From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff exceeded expectations. Especially Aleksandar commitment to making our stay comfortable. Room was spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained.The hotel's cleanliness surpassed my expectations.

We had to find a place where to spend the night. We were very welcomed in Ibis budget Lausanne. The check-in process went very well with advises on discount options. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet despite the fact that the hotel location is close to the highway.

When I called to make a change to my reservation I asked whether I could talk in English and the person on the phone said she didn't speak any English! Then I swapped to my rusty French - when asking whether there'd be a 2 bedroom room available instead of a 3 bedroom room she said now - only so that I had to find out online that there was a t bedroom room available. The staff I met at the hotel was polite and nice, yet the lady on the phone simply wasn't helpful and I do not understand how someone who is on phone duty in an ibis hotel cannot speak English!

This hotel is simply not worth the money unless you are a couple comfortable showering and going to toilet in front of each other. Pay the extra €20 and stay in a different hotel unless you are desperate/ need to save the money. Not suitable for friends or family members. No water or tea facilities available without minimum payment of €3.50. The towels are like tissue paper. The shower and sink feel like they are in the middle of the room. The toilet door is reminiscent of a school trip that I went to when I was younger. The doors at the camping group were also made of cardboard. The staff are rude and do not smile. They seem unhappy to work here. The excuse of this hotel is that they are a "budget" hotel. This excuse is not sufficient as there are plenty of Ibis "budget" around the world and this is the worst I have been to. If it is a "budget" hotel then €60 for the night would be acceptable. Anything over and you're getting ripped off.

The room is too small, Too cramp for 2 large luggage. contemporary. Good linens. Room temp can be controlled by customers. No closet.

The hotel was surprisingly good for only one star, everything was clean and new. The staff is very kind and professional.

Rooms very simple but comfortable and all necessary amenities available. Sound insulation is not very good making it difficult to have an uninterrupted night's sleep. Cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired and general maintenance or refurbishment is needed. Price - quality ratio remains good. Excellent welcome by a very competent employee. He knows his job, he's clear, the information given is interesting, concise and to the point. Congratulations! Easily accessible by public transport as well as by car, the location is ideal in that respect. The downside is that it is quite noisy. Great perk is free use of the local public transportation system. Using a combination of bus and train, the Lausanne main train station is just 20 minutes away. Price - Quality ratio is good. I'm recommending and I'll go back!
