Amazing location, a few steps from the lake. Also Monte San Salvatore fenicular is at 2 min walk. Hotel is new brand and very neat and clean 👌 staff was very courteous and helpful. Great experience 👍

Location was great (beautiful 20 min walk along lake to the city center), room had everything you need but with a baby crib and stroller in it, you couldn't move much, next time we'd go for a bigger room. If you don't have a baby, the room would be basic but clean and has all one needs. Breakfast was good, but I missed "cream cheese" (like Philadelphia). Staff was friendly.

The front desk staff were very unprofessional and inconsistent in how they treat guests. I noticed that some guests seemed to receive much better attention and attitude than others, which was disappointing to see. The room was also very small, and the bed was uncomfortable. Overall, it did not feel welcoming or worth the price — I hope management improves staff training and guest experience.

Disappointed with Reception and Extra Charges||||I booked Ibis Budget Lugano through Booking.com for £109, which clearly included £10 city tax and VAT. However, when I arrived, the receptionist (with the name tag “Daniel”) insisted I had to pay the city tax again, saying it was a “mistake on Booking.com.”||||I showed him my confirmation several times, but he refused to respect the booking price. After consulting someone I believe was the manager, he returned without his name tag – as if removing it would make the problem disappear.||||When I mentioned that I would contact Booking.com and leave a review, they went silent and offered no explanation. Overall, the situation felt unprofessional and disappointing. Guests should be aware that the hotel may not honor the advertised price.

Very nice staff, perfectly clean rooms & great breakfast! We stayed for nine nights. The breakfast was fresh & really good. No matter how full the hotel was, the really friendly staff was well organized. The rooms are not too big but big enough for two people to explore the city. WLAN is fast & good. Location is very central. Parking underneath is not cheap but safe & comfy!

A very good located, clean and friendly hotel. Our room was furnitured with compact but practical furnitures. The bed was extremelly comfortable. The lake is in 1 corner, the railway station, supermarket is in a 5 minutes walk distance. We loved it.

Simple, but modern and clean room; what speaks for it, is that it's within walking distance to Paradiso's and Lugano's Lungolago. And you're in via Nassa, Lugano, after a 20-min walk. Breakfast is good, too.
