It was in a secluded place far from city. My family liked the room and my kid was excited when he saw the instructions of Smart TV including free Netflix and other streaming services. However, TV wasn't having any internet connection. Even Wifi connection didn't work and Reception team was not at all helpful in getting it sorted. Phone service wasn't working from room so we walked to reception and asked them to sort it out. The reception team responded that they were not even aware that the rooms have Smart TV and he is just doing his job to stand at reception, nothing else. When we insisted, he went inside to talk to his manager (not sure who was there), and came with a response that it will get sorted in 20-30 minutes and they will call. My kid kept waiting till late in the night and finally slept. He picked the feedback form in morning and listed out all the problems in the room, hopefully someone will consider the feedback. We headed to the Breakfast and I must say that the staff there were really helpful taking care of dairy allergies and a very nice Coffee served by the person in-charge. It would have deserved a 1 star rating but due to the coffee, I would give it a 3 star feedback.

Check in was easy. Unfortunately booking.com advertised indoor pool and spa however this is only available to suite guests(not hotels fault). Carpet needed good vacuum, chewing gum wrapper under the kids bed and crumbs. Carpets need a good clean. Beds were nicely made and clean very comfortable. Showers appeared to have hard water stains. I would advise removing the carpet in kitchen area due to horrible staining. Otherwise bar service was good. We found our room easily. Couldn’t hear the neighbours. Toilet was clean. Only hard water stained. Enjoyed a game of pool together at the bar however only one que worked.

I would say in general the level of service provided is very good according to the rate paid for. The only negative comment I have & took my review to 2 is the disinfection of the toilet. The smell of toilet was not good as it never been disinfected for week at least. I am not sure this is a general comment for all the hotel or it was just related to my room. I think I will book one more time & see how it goes.

I booked room in Ibis styles Canberra given its location, I was called and informed that the hot water is not working and that they could not find plumber. I informed thats okay we will be fine with cold water then the receptionist said there is not even cold and would transfer me to Eagle hawk, did not inform that it was in the middle of nowhere.. no uber ( I was not driving) and no restaurant. I was with my parents, showing them around Canberra, wanted them to have good time but all we got was cramped room with disappointing food at the restaurant with manager with attitude problems, getting upset while I was asking simple questions. There was not wifi, poor network. I wanted my parents to have good time but what I got was cramped room, no phone service, no room service. Trust me when I say I would have gone to other hotels if I got car with me; the whole situation made me feel helpless and horrible… made my whole trip miserable. I don’t write reviews, never did.. but this time I feel I have to. Disappointing and disgusting

I had a fantastic experience staying at Ibis Styles Canberra Eaglehawk. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my visit. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful location surrounded by nature made it feel like a perfect escape from the city, yet still close enough to Canberra. The facilities were excellent from the swimming pool and gym to the lovely walking paths around the property. A big thank you to the housekeeping and maintenance team for keeping everything in top condition. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay near Canberra. Will definitely come back again👍🏼

Ok guys this is going to be a long review. But I want everyone to be prepared if they decide to go to ibis styles canberra. I truly believe in my heart these guys deserve to loose a star. I have a 9 night booking, to which I was going to b late for check in, so late in fact that is was the next day. But I called 3-4 times making sure I wasn't driving from Sydney to Canberra to a booking that had been cancelled. I was assured it was ok, every time I call. Wen I got here I was told I lost the booking. They put me in a room for the night and going to be put in the 2 bed apartment i paid for, the next night. Ok fine if thats what's gotta happen. I was put in ther last 2 bed apartment, cause they gave mine away. This is disgusting. I don't think they actually give this place to anyone, I think its last on the list for emergencies. It smells musty and damp. I don't have internet. And don't have any TV apps to watch. Only crappy free to air. Which I don't even watch when I'm at home. Please look carefully at the pictures I'm posting. I'm really disgusted about everything. They blamed me for loosing my room, saying I should have changed arrival in bookings.com But I called the property mant times and they told me it was ok. They did NOT tell me I couldn't change it through a phone call and must change it through booking. They just said yes it will be fine. Then blamed it it on me. I also think they purposely put me in this apartment because I made such a big a deal about it at reception. I tried to keep my cool. But the lady was condescending and told me it was my fault and why am im complaining I didnt even pay much... Oooh wow how dare u say that. I'm still here for another 6 nights and will just have to make the most of it.. I don't even have a normal toilet roll hahahha It's like service station. No bed side lamps in main bedroom. Stains.. 😝 gross They have put new soap dispensers, the same as in the other rooms. But just put white caps everywhere, to cover renovations. I rolled down my blind and its got dead bugs all over it. Over 4 thousand people have put clean reviews up for this place, but I truly don't know how old that is. I'm hoping that other people start putting these reviews up about this place, because they do not deserve all the stars they have. And I just had to add a pic of the roof. My partner being a plasterer, I saw this straight away hahahha Ther is probably alot more i could say, but ill leave it that for now.

Very dirty, I believe I was given the staff crib room, as somebodies well used bar soap was in the shower. Incorrect information regarding restaurant in booking site saw me go without food the first night, no water in the end saw my stay fully comped. Felt very sorry for the lady behind the counter dealing with all the disappointed guests.

Absolutely terrible experience at Ibis Styles on 27th September (Room 311). The air-conditioning was so loud it was impossible to use, leaving the room freezing cold and uncomfortable all night. I complained to reception in the morning, but they showed zero interest in helping. No solution, no apology, nothing. For a hotel that claims to be reputable, this level of service is shocking. We left tired, cold, and very disappointed. Do not waste your money here – if you expect even the most basic level of comfort or customer service, look elsewhere.
