a doorway is a classic, comfortable Lobby Bar/ Lounge, where you may enjoy a cappuccino or a classic cocktail and food. ---Their hotel restaurant is reviewed as 5-Fork with top level service. Many of their rooms overlook a colonial Trinidad square with gracious appointments of luxurious linens and ample space, décor and huge windows. There are also lovely views from their rooftop. **** THIS hotel is well-worth visiting to enjoy a pampered, lovely stay! And Ms. Escobar is very helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable! We highly recommend a stay at this gem of old-world elegance in central, gorgeous Trinidad, Cuba.

Its a nice hotel, in the central area of the city with very friendly smiling staff. |The problem was with the air conditioning which cut off 5-6 times a night.|Finally we had to change our hotel the last night because there was no power left so no water or anything. |Would be careful about choosing this hotel. I mean if the main must amenities dont work nothing else can save ypur reputation. Your main job is a cool climate and power in the room

one of the best hotel rooms i've ever stayed in. the staff at the hotel are fabulous, from the front desk to maintenance to the folks in the dining room. i'd recommend this hotel without reservation if ever you're in Trinidad. the rooms are spacious, comfortable, as is the entire hotel.

We were fortunate to stay at the Iberostar Grand Trinidad. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience, food was excellent, rooms were clean, cool, and very comfortable, WiFi was good, and electricity generator was consistent.
