Google
Stayed for a week at Ibis Styles Brisbane and had a good overall experience. The location on Elizabeth Street is really strategic — close to the business area, easy to access, and well situated for walking around the city. Rooms are clean, well kept, and follow a standardized mid-range hotel style. Staff were helpful and polite. I recommend asking for a southwest-facing room for a nice view of the Brisbane River. Breakfast is available but quite pricey if you walk in. Amenities are limited, but the room comes with useful basics like a kettle, hair dryer, and ironing board.

Great experience overall. Very nice room with an awesome view. Fantastic staff. My only suggestion would be to track customer stays better so that when they opt for the late check out, you don't cancel their key cards while they are still using them. And, given the quality of the water in the building, it would probably be a good idea to provide some bottled water.

Can't beat the location for access to everything either by foot or the city's great bus system or Uber. Solo retired older female traveler. King bed room small but efficient gorgeous expensive view of river from 21st floor. Bed comfy. Pillows too big and too firm (not a unique complaint of hotel pillows for me.) Great shower. Cons: TV only has a handful of TV channels, maybe it's cable not sure. Point is ZERO apps on the screen. I spent a while figuring out how to use the apps on my mobile phone via a VPN (bought ExpressVPN for a month worked like a charm to access my USA based apps) cast to the hotel TV to watch the Open. The restaurant is dark and depressing feels like I'm in a basement with low ceilings, few windows and cheap furniture. The "bar" is a counter with alcohol on the wall behind it; aka no sitting at the bar. But at least there was alcohol. The food for breakfast and an evening snack was dull. I wouldn't venture a full evening meal there and the only reason I ate breakfast there a 2nd time was laziness on my part.

Booked as a last minute stay due to flight cancellation but really enjoyed the central location and whilst the room was small it was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent too. Only slight detractors to overall score was that because the shower pressure was so strong/good it would cause the hand handle shower head to move in the holder to where it was shooting the water horizontally, couldn’t adjust this. Also the acoustic design of the breakfast area causes the room to be incredibly loud with people’s conversations bouncing off the walls, some more plants might help with this.

Thank you for the care and attention you give your guests, food and comfortable environment. Our holiday was such a pleasant one, because of this hotel! I felt really at home and safe because of the care and attention given by staff and the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. Of course I took common sense approaches like locking my door at night and not letting my daughter wander around without me. However I only had positive experiences while staying here, and in fact I couldn't wait sometimes to spend more time in our room!

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was super comfortable—clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city, close to restaurants, shops. I was able to walk pretty much everywhere, which made exploring super convenient. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The staff was friendly and efficient, and I was in and out in just a few minutes both times. No hassle at all. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Great value, great location, and a smooth experience from start to finish!

Location is perfect. View from the room is amazing. Rooms are clean and comfy. Staff are very helpful, courteous and patient. Restaurant is really good. Restaurant staff gives great customer service. Steak is consistently done perfectly. Other food are well cooked and delicious. Buffet is good for the price. Will definitely return.

I received a warm welcome at the front desk from Stephan when I checked in. He was polite, helpful and answered my enquiries of the hotel facilities professionally. The staff seemed to have prepared for all guests arrival for the day and was fast to retrieve my booking without much difficulty. The process was fuss free and I quickly settled in the room. Room was clean and dust free. Location of the hotel was superb. The GM wrote personalised welcome card for the guest. Will definitely return again. Thank you.

Yelp
The place is clean and modern. The room was very small. Good location for exploring the city. We had room 606 and we could hear the band playing at the Irish bar next door until 1am. The laundry was out of service. We had breakfast buffet. It included eggs, bacon, dumplings, fresh fruit, yogurt, variety of nuts, fresh ground coffee machine. There is a view of the street from the second floor restaurant.

Yelp
Definitely the nicest Ibis I have ever stayed at, but most do not have 'Styles' in their name. Rather pricey, but this stay was only booked a few days before the stay, and comparable on price at the time to other Brisbane Hotels. Booked two rooms for myself and a business colleague, one was ready at 12pm the other wasn't ready till the normal 2pm. Both had great views and were a nice size. Fixed toiletries which I hate. As an Accor Platinum member, I expected more than one welcome drink, usually receive two per room. No welcome treat, usually a fruit platter and chocolate box, nothing. First stay at an Accor property where I haven't received something. Not even bottles of complementary water. Great location to Queens Street Mall & the new Casino precinct. Though a bit of a walk to Eagle Street Pier & Howard Smith Wharves. Buffet Breakfast was terrible, with watery and runny scrambled eggs, there just didn't seem like much to choose from. Spreads like vegemite and peanut butter consisted of open jars with communal knives in them for everyone to share the same knife, most un-appealing. Pastries were terrible in choice and taste. Only cold meat was ham. Only orange juice was filled, though had 4 juice selections, terrible fruit. Most staff (except one) seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves then be attentive to food available or the guests. Barista made coffee came with a cost, which is most unusual, for any Hotel I have stayed, Accor or not. Great wifi throughout. If you need a nice room in Brisbane, Ibis Styles is fine. But don't expect much more, and don't leave it to book at the last minute, as this stay was a genuine rip off. Reception staff were friendly, though only interaction was for checkin, using fast checkout when I left. If I was a non-Accor member, I would not have the same expectations, but I am, hence the lower grade.

