Gown to the most successful team in the world. Stadium is always bouncing, even when the football is less enjoyable. Most recently come for a cup game and lots of families about which have a good environment for them! Will come up as much as a I can to see and always enjoy the day out. Old form last year was one of the best experiences I have had at a football game!

Google
The home of Glasgow Rangers for 125 years. A wonderful stadium to visit, full of character. Something of a rarity, amongst modern, soulless stadia. A good old fashioned, easy on the eye, football ground, with a wealth of rich history.

Google
The Ibrox Stadium and Museum Tour is a proper behind-the-scenes peek into Rangers' legendary home. Walking through the impressive corridors, seeing the trophy room sparkle, and imagining the roar of the crowd from the dugout gives you goosebumps. The history oozes from every corner, and the guides bring it to life with brilliant stories. It's more than just a stadium tour; it's a journey through Scottish football history. Don't miss it!

Google
Fantastic experience for my birthday. Did stadium tour which was incredible. Trophy room is amazing and you get to see all the behind the scenes areas. Also had hospitality tickets for club Europe for match. Food excellent, and first class seats. A must if you are visiting Glasgow.

Google
Great stadium. Good facilities. Concessions sell food, hot and cold drinks but NO alcohol. Stewarding is good.

It was the best experience I went to the ibrox in 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 with my dad and my papa I’m going back with my Girlfriend and my papa I went to rangers v Hibs game 2025 with my papa

Google
Fantastic stadium with a storied history. We visited on a non-matchday, there were stadium tours on offer as well as a walk around the Rangers museum in Edmiston House which was packed full of Rangers history as well as artifacts a must see for any football follower. There was also a small cafe in Edmiston House to grab a drink. Well worth a stop if you're visiting Glasgow for the day on the open top buses. As a fan, I can only imagine how electric the place is on a matchday - that's on the bucket list!

Yelp
I took the tour of the Stadium a few years ago ,It was well worth it the historic Main stand it a great piece of architecture and the trophy room does not only have a monumental trophy haul but some great smaller quirky memorabilia witch should interest Rangers fans and general football fans alike Ibrox stadium is one of only two Uefa elite stadiums in Scotland (Hampden being the other) and feature's like the main marble staircase and traditional dressing rooms are a testament to this

Yelp
Today, we came to Ibrox Stadium to watch Rangers take on Hamilton. Rangers won 5-0. It was the first European football match that any of us had attended. We sat in the Club Deck. The seating is tight; you will be sitting on top of one another. But, we didn't mind. This is football at its best. Singing Blue Sea of Ibrox and Simply The Best with 51,000+ other Rangers fans was quite the experience. European football is very fun and highly recommended.

Yelp
As an American that has never been to a European football game before, to say Ibrox was a unique experience is putting it mildly. I learned the hard way that every section of the stadium has its own entrance way; there's something like 70 different gates, whereas a MLB or NFL stadium has at most 10. I had to be escorted by security to go in the right way. I sat in the upper deck on the south side of Ibrox (aka the Club Deck). The seats and the section alike were quite cozy; I didn't have a problem with that, but I can see why a man over six feet might have difficulty maneuvering. In any case, the view was unobstructed and the energy all across the stadium was palpable. Aye Ready!

Yelp
I like a lot of Liverpool players, but more than any other, Jordan Ibe Rox. Yes, Ibe Rox, so much that they named this stadium after him. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - I've been here twice. First time was to watch a Scottish League game when I was younger, and I wasn't too thrilled by the place. Largely because I heard sectarian chanting or something. Protestant stuff. Anti-Irish and anti-Catholic. And I'm half Irish, so... but no grudges held. The second time was much better. I think they'd done a lot of renovations. It looks like an absolute palace now. Looks brand new. I have to give it 5 stars. The second and most recent time I watched a match here, I saw Rangers face Liverpool here in a friendly when LFC were managed by Dalglish Part II, and it was a truly amazing atmosphere especially for a friendly. It may be a very old stadium from 1887, but it looks brand new and gorgeous. It's sort of a yellowy gold colour and is a remarkable stadium to watch a game in and everyone should experience it. Of course I've also been to the stadium on 2 or 3 occasions as a tourist just to take photos and walk around. So when I was doing my first tour of Scotland in 2011, I also hit up every single stadium in the country. My obsession with footy (soccer to Americans) is the reason. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are based on first-hand personal experience, usually from multiple visits. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was "stuck" in UK for 3 months, I went to most of them yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at many of them, which I will post later. Also, when back in Scotland I plan to take more pix, and add more stadia! So watch this space! *** return to regular review *** It can hold 51k people, which shows what a massive club Rangers is. Bigger than almost any ground in the UK. It once had 120k people in it for a Celtic game. It used to be a bowl shape, Frank Sinatra once sang here, and Scotland have played here. Simple Minds, Rod Stewart, Elton John and Billy Joel also played here. It has also hosted some cup finals.

