I booked this hotel a couple of months ago via agoda.com because of the view mentioned and what a spectacular view it was!!! The location is superb being within walking distance of the North Point MTR station or almost next to the MTR station if the correct exit is being used. My room on the 28th floor was not too big but it was more than sufficient for me as a solo traveler. The buffet breakfast was really quite excellent. The staff members were all quite alright. There was daily housekeeping and 24-hour security which i liked. Hope to return to this fine and safe hotel one day in the near future.

We stayed for a week during our HK vacation. Location was perfect, on its left side, just a few steps to MTR station and local restaurant that closes late at night. On its left, few steps to bus station, wellcome grocery and 711. Across the street a mall. They have a free breakfast at the restaurant, menu was normal, typical simple breakfast but will surely make your tummy full. I would like to commend Ken for helping my husband to pull a surprise birthday celebration during our stay. It really an unexpected but very memorable one. I was stunned on how my husband pulled it off but thanks to him, it was perfect and I was so surprised. Thank you Ken and to all staff at Ibis Hongkong Northpoint, it was indeed a great stay. Cheers!

I enjoyed my stay in Hong Kong. The room was small, but was enough space for one person with a small luggage. The room was a bit humid and the bed is not the soft type, but I could sleep comfortably. They provide a plug adaptor with USB and USB type-C, however I did not consider that I needed an adaptor for my laptop with China mainland plug type and did not bring mine, and the hotel does not provide one. The bathroom had a bit of mold in some spots, however it was clean and I guess it is normal considering Hong Kong weather and humidity. The service was good and helpful. I would have liked having complementary bottle of waters and in-site laundry room.Considering the position and the price, it is a very good accomodation option and I would stay here again.

This was a nice hotel to stay in. The view from our room was great. Room is small but was comfortable enough to stay in. Location is good for that side of the harbour and close to the train station which makes it easy to get around to anywhere else you need to go. There is a market a few streets back and easy access to shopping centre across the street and the boardwalk along the harbour and under the freeway. I would like to add more photos as they were great, but Trip.com makes it too hard. I'm not spending all my time trying to reduce the size of my photos so they can be uploaded here.

Room is small but good for solo traveling and backpacking. In general, it is good for a budget hotel and an amazing location because it is basically next to a subway station. View from upper level rooms facing the bay is awesome (lowers level view is meh). Staff service is very good. The only really negative review I will give is that soundproof is non existing, you can hear almost everything when there is a connecting door (closed) to another room. In general I enjoyed the hotel a lot. Keep in mind it is a budget hotel

Great stay on our entire trip. Amazing and kind staff. Special thanks to Ken Lai for his effort in helping me surprising my wife on her birthday. Thanks also to the lady staff on the breakfast buffet (she's a Filipina, sorry forgot her name) for her warm hospitality.

The check-in and check-out processes were easy. But staff do not seem to be very approachable compared with other Accor hotels I have been to, but they're doing their job nonetheless. The location of the hotel is great.

Airport Bus stops infront of the hotel There is also a new shopping mall infront where u can eat and buy groceries Best part is there is a waterfront walkway where u can jog in the morningThe only thing I did NOT like about this hotel is the SMELLY pillows as soon as I entered the room there was already this very strong nasty foul smell like that of a person who did not showered for weeks The housekeeping did NOT change the sheets for the new guest because when I asked all linens to be changed the smell was gone. Also the TV is very small it has been like that since 2000 and the Elevator is quite slow. I dont like the closet coz I couldnt hang my long clothes. But all in all I think its great value for money staying in this hotel Will definitely come back. Please provide shower cap as this is essential like the slippers.

Yelp
Ibis North Point is in Hong Kong's North Point neighborhood and is within walking distance of the MTR Stations. My wife and I have stayed there a few times mainly because of the price and convenient location since we have friends/family who live all over Hong Kong. The rooms are small and cheap, but it gets the job done. In North Point there are a lot of good places to eat and hang out. Good place to go on a budget.

Yelp
My regular stay in Hong Kong as its convenient and it provides a comfortable stay. As Hong Kong's hotels are one of the most expensive in Asia, it's difficult to find a decent place that doesn't cost an "arm" for it - if you know what I mean. As a frequent solo traveller, I am particular about about priced and won't pay more than US $100 for a single room per night. However, in Hong Kong, I have to make it an exception. I paid around this price for my last few trips over here and let me share with you it's pros and cons. Located at Hong Kong Island, Northpoint. It's just a few minutes from the bus terminal and a minute walk to the MTR station. Going to Kowloon from there is convenient, usually I take the MTR to Admiralty and change line, so no worries about the transport. Only thing is getting from airport to the hotel may be far and it takes around an hour and 20 minutes both ways but still you get to enjoy the view while traveling pass the roads of Hong Kong. As for the hotel, there are 2 lifts and it takes forever to wait when you are your floor depending on which level you are. The higher you are the better it is for you. Why? If you are stuck in the middle, usually when lift reaches to your floor, it's full and you have to wait for a while before finally getting into it. Frustrating it can be, so usually I take the lift up and then down to ground floor. As for the room, it's of a typical small size - standard for HK. For the kind of price, I can get bigger rooms elsewhere but that's something I have to get used to. Other than that, the room is clean and comfortable and WiFi connection is stable. Overall, I enjoy this hotel and won't hesitate to return.

Yelp
30 seconds to North point station. Convenient and easy access. But the bed was very narrow and small.

Yelp
There aren't many options in North Point and Ibis is centrally located in North Point. There are lots of small eateries downstairs which makes it very convenient. The hotel is located next to the MTR station and the two rooms that I stayed in had an amazing view of the harbor. It's a budget hotel so don't set your expectations high. The rooms are small - it's essentially the size of the bed and a desk about the size of an iron board by the window. The bathrooms are old but it gets the job done. I had to switch rooms during my 3 nights stay and the front desk handle it very well. They did their best to have the room ready for me as early as possible so that my transition was early in the day and wouldn't disrupt my tourist schedule. I did have to push it a bit but I appreciated that they responded and acted accordingly. It was much appreciated. I would stay here again.

Yelp
I loved my little room overlooking the harbor. I was on the 15th floor and could not hear any of the construction going on across the street. If it's a hotel they're building, the harbor view here won't be available for long. My room was clean + tiny; the bathroom might feel cramped for some (standing shower right next to toilet). It's not new + shiny and there are no fancy amenities (wall-mounted shower gel dispenser, no shower cap provided), but everything worked, and I'd rather stay here than in a Travelodge-type place in the US. Some of the rooms have idiosyncrasies; the door to my cousin's room (1513) had to be yanked shut + their safe didn't work. For US travelers: this bed is a lot harder than the typical US hotel bed, even though it had a 2-inch mattress topper. There are only 2 small elevators, so sometimes you have to wait a bit and cram in with other travellers. Also, be prepared to wait at the front desk; there's only 1-2 staff working there. I'm ok with all of this because I just wanted a clean place to sleep. The hotel is worth the price + close to MTR. **For people sensitive to scents: this hotel has a noticeable fragrance throughout (my companions didn't notice it though), similar to Aloft hotels in US.