Yelp
Very modern fancy! Great sections! Better than my house! I love it! Check in was a bit long tho!

Yelp
The IBIS is nothing flash but it's clean, comfortable and it's in a great location. My room on Level 20 has sweeping views of the Brisbane River and looked across to the Wheel of Brisbane. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom basic, clean and modern. I also dined in the level 1 restaurant with a colleague - the food was nothing to rave about. A lot of deep fried and processed food made in a hurry. The chicken schnitzel was like something out of the freezer, so too the crumbed calamari. There are better dining options in the Queen St Mall just behind the hotel. And as for the free wifi referred to in other reviews, I had no such luck. I had to pay $10 for Standard internet access for 24 hours. Superior internet cost $15 for 24 hours.

Yelp
The hotel is located in the central part of Brisbane. The hotel is supposed to be a modern IBIS hotel. Great location and should be a good place. The rooms are small. The things in the room are really basic. There is no water provided. There were no paper towels for powdering, ... The operation of the hotel is a disaster. On the days I was there three of the four elevators broke down. It took forever to get to your room and to get out. One day they did not clean my room! Really! and the service at breakfast was poor, the coffee maker was broken on 2 of the days. They charged me $35 for early check-in and ended up charging me $35 extra for every night. This could be a great hotel if operated in a proper manner.

Yelp
The Reception staff are friendly, welcoming and check-in is a breeze. As soon as I opened the door to my suite, I felt at home. The room is nicely appointed and bed is very comfortable. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Myer Centre and the Queen Street Mall. I can not fault Ibis Styles Brisbane and when I come back to Brisbane; I will be booking this Hotel again. 5 stars.

Yelp
Walking into that hotel you could tell it was on the higher end side. The lobby was very colorful and in a way abstract. We got a room with a view but the size of the room was smaller than usual. Everything was only one step away from each other like the bed to the table, the bed to the TV, and the bed to the bathroom was at most three steps. The room itself was neat and again very colorful and modern. They don't have complimentary WiFi or breakfast but they're right next to a shopping complex where you can get food either from the food court or the grocery store. If you walk a little farther they sometimes have breakfast stores and a little farmers marketplace. I liked the hotel itself with the design and service but I don't think I would stay here again.

Yelp
If your looking for a short stay in Brisbane then this hotel will suffice, with free wifi, 11am check out and make sure you ask for a corner room with the river view it's awesome and upgrade to the full buffet breakfast. The negative was bad customer service in the bar cafe as the girl was in a bad mood and it took us 15 mins to have our drink delivered. We left after that and went elsewhere to drink. Overall not a bad place to stay if you want accommodation on a budget.

Yelp
Smooth as silk check in. Great location. Close to eats & short walk to convention center about 1km away across river & bridge. Right on CBD so easy to have meetings with offices in CBD. I didn't have breakfast as has breakfast meetings. Continental breakfast included. Extra $15 for hot breakfast. Didn't use car parking and this by third parties. I did catch the bus from airport & would suggest the train due to the traffic delays at office hours if u don't have a lot of luggage. I used the gym twice but needs aircond and bring your own towels. Small rooms with all the basics. Nice bright colours.

Yelp
Location is by a big mall. Hotel uses the mall parking. Some of the elevators (lifts) in the parking lot has time restrictions, could be a bit weird to get out if you come in late at night. 7 eleven and restaurant right outside. Location is pretty convenient. The hotel room is very clean and quite. The staff might be a lil snobby tho. But still highly recommended overall.

Yelp
Newer hotel but still much to be desired. I'll start with the positives and that it's in a GREAT location. Walking to Southbank and all of the CBD couldnt be easier! The front desk staff was pleasant and friendly, always happy to help. The breakfast is solid and the happy hour is actually one of the best deals in the area that we found. That being said, the rooms were VERY small leaving not much space for anyone traveling on an extended holiday. The bath room design was poor, the shower and bathroom shared a floor, shower water effortlessly ran under the door and all over the bathroom floor despite numerous towels. We observed wet cloths and an ironing board laying in our hallway for at least 2 days. There was also a very offensive perfumed smell in the lobby that made each trip in or out a bit nauseating. It seemed as though only about 4 people worked the entirety of the hotel and bless them for coming into the funk of the lobby everyday! The hotel tries to present itself as "boutique" or upscale but the size and design of the rooms and the cheap gimmicks of projections and offensive odors make you feel as though its just lipstick on a pig here. There's plenty of options in the area, perhaps consider those before deciding on this.
