ibis Chur

IBIS is a name you associate with trust. I always book hotel in IBIS if they are available in a city. They didn't disappoint. The room was good. They had type c and usb charging ports. We stayed only for a day. Arrived at 10 pm and left the next day at 7 am. I did the bernina express route with regional trains. So I had to start early to avoid crowd. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. There is also a McDonald's at the front. What else do you need? The video I attached is video from the bus stop in front of the hotel.

Very comfortable… Easy access by public transport… 50 meters walking from hotel to bus stop heading to Chur town or train station. Staff are very helpful.

The room itself was really nice, sadly there was no kettle. The windows were opened and closed by little motors, which I found interesting. Breakfast was pretty expensive so we had to skip that. Overall a pleasant experience, beds were nice and comfy. Location was pretty good, statin Chur West was a few minutes away.

The hotel is quite decent with large rooms available with a balcony. The breakfast was a good selection of foods. The staff were helpful with our questions. The bus stop into Chur is just outside with busses every 10mins or so. There is a McDonald's and petrol station next to the hotel. Parking is also available.

On our arrival after driving almost 10 hours we reached this hotel close to midnight. The hotel receptionist informed us that the room was inaccessible by elevator and from the third to fourth floor we had to climb the stairs. Imagine doing that after 12 hours driving in the middle of the night with 2 kids and six bags.....she told me ....we have feet we will climb.....so she told me if we wanted her to carry our bags.....which was obviously sarcastic comment on her behalf. When I told her that this information should be available before my visit as I might have disability or moving problems she told me to complain to management without leaving me an option to change to another hotel of the ALL ACCOR brand of which i am member. The room was inadequately heated but everything else was good. And at this hotel they tried to sell us a parking place although parking was available without paying.

Excellent service at the front desk. Comfortable rooms, clean beads, and a complete breakfast with hot items such as eggs, also they have breads, butter, tea, coffee, fruits, and many more. I was very happy with my stay there. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the main train station by bus, which is very convenient and easy to reach. Special thanks to Alice at the lobby who was very attentive and kind. Alice gave us important advise on how to move around Chur and the attractions in town.

Room is clean and big enough, the location is not too far from the train station.But the service is not as expected. No kettle at room, not many choice in the breakfast, no bacon, sausage scrambled eggs and beans. And we are told not to grap the cold water from the jug when we have our breakfast in the canteen,staff is not friendly, horrible customer service.

I stayed here for 2 nights i September 2023. It is the second time I stayed here. The room is begining to look well used, so in the lobby there were display of plans for renovatio ofthe rooms, which is needed. The room was clean. The hotel is located next to a very busy road and shopping area, so you need to close the windows to be able to sleep. I did not eat breakfast here as it is very expensive. There is parking in the basement of the hotel.
