Great stay good rapport with staff got upgraded room with a view of Las Ventas

I had a great experience at this hotel. It's clean, central, well-decorated, offers a nice breakfast, and has friendly staff. That said, it does not offer anything luxurious if that is what you are looking for. I would recommend them and would consider staying there for my next stay in Madrid.

Not what I expected: - unfriendly staff (question: "can my room be made before 2pm?" rude reply: "No!".). Totally inappropriate behaviour. - no heating in the room! (in Madrid from November to April temperatures below 5 Celsius are not unusual). They don't offer electric heating at the reception. And blankets are super thin. So, if you want to catch a cold, stay there for a couple of nights! - a Mini-TV, 4 meters from bed fixed at the wall between the two windows - shabby, run down rooms in need of renovation. Windows not sound proofed, party zone noise all night long. -no room safe, no hand towels, no real coffee (only 3 sachets decaffeinated coffee but 15 sachets of sugar). - housekeeping: towels on the floor not replaced, no new coffee - breakfast area totally uninspired, between reception desk, stored luggage, hotel guests walking in and out and the lift. And all that for rates of more than 125 Euro per night. A big disappointment.

Nice room , Big space very spacious room very close to the city center as well and close to the subway. Everything is nearby and lots of restaurants around. The room is very quiet also, except the air conditioner, which was a little bit noisy, but it was fine still to sleep

I stayed in this hotel last week. The location is great and the room is comfortable. However, my experience there wasn’t good. The staff are very unfriendly. The receptionist asks for the id of the customers at night and says that guests are not welcome! I’m a digital nomad and I’ve been working from over 30 countries since the pandemic, always staying in hotels. It was the first time that happened, especially in a famous brand like Ibis. Of course I will not go back there!

Ibis promises, Ibis delivers. This one, on the plus side, is at a marvelous location in Malasaña hip neighborhood and has the most lovely staff possible (thanks to Celine for making our stay so pleasant). Rooms were super comfortable, super clean, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast buffet is pretty normal but price is decent (9,50/person). Just keep in mind the restaurant area is small and may get crowded some mornings, though nothing to worry about. Overall, terrific stay, super recommend!

I am a professional conference organiser and I stay in many hotels, this one was for holidays not business. It was a pleasure. What lovey hotel staff you have. They were always very friendly, helpful and with a smile. The hotel has a very nice ambience, in fact it did not feel like an Ibis hotel... Very comfortable hotel. Nice bathroom and especially the shower. Good internet. Nice decour. But what made it the best was your people. They should be congratulated. Thank you for making my stay a good one. (I had just come from a 4 star hotel from a conference in another city.... terrible , this was so much better!

The lobby is modern and customer service is very good. They explained us everything about hotel and services and offered info about the city. Room had plenty of room and it was clean. Perfect to stay in this hotel with the family. It's not far away from the nicest stores and there are plenty of restaurants around where you can walk and eat.

Location, location, location! This hotel is in the thick of it & In the Malasaña area which is student friendly and has bakeries, cafes, and shops. It was sold out for most of my visit but I managed to book for my last night. I arrived around noon on a Friday and was greeted by one of the friendly employees that took my information and checked me in via mobile phone. She offers me a full breakfast for 8 Euros which I declined although it was a good offer. They had a bar in the reception area with a small lounge in the front lobby area. I had a room with a city view so I asked for the highest floor and got the top (4th). The room was a decent size and just right. I had a double bed. TV could have been bigger. Laminate (non carpeted) floors were a plus. They didn't have a safe in the room although a safe is available for use in the luggage room. The street below can get loud and has a lot of foot traffic especially on the weekend. On a Friday night I could hear the crowds very late in the evening although I was on the top floor. Overall, great value for money with a great location within walking distance of a few of the local attractions.

As usual, this hotel got the really standard what a Ibis hotel looks like, but compared to the Ibis they also got their own extra color. Although the hotel itself isn't that big. But the managed to pull everything together. The lobby is a bit small. And connect to the bar, quite easy to grab a drink. The room my partner and I were staying were quite big actually. But we knew that was one of the biggest rooms they got in the building. I like it anyway. I think it was just the right size. The only thing I find it pity is that they don't have a safe in the room. So I had to run to the lobby for that. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast buffet here. I got a really nice impression from the pictures online. Usually, I am not a picky person, when it is about breakfast. But they missed out one of the important things of breakfast. Egg! Didn't see any scramble egg or boiled egg. Well, I did found the local favour, egg with potato. But they were just not the same. I like the staff here. They are very passionate and friendly. I think that's quite important, if the employee happy or not. It does so how good is the place can be. I am glad with the staying here. Oh, one more thing, remember to push the button of the lift, until the lift get to the ground. Otherwise it just won't work.

This hotel is very unfriendly to tourist the staff are so rude and you won't even see a single smile on their faces, never will I recommend this hotel to anybody. I stayed in 7 hotels and this is the worst hotel in the 18 days I ever stayed here in Madrid. I gave it a 1 star because it's clean but otherwise I could have given them a zero.

Clean, value-for-money hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location; easy to walk all over.
