We had a good stay and the front desk people were very polite and helpful. The hotel has a laundry service which was convenient and the breakfast buffet was very affordable but had a good selection. It was worth every cent. The 7-eleven at the ground floor was definitely a plus! Location is brilliant with Dohtonbori at your doorstep and Don Quixote only a 2 min walk away!

Comfortable bed, clean room albeit being the fixtures being a bit older. Another pillow could have been better. Staff were incredibly helpful. The free drink for members were also a nice touch as well as the access to the sky lounge. Location is really good with everything being accessible. It can be a bit noisy outside the hotel during evenings or weekends.

Checked in from 9/3-9/6, room number 1011. The room layout is similar to a business hotel. It has an excellent location and is very close to various shops on foot. However, there are many nightclubs and sex workers on the road in front of this hotel. There were a lot of looks at me when I was doing business, and I felt uncomfortable. Some people even passed out drunk and vomited on the roadside. The overall street was quite dirty, but the waiters in the hotel were very polite and excellent, and the breakfast meals were very good. Great, not vegetarian friendly, only a few dishes to choose from.

comfortable room, good location But very surprising that the hotel provides white and red wine for breakfast, however, executive lounge only offers beer and without any snacks or food! And I provided my room number but was denied entry! She asked to show the card holder to access, a bit strange. I think most guests only bring thier room cards, so I didn't enter. But other than that, everything feels good.

Location is not bad, not far from Namba station but the surrounding is quite noisy. The room is more spacious than expected (compared with Japanese brand hotels). Breakfast meets expectation but be aware of group of tourists. Staffs are pretty friendly and English-speaking. The property offers lounge benefit (alcohol and soft drinks provided) and also free hot drink for members at the lobby.

This hotel is at a great location (short walking distance from Dotombori) however because of that it’s VERY LOUD all the way until the sun comes up. Our room was in the front of the building. Even up at the 6th floor we could hear beeping cars revving people laughing yelling etc. the windows don’t keep the sound out. Had to put on some music to help us fall asleep. Our bidet didn’t work, our key gave us a hard time getting into our room and the elevator. The thing that bothered me the most was when we went to check under our bed for anything we might have left like we always do and it was very dirty. That’s not good. I’d stay here again if the windows let in less sound and if there was more put into cleaning under the bed and some minor updates. I found this room to be very expensive for what we got. To be honest.

Great location and price. Friendly staff. However, rooms are not really cleaned properly… found a used mask left behind and hair on the bedsheets. Looked everywhere but couldn’t find the fan for the washroom. So the washroom can get quite smelly or humid. Had sleepless two nights due to the noise level at night time… our room faces the main street and tons of clubs, pubs/bars nearby. 2:45 am there were loud sirens non stop and sounded like police talking through microphones. Room size was not an issue for me as majority of hotel rooms in Japan are quite small. Overall, would pay a bit more for a nicer hotel and away from the main streets

Location is excellent but that's about the best thing i can say about the hotel. Service is very inconsistent. We asked for our towels to be replaced daily. The towels were replaced but they kept taking our robes without replacing them so we always had to ask for new ones although we never asked for them to be replaced. Internet is erratic. I noticed that the wifi was weaker at night which is weird. Are they actually turning down the transmit power of the wifi during nighttime? Speed is also pretty slow. Websites often time out so i had to switch to using my own portable hotspot just to be able to surf so I don't even need to mention trying to watch videos. On the day of check out, as i was checking the room for any items we may have left, i used my flashlight to check under the bed and was utterly disgusted to see that it seems to have never been swept/vacuumed for years. It looked like the attic of an old abandoned house or something. There were blobs/bunches of hair, dust, and dirt everywhere. There was even a discarded chocolate or candy wrapper there. I was telling this to my friend in the other room and she said her's was the same. For such a big international hotel chain this is unacceptable even if this is just a budget boutique hotel. Small hotel rooms are expected in Japan but i never expected dirty rooms as I understand the Japanese are supposed to be meticulous/obsessive when it comes to neatness/cleanliness. I understand that starting March of this year, this will no longer be under Accor management so maybe this is the reason they have decided to disregard/abandon the proper maintenance of the property. Finally, staff don't seem to be properly trained. One day there was a traffic jam for the elevators and i found out that a group of new guests didn't know that you need to insert the key into a card slot before you can press the button for your floor so they were stuck in the elevators going nowhere with the doors just opening and closing repeatedly. I had to force my way to the front and into the elevator to teach them as the staff never seemed to notice the problem. For frequent travelers this is common knowledge but this cannot be assumed automatically for all guests so it must be explained upon check in.
