ibis Chur

It is a nice hotel and the rooms are nice. All of them have big balconies to enjoy. The only issue is that on the ground floor there is a McDonald's and you can smell the fried stuff even from the 3rd floor.

The rooms were lovely with great views of the mountains. It’s about a 30 minute walk from the train station but if you have a small enough group, you can take a taxi. The front desk staff in the morning were so lovely and allowed us to stay a few extra hours which was great since we arrived so late from our train the night before. She also helped us out with getting a bus to the station. I would highly recommend this place.

A very cosy, neat and clean hotel. Great stop if you are taking the bernina train route.|We stayed there for a night with family and loved the comfort of the rooms.||There is a McDonalds too that surprisingly had great vegetarian options. |helpful staff and great rooms !

We loved our room on the 4th floor. Spacious, clean, decent bathroom, lovely helpful and professional staff, bus stop just outside which gets you to the heart of town and the railway station in minutes. After the town's establishments have closed for the day, if you're hungry, there's a McDonalds attached as well as a gas station convenience store next door.

Everything was good but their breakfast time Indian waitress on 30th May was very rude. She ordered me like a boss with bad hand gesture to take the tray to the station where I just stand up after finishing my breakfast. This was not acceptable and very unpleasant for me. Will not recommend to have a breakfast at this hotel because of their rude Indian waitress.

The receptionist Anise was friendly and helpful at check in. We got a free bus pass for our stay with half price on the Brambruesch cable car. A kettle is provided if you ask. You can pay a refundable deposit for a swiss socket adapter as we only brought the EU ones. Only negative is that the room was very warm and the air conditioning was noisy.

We went to Europe in 2023. Ibis Hotel Chur is a nice place to stay. Has a magnificent view and close proximity to the Chur West station, so you can take a Bernina Express train or Intercity to Zurich with ease. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but had everything. The only problem though was the fact that even from the bedroom you could see what was going on in the bathroom, so plz fix the doors. It's a good and quiet hotel though.

Mid hotel, barebones rooms although it is nice to have the balcony the view is building or building across busy street. Staff was polite and service was professional. No complimentary water, tea, coffee. Be prepared to pay extra+ for everything Location is a short straight walk to downtown or even shorter bus ride

Let's keep in mind this is a 2-star hotel, so this is a very good 2-star hotel. I want to especially point out the very friendly lady organizing breakfast. By day I was recognized and things were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the friendliness, especially in "just" a 2-star hotel. Coffee-maker in the room and a table on the balcony (with lovely panoramic view) would make this a top-notch hotel within its class.
