The rooms were a bit run down and not all too clean, but the staff were all very nice, and location is of course great. Breakfast was quite good as well, better than average.

Very nice old building and very good location in the city center. But. Very old and cheap looking interior. Needs to be renovated urgently. The price for a very small room much too high! Very very small bathroom. I would choose another hotel for sure next time. Didn’t enjoy the experience. And the staff at check in was unfriendly.

Located in the middle of the beautiful centre with a good underground parking (be careful when driving in and out). Calm street. Room 122 is comfortable, sober, clean. A hook to hang your coat on is missing. The bathroom needs an upgrade: Shower door and silicon kit are old, the garbage can has no lid and there was no bag in it, only half a roll of toilet paper present when I arrived. Television and bed are good, only one chair in the room. The curtains were difficult to open and close. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would book here again and I hope the bathroom will have had an upgrade then.

The best thing is the location in the middle of Erfurt's old town surrounded by churches and half-timbered houses. Very good for an Ibis hotel. Good price-performance for the location and friedly Staff. Rooms with air conditioning help a lot in summertime ;)

Nice hotel and good value for money. Well located in the old city and just 10 minutes walk to the train station with tram lines close by. Decent breakfast and good service.

The hotel is about 1 km from the central station. We were allowed to check in just after 2pm but could leave our bags in the luggage room. Room of older standard and they had limited so you could only have the lowest level on the AC. We were given a room right off the stairs, the door slammed loudly all night, I don't understand why they don't install silent closing doors like they had on reception level.

I stayed 5 days for work in this simple hotel in a quiet area of the old-town of Erfurt. The room is not big but it is clean and there is everything you need. I had a room with the nice view to the court-yard and it was also quiet, that was very important for me. The breakfast was also quite ok. I did not experience problems of any kind. Maybe a bit pricy compared to the services and comfort it offers.

If you are not familiar with the Ibis chain, be aware you are getting a no-frills budget hotel, and keep your expectations accordingly. The only toiletry is a combination soap/shampoo. No washcloth. Like other Ibis hotels, there is not a real A/C. Unless you can set a proper temperature in your own room, Ibis should not even advertise the chain has A/C. ||||Excellent location for sightseeing in the Altstadt. Use GPS to find the hotel as you have to navigate some small side streets to get there. Helpful, friendly front desk staff, and the room kept very clean. Wi-fi worked well. ||||Breakfast was 12 Euros/pp. The woman working the dining room seemed overworked. If a dish on the buffet was empty (like scrambled eggs), it would not be replenished, even 45 min. before breakfast was over. ||||Since the A/C didn't really work, we had to sleep with the windows open, but there was no noise. ||||The hotel underground parking garage is 15 Euros/night. No problem parking inside as long as you have an average size car. Street parking is difficult to find near the hotel during the day. ||||Were it not for the lack of A/C and spotty service on the buffet, I would rate this hotel higher. I would stay here again if it was a cooler season of the year.
