ibis Styles Hobart

This is a stylish modern hotel in a good location, about 10 minutes' walk from Salamanca Place (through St David's Park) and less than 15 minutes' walk from the harbour. There are many beautifully restored old buildings nearby. There is an impressive and spacious modern atrium. My room was a reasonable size, clean and well-kept, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed and pillows. It was well soundproofed (it needed to be, as the hotel is on a busy road). There was a good shower, but the cubicle felt rather small. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a wide range of good food for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves a range of Asian food (in large quantities) in what seemed to me (though I am no expert) to be an authentic style. I would be happy to stay here again.

This is a delayed review. I stayed here in August for a few nights. I enjoyed my stay. The room is not big but very clean and convenient. The lobby is spacious and the location is just minutes to everywhere. A recommended stay in Hobart!

Nice hotel but not close to any small mini mart or access to get drinks/OJ etc. The room was very clean. The bed very comfortable. The staff at the bar and Mr Good guy were always happy to help. Had the best prawn Kway teow ever. Had a nice stay. Tassie is wonderful.

Nice, clean and functional hotel. Basic but had all that you needed for a comfortable stay. Nice pool and gym facility. Ran out of toilet paper on my third day and it was not replaced during my turn down service, but when i asked for more it was delivered in record time by housekeeping. Helpful and kind staff :)

A warm hug. Bright smiles and kindness greeted me at this hotel. The room I stayed in was a standard queen room. No view. But who stays in their room while visiting Hobart. Not me. They have a wonderful heated pool, spa and exercise room. I definitely used the pool. Tassie tours picks you up from right out front of the hotel or just up the street and Skybus (from the airport) drops off and picks up right out front as well. Super convenient, I will be back. Thank you.

This hotel came with good reviews but it is really just an average hotel with no real character.||The main entrance sofas were dirty and grimy.||The rooms are basic and nothing special. The beds are comfortable with soft pillows.||It is a dated hotel. The cupboards and shelves beneath the TV were dirty and marked.||Coffee and tea is provided but no bottles of water.||The power points near the bed were behind the bedside drawers and not easy to access.||The door to the room slams shut every time you close it.||I asked for a room with a view and got a view of an industrial generator so my request was ignored.||It is in a good location close to all attractions.||No I’m not a snobby person but this hotel is nothing special in comparison to others close by,

We absolutely loved our stay at Ibis Styles Hobart - every single day felt special. Even simply relaxing back in our room after a full day of walking, with snacks in hand after exploring the beautiful scenery and Salamanca Market, was such a treat. Thank you for an excellent stay! We were genuinely surprised (in the best way!) by the sense of luxury - from the unbelievably comfy beds and friendly staff to the super convenient location. And the pool… absolutely amazing! We used it every day - and the sauna was the perfect way to unwind after a perfect day. Can’t recommend highly enough - we enjoyed every minute!

Great hotel, value for money, clean, tidy and comfy beds. One adult and two children under 16 they also provided a rollaway bed, in the larger room which also accommodate disabled customers. Swimming pool is fantastic, plenty of towels, hot clean sauna. It is worthwhile purchasing the breakfast which is located downstairs in the Asian inspired restaurant. Excellent choice of both hot and cold options. Would return.

I stayed one night here and had a wonderful experience. Check in was quick. They had local apples you could grab for a small donation at the check-in counter. My room was nice, clean, and enough space. When I checked out, they were helpful with showing me how to get the Skybus ticket back to the airport and where it picked you up. It's behind the hotel about a block so that's good to know. The Skybus was on time which was awesome! I didn't eat breakfast but my friends did and enjoyed it.