Yelp
Ibrox stadium is one of the best and most exciting places you can visit, with a great atmosphere and great people in the stadium to match. It has great accessibility, with stewards everywhere to help you if you find yourself a little lost. It has some good food available for during the game although like at all football grounds, it is a bit more expensive than anywhere else. Ibrox stadium is a perfect day out for all the family to go watch the famous Glasgow Rangers or even for you and a few mates to go and have a laugh. The stadium is modern and clean as well as jaw dropping to look at both inside and out.

Yelp
Although smaller than Celtic Park in terms of capacity, Rangers F.C's 51,000 capacity Ibrox Stadium is still a massive fortress that dominates the skyline on the southern edge of the Clyde. Make no mistake, Ibrox is a historic place, home to a football club who hold not only a European Cup Winners Cup and a world record of 52 league championships, but more domestic trophies than any other club on the planet. Ibrox is pretty much a full house for league and European fixtures; the only times there are a lot of empty spaces are domestic cup ties or friendlies. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not what it used to be though, except for Old Firm games when it is always guaranteed to be very loud. No doubt the loss of terracing has caused the decline of this through the years, as it has at every football ground. The best views of the pitch in Ibrox are from the Club Deck area, high up on the top of the Bill Struth Main Stand. With the exception of the Broomloan Stand, where most of the public sale tickets are offered for, just about the rest of the ground is made up of season ticket holders. The ticket prices are a little steep (roughly £24 a league game for home fans), though when you see the sort of prices they charge in the English Premiership you realise they could be a lot worse. Ibrox is a stunning stadium to look at from inside the ground, looking like more of a fortress these days with two of the corners now filled in. The huge TV screens that are situated in these corners show the game as it is being played and replays of goals, but these days they are either not working or the picture is fuzzy. Not what you'd expect from a Uefa 5-star categorized stadium. The other real dissappointing aspect about Ibrox is the poor toilet and catering facilities. For such a huge club like Rangers, at the very least you would expect working sinks and caterers that don't run out of pies before the match has even kicked off. Sometimes the catering area will even close by the start of the second-half. What good is that to man or beast? Oh well, you can't have everything.

Yelp
Having earlier written off the Louden Tavern, I felt it was time to endear myself a little to my neighbours in blue by reviewing their excellent stadium just south of the River Clyde. Now first and foremost I should point out that I am not a supporter of either the Old Firm, but that doesn't mean I think any more or any less of this structure. There are no two ways about it, Ibrox is one of the best stadiums in Europe. The grand main stand facade has become iconic, while its unique four tier structure makes it one of the most handsome stands in the country. With all four stands a similar size, Ibrox cuts a neat figure and while, like Parkhead, the atmosphere can be a tad subdued for league matches with the Kilmarnocks of this world, getting yourself a ticket for an Old Firm or European game at either stadium is an experience you will not forget in a hurry. As others have stated, Ibrox is one of only four UK stadiums to be awarded a five star rating by UEFA, and very well deserved it is too. Am I forgiven?

Yelp
Depends what the score is can be a good atmosphere depends who you go with and where you are sitting. View of the pitch in some areas is bit difficult for short sighted folk. Prices can vary for adults 25-45 can be the normal. Juniors less and can be some bad language used at games again depends where you are seated and who the oppostion is. Tours are by booking only but there are many trophies and old memorabilia to gaze at.

