ibis Lugano Paradiso

We had an awesome experience at ibis Lugano Paradiso! It wasn't too far from the old town, and the neighborhood felt safe. The rooms were great, had everything we needed. The only complain we had was the noise of what we think was a door closing multiple times in the hallway and it shook the walls. We told the receptionist at the time, but he couldn't locate from where the sound came from unfortunetly. The staff was very welcoming and open to us. We'll come back for sure!

A very warm welcome on arrival, very helpful staff. Rooms are a very good size and clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. There is a supermarket very close by. A fantastic location to get to the lake, head out of the hotel to your right, walk to the end, turn left, it is right infront of you. Promenade walk is stunning, lots of high end shops. Breakfast has a good selection. Would recommend this hotel.

The location is great, if you like to be close to the mountains and the lake. The funicular that brings you up on the mountain is a few steps just outside the hotel, one minute walk. The lake is about 4-5 minutes away by foot. The rooms are alright, althou I did miss a small refrigerator. What I did not like is the hair dryer, it is ridiculous. It took me fifteen minutes to dry my hair, I can only imagine how long it takes for someone who has longer hair, probably at least half an hour. The shower was loud, the shower cabinet itself looks like a capsule placed in the room, kinda funny.

Would probably stay again if the price is okay. Bed had a mattress topper which was quite soft but could feel the very hard bed underneath. Room was definitely a little old with an od design and missing a few things like a fridge. Location was good with public transit nearby, grocery stores and the lake. Easy access to the mountain and I'd recommend a bus / hike instead of the very expensive funicular

Perfectly fine hotel/room. Individual roo. Setting for AC would have been great but otherwise no complaints.

Rooms are clean and equipped with basic amenities ( tv , hairdryer, towels and kettle). No fridge or water provided. Great location in Lugano Paradiso very close to the funicular taking you to mount San Salvatore (must see!!!). Overpriced snacks.

A standard ibis hotel, clean room but small.. good breakfast. It shared the complex with ibis budget and Novotel and it has a huge underground parking, even though quite expensive.. well, like most things in Switzerland I guess There were some restaurants and take away nearby.

The rooms are small and cramped. There is see-through glass in the shower that looks into the bedroom. The shower has no doors, so the area is cold. The shower fixtures were difficult to operate The bed did not provide adequate support for a good night's rest The food was poorly prepared and not enough of it
