The location is very good, easily accessible from the motorway entering Prague from the south. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are neat and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, for a hotel that presents itself as pricier than a budget hotel (something that is also reflected in the reception area and the systems used throughout the building), the furniture inside the room is a bit cheap (mismatched colours and shades of wood). And if you travel by car together with a dog, the charges for the Ibis underground parking and the dog are almost as much as the room itself. So yes, it is good if you are in transit and just need a place to rest, but if I were to spend an entire holiday in Prague, I would probably look for another accommodation. Also, despite the staff being helpful and nice, before we arrived at the hotel, we were stuck in a traffic jam on the motorway in Hungary and we tried calling the hotel four times to announce this, but no one answered, so when the motorway was opened again, we continued our journey not knowing whether we would make it in time to keep the reservation.

A typical Ibis hotel, but more on the budget side of their range. A small room (620) with a bed, a desk, s sitting area and luggage storage. The bed is alright, but the pillows are very soft for my preference and there are no harder ones available. The carpet has seen better days. There are signs of wear and tear everywhere. The shower has a decent pressure. Floor tiles in the bathroom are cracked. WiFi is reliable, although you have to login again every 24 hours. No safe or fridge. There is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Tram to the city centre is within a five minute walking distance or alternatively you can walk to the centre in fifty minutes. A shopping mall is around the corner for breakfast options if you don't want breakfast at the hotel. A couple of lokal and affordable restaurants are in the area. Cheaper than in the centre and at a better quality. If you only want a bed and shower for the night without having to pay much, this is your place.

The hotel’s pros: the location is generally good, breakfast is varied, and the rooms are spacious and clean. However, the most important issue that completely overshadows these positives is the indifference of the staff. Especially at the reception, where guests should be greeted with friendliness and hospitality upon arrival, the staff are indifferent and do not smile, which completely cancels out the other positive aspects. The staff, especially the women, seem like they are about to argue with you at any moment. When you tell the staff in the breakfast hall that the crepe machine is not working, is it better to hear “we’ll check it right away” or a careless “okay, but it’ll only be ready in 10 minutes”? (Especially considering that another staff member managed to fix it and make it usable in just one minute.) Cons: • No chocolate at breakfast. • No face towels in the room. • The pillows feel like half-used flour sacks. Not comfortable at all. • No tea/coffee set in the room. • No slippers in the room.

Location is excellent with tram, bus and metro close. Also multitude of shops and restaurants almost next door. Room was clean but so small there was no space to open luggage except on a bed. The hotel was peaceful and staff were nice. Traffic noise was a bit too much due to inadequate window seals and we had trouble sleeping. Breakfast was good and worth the price. All in all I recommend this especially at hotter season because it has AC.

I was contemplating between 3 and 4 stars, because truth be told, Ibis is a very basic hotel. Then again the value for the money was pretty nice as the hotel was clean and in a very good location. Also the breakfast was suprisingly nice. Staff was also nice and offered us a very early check-in as out flight arrived early in the morning. So four stars it is. ||The rooms have signs of wear and tear, but are very clean. No separate handtowels, which was a bit of a suprise. Our room was close to the elevators, and this coused some noise as the sounds from the corridor carry through the doors. So would recommend getting a room further down the corridor.||There is a tram stop and metro station located nearby. Also a large mall is just around the corner. We explored the city walking, as the hotel is within a walking distance from the main attractions in Prague. Nice stay all in all, so if you are ok with a basic hotel and looking for a good value for money, this hotel is a solid choice.

Basic room without fridge or safe. Bed comfortable, but pillows to soft. Good shower. Cleaning can be improved. Some wear and tear (cracked floortiles in bathroom and dirty carpet in room). WiFi dependable. Small restaurant/bar at reception. Close to shopping mall and public transport. Some good local restaurants in the area. A budget hotel for sleeping and showering.

Google
Clean, well appointed for our stay. Exactly waht we were looking for. Staff incredibly helpful and respectful- loved that everyone I spoke with was able to communicate in my language, even though I was not able to communicate in theirs. Service was great. Definitely recommend and definitely would stay again.

Google
Budget hotel. Room was what was expected and was clean apart from hair in bed. Worst pillow I have ever had at a hotel, asked for more and was bought exactly the same. Bathroom was dated and dirty, towels were clean. Very noisy all night from traffic and metro. Horrendous nights sleep. Very very hot. Good location, very central and good transport links.