Yelp
Myself and my son visited Ibrox for the Rugby Sevens during the Commonwealth Games, where the set up was slightly different than you'd find for regular football matches, according to a few people I spoke to in the queue for food. Oh, the queues. The long, slow moving queues. The queues for the food were horrendously long, and by the time we got to the front, a lot of the food had gone, only hot dogs (cut in half and served in burger buns!) and vaguely threatening looking Scotch pies were left. This was at 7.30ish, with about 2 hours of the session left... The queues for the ladies toilets were longer than the queues for the food, and the gents toilets were in a state of disrepair - cracked floors, taps not working and a lack of hand towels to go with no hand driers. Not the most appealing thing to see, being brutally honest. We had a good view of the pitch from our seat, but could only see part of one of the screens at a push. Ibrox is a fine big stadium, but it has the feel of an arena that's best days are behind it. A few repairs, some maintenance and even a lick of paint here and there would do it the world of good. Travel is easy, with Paisley Road West close by and the Ibrox Subway station providing regular services to and from the ground; during the Commonwealth Games there was also shuttle buses provided that were excellent.

Yelp
Yes they are the best club in the history of the game.what of it? Ok well maybe theyre not, but I love rangers, and theres nowt better than an old firm gamethe rivalrty is unreal. Ibrox is a great stadium, and I've had many a happy time there Come on the Gers!

Yelp
The home of the mighty Glasgow Rangers and much more than just a simple football stadium. Ibrox has changed a lot over the years but it has always kept the same look from the outside whilst the massive changes have apeared inside. Obviously Rangers fans like me love the stadium but many travelling fans also look forward to coming to Ibrox just because of the atmosphere the grand stadium generates. They do tours of the stadium on weekdays and the internals of the stadium that people rarely see such as the trophy room and hall of fame are very interesting to rangers fans and football fans alike and the chance to run down the tunnel onto the famos Ibrox turf is a must for every fan!

Yelp
Good modern stadium. access around the stadium is pretty good as well which cannot always be said for glasgow grounds. Nice to come away from having won and silenced the locals. not a frequent occurence though

Yelp
As football stadiums go Ibrox is one of the best - and I'm not even a particularly big rangers fan! One of my best visits to Ibrox involved having a meal in the restaurant. It was amazing! The restaurant itself is very well fitted out, the service was excellent and the food was second to none. Finally - the bill wasn't too huge either! Great :)

Yelp
Ibrox home of the 'Gers. A EUFA cat 5 rate stadium that can host European finals and international, Ibrox is a great stadium which is fully seated. As well as football events, Ibrox can also host concerts. It has a good function suite and a very good restaurant. I recommend joining one of the stadium tours, these are very informative and you may even see the odd footballing superstar!! Ibrox is one of the oldest stadiums in the UK and the front face of the building is Listed, as such any change to the stadium must take this into consideration. There are four stands at Ibrox, The Copland Road stand to the east, this traditionally the Rangers end, The Govan Stand to the north, The Broomloan Stand to the west and finally the Bill Struth Stand or the Main Stand to the south. This main stand is part of the original 1929 stadium. It is this front face that is Listed. There have been two major disasters at Ibrox in its history. The first one in 1902 when twentyfive people died and the second one in 1971 when sixtysix poeple lost their lives.

Yelp
I must admit that i wouldn't say i was a great follower of Scottish football, but when visiting a friend i had the chance to go along to a game i couldn't turn it down. WOW! The game was against celtic and i was totally blown away by the experience. I regularly support a smaller local team so have not come accross the passion and electric atmosphere like that too many times. The noise was liek the ground had taken a life of its own and brought a brilliant air of expectancy to the game. I am glad i have had the chance to see one of these tremendous games and would hope to be able to do the same again in the future.

Yelp
Home to the worlds most successful football club. Ibrox Stadium is a sight to behold!

James W.

Yelp
Arguably the worlds best football club over time, the Glasgow Rangers certainly have one of the more unique facilities in Europe. Before I attended a game, I had many football connoisseurs enlighten me as to the all brick exterior that gives the stadium a very unique look and feel. Once inside, the fan base is exceptionally supportive of their team. Recently a series of legal mishaps saw the team drop to the lowest division in Scotland, yet their rabid fan base still show enthusiastic support for their team. The Glasgow Rangers is truly one of the greatest team of all time as measured by fan support and the genuinely warm reception they give visitors (unless you are a Celtic fan, then be careful). I found the catering for the meals to be truly top notch and the staff to be warm and friendly. When certain staff members found out we were from the USA, they insisted we have an personal tour of their trophy room and even got to visit the pitch after the match.

