ICARO Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Icaro. Everything about this place is simply magical and exceptional. The rooms are very tastefully done and very comfortable. our had a spectacular view to Alpe di Suisi. The staff are very attentive, accommodating and friendly, by far the best treatment in hospitality. And the food at the hotel is outstanding. The pool at the hotel has two parts, the indoor and outdoor with an amazing view to Seiser alm. Its spectacular especially for sunset. The options for the different saunas is amazing too. If you choose to stay here, trust me, you won't regret it and you wont be disappointed.

The Icaro Hotel is perfection. The location is stunning, with a panoramic view of the Dolomites from your room. Everything in the hotel is beautifully done, from the rooms to the saunas and pool. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly and wanting to make you happy! From the front desk staff, to the dining room, everyone was exceptional. We loved the eco consciousness, for example serving smaller (but very ample) portions to reduce food waste. I highly recommend this Hotel, and wish we could go more often.

It’s a great, small hotel. Great location, great facilities, great staff. The food was excellent too. The hotel design/architecture is interesting. When we checked out, they gave us a small bottle of herb mix - it’s a nice gesture. Sarah helped us with the drive-in permit. She was very effective. I am not sure how the permit works as we were not checked/stopped by anyone. If you drive to the hotel, do drive super slowly. It is an almost no-car zone; some impatient cyclists could be aggressive. Leave your car at the hotel and just walk around or do a hike or two. If the clouds are cooperating, you could catch the sunrise and the sunset, and watch the night sky.

Just got home from an absolutely fantastic stay here at Icaro Hotel. The staff are all amazing and I couldn't ask for more. They really looked after us, and took care of my nut allergy and my fiancée's birthday.||The location is jaw dropping. Such spectacular views right from the room, and really easy access to some very peaceful trails. It's much quieter than the nearby town of Ortesei.||The rooms are really comfortable and the spa area is great. If I could give more than 5 stars, I happily would! A perfect long weekend and we wish it would have been longer.

The hotel is exceptional where located up the mountain where you can have your own natural scenery. We were able to see the sunrise and stars at night…. The panorama grass field with flowers are a one of a kind experience. The dinner we had are a Michelin services with top quality of food. The services of the restaurant manager and staffs are very impressive where we are also hoteliers at 5 stars hotels impressed us. Facilities are very well equipped and the spa and sauna are having the latest new model too. I love staying in this hotel and highly recommended this were this surely my first bucket. Also the small gift to give us at our check out as a small gesture surprises us. I wish to come back again every year.

Our family LOVED our stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly. The hotel is small and secluded (privacy!! Away from any type of crowds) and has the most amazing views! We had booked our rooms to include breakfast and dinner (food was excellent). This is perfect since there are no grocery stores nearby and we could focus on just having a great time. Highly recommend the wellness area with the pool and the optional massage therapies. We will be back for sure!

The stay was fine but below expectations. We arrived the hotel after a long hike and then drive from ortesi. We arrived at 640 not realizing the entire spa and pool would close at 7. The front desk told us to hurry down to try to enjoy for 10 mins. I tried and got a few mins in the spa area before being pushed out. The whole reason we got the hotel was to enjoy the pool and views and spa area and we just couldnt. I cant imagine why it would need to close at 7pm it was total nonsense. Then i thought ok well i can at least have a morning steam/sauna session before leaving but then we find that the spa doesnt open until 230pm which is just crazy and nonsense. Ive never stayed anywhere that has this kind of policy to open only when the guests have to be gone from previous night. I really couldnt believe it. I asked if we could just use the steam room in the morning and the front desk (short orange hair and glasses) just said oh i have no idea how to turn that on sorry. It felt like the twilight zone to pay the money for the stay and not be able to enjoy the amenities. Will not stay there again.

Let me tell you, this was the most beautiful hotel ive ever stayed in. The customer service was next level and the entire staff is kind and it is clear that there goal is to make all guest feel welcomed and cared for. I honestly can not put a price on that. The dinner menu changes nightly allowing for fresh and new experiences every night. The views of the mountains from our room were so beautiful, honestly we joked that it looked fake. Im a sucker for kind and caring people and this place is full of them. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, filled with good food and good views, please stay here!
