Iberostar Waves Miami Beach

Tiny rooms. Bed against window so only one person can step out. Other has to crawl or climb. Pool door does that work with carbon. Had to get maintenance to let us access pool. Then its not heated, 58 degrees. Gorgeous and worthless. Worst 500 a night ever wasted.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was perfect, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. But what truly made my experience exceptional was the receptionist, Luciana. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Thanks to her, everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Luciana is definitely the heart of this hotel – she made me feel truly at home. Highly recommend this place! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Service at Iberostar Waves in Miami is seriously unmatched. Our stay was comfortable and lovely, with a cute in-hotel cafe with bougie, tasty brunch and coffee (and adorable decor!!) Our room was clean, amenities were perfect- truly, a delightful stay. We were a 7 minute walk from the entrance to Art Basel. 20min walk from Michelin star restaurants. BUT they earned a customer FOR LIFE when my flight was unexpectedly cancelled 2 hours before departure. I was stuck in Miami with NO plan, overnight, at the tail end of the busiest event of the season. Iberostar did everything in their power to make sure I was taken care of, and had a nice, safe, comfortable place to stay at the LAST possible second. I plan on returning annually and encourage you to do the same

Stayed here for a real estate conference. Location is absolutely amazing. Has a really neat "boutique hotel" feel. Victor at the front desk was amazing and Clarissa and Sofia waited on us at the little outdoor courtyard restaurant. The service at this place was AMAZING! Staff was so friendly and worked their tails off since we took over the place. Loved the stay and these three employees made our stay amazing!

I came with my two children under 4. We had a great time. Room was perfect, we had dinner and drinks at the restaurant in the hotel and the pasta was great! ( also toddler approved, which is hard to do) we also used the rooftop pool. The water was pretty cold but the loungers were comfortable. |Victor- who was at the front desk for our stay- was so helpful, polite and nice. He gave a us suggestions on where to go, answered all my questions and had a smile no matter the time of day !

The front desk staff was incredible. They were always welcoming us with a smile and were able to answer all of my questions so nicely. Luciana at the front desk really stood out, she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed from the beginning. The hotel itself was beautiful, very well maintained, and surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere. The environment felt calm and welcoming, perfect for both resting and enjoying a vacation. The pool area was a real highlight—spacious, clean, and ideal for spending time under the sun. Thank you for everything !!

Location -5: Great location. Close to the beach, the convention center and shopping. ||Room - 2: Small for 1 person, really small for 2 people. Fortunately, we had great weather during our trip so spent little time in the room but it would not be fun to spend any significant waking time in the room. (for reference, it was a double). We also had a leaky shower. ||Service - 3.5: Service was fine for Miami standards. ||Amenities - 3.5: Decent restaurant, pool was basic (not sure why we are getting charged a resort fee!!).||Overall: Great location and hotel should focus on that - disingenuous to charge a resort fee however.

Not a great hotel. No recognition of IHG Diamond Elite status. Room was tiny - didn't receive a room upgrade. $50 per day amenity fee (which was hidden when booking on IHG app) covers beach access and what else? Rooftop pool was in a terrible state and didn't look like the photos. The other Iberostar hotel in Miami Beach (Berkeley Shore) is a far better hotel.