Yelp
Rangers paly their trade at Ibrox stadium and it's located on the south side of the River Clyde, on Edmiston Drive in the Ibrox district of Glasgow. Whatever you think of Rangers as a club there is no denying that their stadium is mighty impressive. This is one of the UKs oldest and largest sporting stadiums and was one of the first wave of seated football grounds in Britain. The four stands are known as the Copland stand, the Bill Struth Main (South) Stand, the Broomloan Road and the Govan stand. If you want to sit with the Rangers fans then try and get a ticket for the Copland stand as this is where they usually sit - it's the best place to see an exciting second half. I am by no means a football fan but I've visited with my brother and it a bizarre experience to say the least. The content of some of the chants was quite worrying and while many of the fans were there for a good time and to support the team I did get the impression that some wanted to show how tribal they could be.

Yelp
Not a Rangers Fan but have been to the ground and on the tour. Great grounds, the pitch is fantastic. The tour is brief and not as good as others I have been on. The staff are friendly and the players, some of, do take time to sign autographs.

Yelp
Rangers Football club's stadium, situated in the heart of Glasgow. The grounds are well kept and always clean. The food is really nice, They also have a function suite and a lovely restaurant, the food is slightly expensive but tastes great, the service is extremely good and the up-keep is well looked after. The lay out of the ground has been well thought out, only downfall it can be cold so wrap up warm.

Yelp
I took my uncle visiting from Canada on the Ibrox Tour. A great day out which he really enjoyed, especially getting his picture taken with Broxi Bear at the pitch side. A brilliant stadium which has the best atmosphere.

Qype User (scotti…)

Yelp
Located in Glasgow and home to the famous Gers ie Rangers the stadium has had many a change over the year and it looks quite old from the front as they have not touched this much but inside it is quite modern. Made up of 4 stands all with a good view of the pitch. To me it does not matter who they play the atmosphere is always good but there is one team that gets the most exciting and that is when they play in old firm matches ie against celtic. It can get extrememly exciting and sometimes heated! There are various other aspects to the stadium including function rooms, restaurant and a tour which I still have not participated in but maybe one day. The stadium is used not only for Scottish football but also international games and for concerts as the facilities including the toilets are a good standard. This is on the must do list to anyone who visits Glasgow and is interested in football even those who are not particularly football fans seem to enjoy the experience.

Yelp
This is a great stadium to go and watch a European game. The atmosphere in the ground can be fantastic even if the football isn't always at its best. Food is pretty basic around the ground, although club deck has more choice. Decent transport with the underground and buses nearby.

Yelp
Home of Rangers FC. Ibrox is a fantastic stadium full of history although it has been redeveloped over the past 20 years. Great atmosphere on match days Old Firm and European nights especially. Good transport links to the Stadium. 5 Stars.

Yelp
Home of rangers fc. A good stadium. a good atmosphere at the games n you can get a good pie!

Qype User (scotti…)

Yelp
Wondeful club with a great history. Big games here are simply magnificent. Tough, working class area of the shipyards of Govan provides the back drop to Glasgow's oldest club. Proud supporters from a tough city. Good Rangers fans far outweigh the few arseholes that sour some of our past. Like any club we have had our bad points but pride, determination and loyality see us through. The memories of great players from the past keep the clubs legacy flying high. Unfortunately rotten players, terrible money management and bad staffing decisions have kept Glasgow Rangers from reaching their full potential. A European league or an invite to play in England is the only clear future for the club. The money generated and players bought with this could enable Glasgow Rangers FC to become one of Europes biggest clubs. Alas the invites need to come as Rangers dredge away in the pits of despair, the Scottish League. Hopefull the day will come and the invite will arrive through the Ibrox doors. The european nights are an amazing experience as well as meetings with our friends from across the city. Both old firm need each other to survive and in the end its only a sport. Keep that in mind both blue and green.
