The hotel is located close to the main points of interest and can be a good option for a short stay — but only for a single traveller. We were two people, a mother and an adult son, and the twin room we received was nothing like what we expected. In reality, it was clearly a single room with a bed that had originally been one unit; it looked as if the staff had simply separated it for us. As a result, one bed blocked the desk completely, making it unusable, and the other was pushed tightly against the wall. There was no real possibility to make tea, even though we had a kettle, and reaching the power outlets was a challenge. Overall, the room felt uncomfortably cramped. What made the experience even more disappointing was the “gold status” welcome gift — just two very cheap candies. The breakfast restaurant was overcrowded, and I had to wait about 10 minutes for an omelette (although I want to thank the young woman working there who tried her best to help and comfort me — she was the only pleasant interaction during the stay). The receptionist, on the other hand, was rude and unprofessional. I did not feel any hospitality from the hotel this time, even though my previous stay here had been perfect. Unfortunately, after such an unwelcoming experience, I doubt I would choose this hotel again. I cannot recommend it.

On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean . ​Unfortunately, the quality of sleep was poor. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and the two pillows provided were equally unpleasant to sleep on. It was quite a struggle to get a good night's rest. ​Overall, it is a nice hotel with great service, well located but the bed and pillows definitely need an upgrade.

Hotel was great. Good location and ideal for getting into the main square with there being a tram stop outside the hotel but also a good enough location that it is a quiet area around the hotel. Room was great no issues! would stay here again on a return visit to Poznan!

Fantastic hotel. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was plentiful with a large choice of hot and cold food, kept topped up. I had two meals in restaurant in evening and they were good, local takeaway on classics. Staff friendly and helpful. Room modern, well cared for and clean. Situated 10 minutes outside old town centre, with buses and trams on door step, in quiet greenery.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only two downsides. Firstly no kettles in the rooms and reception were not able to provide a kettle. Secondly the breakfast area became overcrowded & overwhelmed on Saturday & Sunday, ie queues for coffee, seating and shortages of breads. Monday morning breakfast was much more enjoyable and relaxing.

There were one night in this hotel. Outwardly, the number is the same as in the three stars of the same network. The bed and linen are excellent, there is soap in the shower. But there are disadvantages, there is no kettle, there is no garbage bucket in the room, there are no sockets near the bed, in the room itself it smelled strongly than sweet and the most terrible hairdryer. It can hardly be called a hairdryer, more like a piece of a hose from a vacuum cleaner that blows into a small hole. The place where the hand holds the hairdryer heats up very much. This is not a hair dryer, but a mockery of people .In general, we liked the hotel and even the breakfast is delicious and diverseth

Stayed a week, primarily to attend a rowing regatta. The hotel is well located - 40 min walk to the grandstands (finish line) at Malta Lake and a 15 min walk to the old town square. The hotel is quiet, rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is very good.

The Ibis Poznan Stare Miastro is a budget hotel less than a mile from the Old Town, which you can easily walk to or take a ridiculously cheap uber or taxi.|All staff are quite friendly, most speak English although on occasion you will need to repeat your question, but still good for a second language.|The hotel restaurant is surprisingly good with a varied menu at reasonable prices.|The rooms are clean and spacious with bathrooms on suite. Both the bedroom and bathroom are quite dated and in need of some cosmetic updating.|Very reasonably priced.
