Great for scuba diving! Super convenient. Great service! Ismael and Sol in the kids club are awesome, Cindy waited on us for every dinner and is exceptional, Maria with the lunch tacos is unmatched! Rosa always on top of things with the towels and sports balls. Can’t find a better place with better people to spend vacation.

Amazing holidays! What I enjoyed: the location, the pools, lots of activities during the day, good variety of food in the buffet, nice cocktails all day long at 4 different bars, sustainability of the hotel, great animators,l for adults and for kids, every day different evening shows, the weather, quietness at night, friendly staff, clean rooms, wildlife. All the animals are well looked after! What I suggest to improve: difficult to find sunbeds close to the sea in shade; quality of the food in the restaurants (buffet is good, restaurants are not), dehumidifiers in rooms to avoid the smell and wet clothing.

This was my wife and I's second trip to this resort. Both times were amazing. The staff throughout the resort (wait staff, bartenders, maintenance and housekeeping) are very friendly and do everything they can to make sure you're taken care of. The rooms and entire facility is very clean and well kept. The food is amazing - coffee is awesome! Drinks are made quickly and taste great as well. What I liked especially about this resort is entertainment and activities. The activities throughout the day around the pool and beach area are FUN to participate in, not being overly challenging but also very entertaining to watch if you don't want to participate. They also have a evening show every night, which is great and included in your stay. If you find something negative to say about this place - you cannot be happy anywhere!

This was our second stay at Iberostar Waves and it did not disappoint! It's as if the resort was carved out of the jungle. The folage is lush but still well maintained. The resort is smaller so if has a more personal vibe. The staff was excellent and very polite. In particular Juan Carlos went out of his way to help us anyway he could. He even reached out to their entertainment staff to have our NFL game show on the lobby TV! The food and drinks were awesome with some quality spirits available for no extra charge. We will be back next year!

Nice chill vibe resort, as busy as you like it. |Rocky entry, as the dock and stairs are under construction, so bring water shoes. Slight construction noise as they work all day on dock.|Lots of chairs and shaded area's on bech|Excellent diving resort with Dressel Divers|Smoke house and buffets are great|Fun interactive activities crew. They are very personable and engaging. Beautiful, lush resort with bright bungalows, almost paradise!!!|Food was above what we have experienced elsewhere. This was our 3rd visit to Cozumel.|Vibe was relaxing but lots to do if you wanted to.|Snorkelling was a little disappointing, not much to see and with the stairs gone it was a challenge to get out to the deeper water. The new pier is coming along and looking good!|BRING WATER SHOES!!!|Staff were friendly and mostly accommodating.| When booking our room we had upgraded (paid extra) to a pool view room, not what we got, there was no pool view at all and we missed out on a better location with those rooms. We told them on arrival but nothing was done.| Overall a lovely week with some amazing sunsets|Loved the fresh water glass bottles and not needing to make dinner reservations!!!

My experience at this hotel was wonderful, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was Fabian’s attention. From the very beginning, it was clear how passionate and dedicated he is to making all guests feel welcome and comfortable. Always with a smile, he offered fun activities with so much energy and charisma, making us feel like part of the hotel family. Without a doubt, his incredible attitude and warmth are among the main reasons I highly recommend this place! The hotel’s setting is also absolutely amazing, surrounded by beautiful nature and a perfect beach. Thank you for everything—I hope to return soon!

We stayed for a long weekend, Friday to Tuesday, to celebrate our anniversary. The beach has a lot of coral so you need foot protection to walk in. Everything else was terrific, good entertainment team, good food, great service. Kudos to Alexia, kitchen liaison, who made our stay even more wonderful by preparing something special from the kitchen. We will definitely be back with friends and to go snorkeling and/or scuba diving. This hotel has its own pier with excursions. Nice wood fire pizza too.