Yelp
It is a good price hotel. The rooms are small, you will get 2 medium size towels. The room does it's job. I was pleased. The breakfast is good. There is a variety of food items. My only issue is that if you don't eat dairy, there is no options, but again! I am traveling so i was not expecting having these options. I just adjusted! Overall, this is a good place

Yelp
Part of the IBIS brand chain, located specifically where south Malá Strana meets Smíchov. 225 rooms here, and only 2.8 kilometers from Old Town. So easy to get around from affordable hotel. Considered mediocre in pricing, it is located in a very busy area of Praha 5, the hotel is off a ways from the main thoroughfare, and definitely could hear some of the city, which was fine. Can walk to everything once you leave the doors. Tram stop just a ways away. Bit of a biz budget hotel, where rooms are quite small (think European standards) and nothing too fancy. Funny finding a bottle opened on the wall...for all of those beer lovers. Standard features in room. Hotel was quite warm in temperature, as I found it. Lobby downstairs is somewhat smallish. Full breakfast buffet daily in the mornings, with above average offerings. One can easily eat at least 10 different things and be full for a good 6-8 hours, no problem! Found hotel staff to be unremarkable, but definitely not out of their way to be inviting and accommodating. Nabbed a week deal for an unbelievable price. PS Closest Metro: Anděl, line B

Yelp
I stayed for three nights at this hotel while visiting Prague. It is located in Mala Strana but it is an easy walk to Old Town or Prague Castle. The metro is right there as well as that tram but I did not use them. The hotel is basic but the bathroom was ok, wifi signal was strong, and I didn't find the area noisy. Overall good choice compared to much more expensive hotels located in Old Town.

Yelp
It's was an amazing stay in this nice and clean hotel. The people at the reception were extremely helpful and friendly.

Yelp
It's definitely a place to stay but if you're expecting a 4 star hotel, this is more like a 3 star motel. The breakfast is the best thing of this place with a side bar for alcohol. The staff's service is poor but it maybe a cultural thing. They don't provide any additional information about your stay or where to go so do your homework! You get a nice size bed, 2 pillows, 2 towels, a floor towel, and 2 soaps-one for the sink and other for the shower(they are locked and can not be removed). No refrigerator, no lotions , etc...I don't mind the basic accommodations but please, don't advertise you're a 4 star hotel. TIPS WHEN TRAVELING TO PRAGUE 1) take an Uber (I was overcharged by a cab and because I arrived exhausted, I didn't realized he stole my coats) 2) ALWAYS ASK FOR A RECEIPT 3) take some of the local currency but if possible pay with card( when I paid with local currency, my change with given to me in local currency no longer in circulation) 4) stay closer to old town 5) watch out for people saying they are lost holding a paper map covering your visibility. Pick pockets! 6) anyone holding a paper close to your face can steal your belongings easy if your sitting eating 7) keep all belongings on you 8) ask they accept payment in cards

Yelp
If I could give less stars, I would. We arrived late. Our room looked creepy. Like an insane asylum room. Handicapped accessible , which is great if you need it, but we don't. I fell asleep. Woke up. Started to pack immediately to get out of there. I showered. The water went all over the bathroom which I get Bc it's accessible but then it drained under the carpet into the bedroom. We left to eat breakfast and my husband told the manager that we wanted to check out but he Said no refunds. He offered us another room but the first one was so gross why would we try another one? When we went back in the room it smelled like dirty sheets. Bags packed. Good bye ibis! It's in a poor location too. If you book, make them show you your room first. Gross! It's a new day. Rise and shine ibis or throw in the towel and figure something else out ! Huge no thank you

Yelp
It is amazing, what European hotels can do with such little space. Our room at the Ibis in Prague was teeny, yet manageable enough for two people. And all the things that I need in a hotel were readily available - good water pressure and water that heated up quickly, free wi-fi, and even a decent continental breakfast (watch out for those eggs, though). Another bonus - it's close to some local transit stops. It's a nice place to stay, but hopefully you won't spend too much time here and instead will be seeing the sights in Prague!

Yelp
What a fantastic location and at a great price! Free wifi with excellent strong signal, free breakfast, step outside and you are in a main enter of old town , literally 100 yards from the team so super convenient. Only drawbacks are smaller size room, no grudge or coffee maker... But for this price and location it's still a great deal. I would stay here again.
