Everything is old and tired. The fan in the bathroom was so noisy that you couldn’t leave it on. You need to “order” your room be serviced by 0900, but they don’t tell you that and check-in. So we put the “come in, we’re out” sign (weird sign if you ask me) expecting the room to be serviced. , and came home to no room serviced. ||The restaurant was less than average. You stand at the “wait to be seated” sign, only to be told to read the menu at the counter and then let him know what you want. Can’t even take it to the table. ||Overall, very unimpressed for an ibis styles hotel

Do not even get me started on this place. I had a school camp here (sometime in November) and I thought it would be great but of course, my expectations were lowered. I had used the mini fridge provided and it was leaking all over the food I had put in there. The shower head and grout were mouldy, the pool was green and the food was extremely oily and DEEPLY unseasoned. There were lipstick stains on two of my friends pillows, one of the beds were broken and one bed had came with a yellow stained comforter. The broken lights were an excellent touch, along with the dead cockroaches under my bed 🤗. DO NOT come here unless you want to be right next to highway with a bunch of roadkill and one hell of a night.

Check in was easy. Unfortunately booking.com advertised indoor pool and spa however this is only available to suite guests(not hotels fault). Carpet needed good vacuum, chewing gum wrapper under the kids bed and crumbs. Carpets need a good clean. Beds were nicely made and clean very comfortable. Showers appeared to have hard water stains. I would advise removing the carpet in kitchen area due to horrible staining. Otherwise bar service was good. We found our room easily. Couldn’t hear the neighbours. Toilet was clean. Only hard water stained. Enjoyed a game of pool together at the bar however only one que worked.

Had to stay here for work so no choice. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, mould on the roof above the shower. I now have a rash on my foot from the shower that i have never had before in my life. The bedspread has a massive oil stain on it on arrival. Th water is disgusting so had to buy bottled water. The place is riddled with bugs and Says “free wifi” it is actually not connected to any network at all. TV was all u can get NO NETFLIX NO OTHER STREAMING SERVICES AT ALL. There is absolutely no way i would pay for this crap joint if i wasn’t working here. On arrival the room stunk mouldy and disgusting. 1/10 is the best review i could give. The pub next door has great food though.

We enjoyed our stay, and the food at the restaurant was delicious.The only improvement I would suggest is that the shower gel was running low, which made it difficult to pump out.

We booked a room here as a quick stop over on our drive up to Sydney. The location was great as it’s out of Canberra and made for an easy exit in the morning. And boy did we make an early exit. It was the sort of place I didn’t want to touch too many things. Def didn’t use the shower. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was a fly in the bathroom. The bunk bed frame was broken but my son was still able to sleep on it. The restaurant wasn’t open when we stayed so probably a good thing. We opted to get takeaways from Dickson and eat in our room. Check in was fine, friendly staff, incidentally he was the only staff member we saw. The rooms are so complicated to find, on the search for ours we saw a pillow and shirt just lying on the ground near a water pipe. Had a look at the pool, decided to pass on a swim. The playground is def not safe give that a miss. As we drove off after checking out there was a sign post on the road. Wouldn’t recommending staying here despite it being so cheap.

I just stayed one night only. The price of the room is satisfactory. However, the cleanliness was a bit disappointing. It looked ike they missed vacuuming and doing the cleaning on the floor. A nice area if you like real jungle away from the concrete jungle. Probably not a nice location if you are not driving your vehicle. An okay experience for the price paid.

I booked room in Ibis styles Canberra given its location, I was called and informed that the hot water is not working and that they could not find plumber. I informed thats okay we will be fine with cold water then the receptionist said there is not even cold and would transfer me to Eagle hawk, did not inform that it was in the middle of nowhere.. no uber ( I was not driving) and no restaurant. I was with my parents, showing them around Canberra, wanted them to have good time but all we got was cramped room with disappointing food at the restaurant with manager with attitude problems, getting upset while I was asking simple questions. There was not wifi, poor network. I wanted my parents to have good time but what I got was cramped room, no phone service, no room service. Trust me when I say I would have gone to other hotels if I got car with me; the whole situation made me feel helpless and horrible… made my whole trip miserable. I don’t write reviews, never did.. but this time I feel I have to. Disappointing and disgusting
