Though it is not ideally located, it is very convenient by Tram #10 which has a station in front of the hotel. Breakfast is basic as in all Ibis properties. Rooms are small with a not so good pillow, but the bed is good.

Nice and clean, pretty large room with one double bed and two single beds, great for me as I am traveling with my two sons. Walking distance to Old Town and Rosengarten - but Bern also offers free public transportation for tourists during their stay at a hotel which is great - you can hop on and of as much as you want getting around town! Much appreciated!

I had booked the room for just a night for my wife and myself. We just needed the room for sleeping. We reached the hotel at 11 pm.We were given keys for room 717.We reached the room and tried opening the door but it was not opening.I tried for 4-5 times and then somebody opened the door from inside. He started abusing us.He was asleep and was annoyed but I don't think abusing us was the right thing to do.I tried explaining him that the reception told us that our room was 717 and some misunderstanding might have been there on the hotels end and we were sorry. But he just didnt listen and continously abused us.We went back to the reception and the receptionist told us due to some miscommunication gap he gave me the wrong room.He then told us our room was 217.I raised a complaint against the person in room 717 for abusing us but nothing happened. The mistake was from the hotels end but neither they apologized nor did they take any action against the abuser.I definitely apologized to my wife because of what she had to face after a long day.I guess that's what happens when you stay at a cheap hotel.Definitely not recommended to anyone.

Was not impressed.. Was cheapest I found on Expedia.. Paid for breakfast and was led to a lesser breakfast on another floor.. Room really small.. bed just a Matt really on boards.. shower and such very small.. If by myself would be ok.. But not with 76 year old father.. Only thing that was decent was the gentleman at the guest table.. He was polite and helpful.. But for a near $200 price (when you include tax and breakfast) this place is not worth it..

Our room was big and with a beautiful view of the alps . Great location , it was so easy to get to the centre of the city in the tram with our tram cards . Thank you

The location is very good, the family room was spacious, clean, beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. Breakfast was also good.

The triple room we got had the weirdest mirror arrangement! The small bathroom had a glass door that's not fully blinded, and there were mirrors right across it and another mirror that exposed everything the moment the door was opened. The room itself was small, leaving barely enough space to open a suitcase. There's a tram stop only a few steps away from the hostel - it was convenient to get to the city center or the train station. They charged us extra for the city pass although it’s supposed to be free. There were separate breakfast areas for red rooms and blue rooms - we stayed in a budget one, so we had limited choices.

I had a recent stay at the Bern expo for 2 week as part of a business trip. I had a very nice stay, location has easy access to the city with regular on time transport, very clean hotel, all enquiries were complete with no issues and very efficient. Very friendly and professional staff especially thanks to Daria at the front office for all her help with local information, restrants and area of interests for the duration of our stay, she was very helpful and appreciated by the group.
