Salih at the reception was truly amazing. During check-in he reminded me of a request I had emailed three days earlier — something I had already forgotten myself. On the night before check-out, he even offered to arrange a wake-up call for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and shows how much he enjoys his job.
On the other hand, one staff member checked the room in the evening and asked us to leave 5 stars and a compliment (something I’ve seen often in this region). But when I asked her for some water, she just told me to call housekeeping and left — even though she had just asked if we were satisfied.
Overall though, this was the best ibis I’ve ever stayed in, almost like an “ibis+.” The breakfast was exceptionally good for the brand.
