I have looked at other reviews and some of them unfairly write down all the bad points of the hotel to which we didn't find any. I would agree that it is not a hotel more a motel or Inn. Those who do write inconsiderate reviews in my opinion had too high expectations before they arrived at the Spice Quarter where it is situated. If you are looking for a hotel with a pool and are expecting your bed sheets to be changed every day this is not the place for you. ||However if you are looking for a place which is unpretentious where you can chill, want to use as a base to travel to the surrounding area then I highly recommend the Ibex Hotel. We did regret we did not have a larger room albeit a comfortable double bedroom with shower room. I'm 1.92 mtr high and had no problem with the shower (one review I read on google told of a person 1.65mtr hitting their head). I will admit working the hot and cold water tap was a bit awkward. The Inn is run by a couple who did what they could to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. I also found them helpful finding local sights.||They also have larger family rooms although we chose to stay with our accommodation. Breakfast was quite adequate offering eggs, bread and fresh fruit. ||Admittedly the back yard could have done with a clean up. But at under £100 a night it is good value and we would stay there again.

The moment you walk into the large sitting area you feel at home. Everything is colorful yet totally relaxing and inviting. We were 17 people, ages 3-76, and we were all very comfortable. The rooms all have a touch of an item or photo that elevates them from hotel decor to "my room at the inn." Good coffee in the public area, and delicious breakfast, again, with that touch of color that is the hallmark of the place. Even the breakfast on Saturday, which in many Israeli hotels is pretty dismal because of the Sabbath laws, was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly, and we're planning to come back next year

Ibex is an outstanding hotel. Each room is spacious and comfortable. Our party had 2 rooms, one inside with its own lounge, and adjoining a large lounge area shared with one other room. Our other room was a a garden suite (a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen). This room also had a private patio. The serve a generous delicious Israeli breakfast. The hotel manager gave us excellent advise about the best site seeing in the area, which really enriched our trip.

The Ibex is in the arty former industrial estate of Mitzpe Ramon. As long as you realise it is not in town and that there are few options for eating on Shabbat it is a comfortable and quiet choice.|The owners are attentive without being at all intrusive. Breakfast is generous and beautifully presented, with home made apple and cinnamon jam that our daughter loved. The rooms are split level. The beds are upstairs and there is a kitchen and small lounge downstairs. So there’s a lot of room. Plus a table outside each room. The stairs up and down the rooms are metal so neighbours can make noise but the team is aware of that and plan to resolve it. Overall, a bit different but still clean and comfortable.

Decided to stay here at the last minute and it was a very nice and different experience. Hadas told us about a great hike and let us keep our luggage stored while we hiked. Great!! Breakfast was yummy, original, healthy and very aesthetic. The guesthouse definitely feels like there is a mom and dad who care about the facility and the guests. I'm not surprised people want to return time after time. Thank you.

Rooms were not clean enough and were very dirty. Sofa bed in the living room is not comfortable. In general, low value for money. Also, breakfast is served very late (8:30 AM weekdays and 9:00 AM weekend), so for those of you that would like to eat early in the morning, you should know that it is not possible.

Fantastic place in the Spice Quarter of quirky Mitzpe Ramon. Very stylish decor - so much attention to details given. Lots of common sitting areas (both inside & in the garden). Common lounge is very inviting & has a nice ambiance - it’s certainly not the place where you just want to lock yourself in your room. Rooms are spacious & comfortable, shower hot & powerful. Coffee/tea/water available all the time. Aviva - the owner - is very friendly & knowledgeable about the area - gave us great hikes recommendations. If you like hiking, you could easily stay a week there exploring the area. Having a car is highly recommended though. Fantastic home cooked breakfast (more of a feast really). Cannot recommend this place high enough.

Absolutely fantastic! I was there with my hausband and 2 kids. We really enjoy the comfort and the cozyness of our room. It was clean, peaceful and totally accessible for any type of people. The hotel is also located in a very cool area, full of art galleries, nice coffee shops and pubs. The breakfast is simple and delicious and I have to say that I had one of my best sleep in Israel :)
