I’m generally a big fan of the Ibis hotel chain, but definitely not this particular property. Honestly, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in any Ibis hotel.
The biggest issue by far was the humidity level and the air quality inside the room—it was absolutely miserable. I couldn’t breathe properly, and it felt heavy and damp all the time. Just imagine trying to rest in that environment.
That said, there were also some positives:
The room itself was good in terms of size for what I paid.
The mattress was comfortable and the shower was excellent.
Big parking area, which is always a plus in Dubai.
The location is great—surrounded by lots of restaurants, spas, and very close to Mall of the Emirates.
They also offered me a late checkout, which I appreciated.
Overall, while there are some good aspects, the air quality issue overshadowed everything else for me. I love this hotel chain, but I will not be staying at this specific Ibis again.
