ibis Lugano Paradiso

I recently stayed at Ibis Paradiso and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent — very convenient for getting around and close to everything you might need. The price is also great value, especially considering the quality of service provided. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to choose from. I also appreciated the cleanliness throughout the hotel — both the room and common areas were very well maintained. Overall, I highly recommend Ibis Paradiso for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a fantastic location, reasonable prices, tasty food, and cleanliness you can trust. I would definitely come back again!

Great Choice and a great place to stay. The Rooms are clean and smells fresh. Comfy Bed and You have a lot of choices for the Breakfast to start your Day. My Family had a great stay and would definitely come back for their service again.

An Ibis, so no surprises, all you need, comfortable and very clean. Good location in a pleasant part of Lugano, 5 minute walk to the lakeside and a 5 minute walk to the San Salvatore funicular for brilliant views

We had an awesome experience at ibis Lugano Paradiso! It wasn't too far from the old town, and the neighborhood felt safe. The rooms were great, had everything we needed. The only complain we had was the noise of what we think was a door closing multiple times in the hallway and it shook the walls. We told the receptionist at the time, but he couldn't locate from where the sound came from unfortunetly. The staff was very welcoming and open to us. We'll come back for sure!

I would like to report an issue that occurred during my check-in at Ibis Budget Lugano. My reservation showed a total price of £109, which included £10 city tax and 4% VAT. However, upon arrival at reception, the staff member (with a name tag “Daniel”) insisted that I needed to pay the city tax again, despite me showing him multiple times that it was already included in my Booking.com reservation. He claimed that this was a mistake on Booking.com and that I was obliged to pay. After consulting with another staff member (possibly the manager), he returned without his name tag, which I found very unprofessional. When I informed him that I would contact Booking.com and leave a review, they stopped responding and offered no further explanation. I kindly request Booking.com to investigate this issue, as the advertised price on your platform clearly indicated that city tax was already included. I would also appreciate your assistance in ensuring I am not overcharged.

A very warm welcome on arrival, very helpful staff. Rooms are a very good size and clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. There is a supermarket very close by. A fantastic location to get to the lake, head out of the hotel to your right, walk to the end, turn left, it is right infront of you. Promenade walk is stunning, lots of high end shops. Breakfast has a good selection. Would recommend this hotel.

The location is great, if you like to be close to the mountains and the lake. The funicular that brings you up on the mountain is a few steps just outside the hotel, one minute walk. The lake is about 4-5 minutes away by foot. The rooms are alright, althou I did miss a small refrigerator. What I did not like is the hair dryer, it is ridiculous. It took me fifteen minutes to dry my hair, I can only imagine how long it takes for someone who has longer hair, probably at least half an hour. The shower was loud, the shower cabinet itself looks like a capsule placed in the room, kinda funny.
