I recently visited ICC Pudu Food Centre and was thoroughly impressed by the wide variety of authentic local dishes available. Among the many options, I tried the Lala Bee Hoon, Curry Niang You Hu, Hainanese Coffee, and Fried Fish Rice, and every dish left a lasting impression. The Lala Bee Hoon was light yet flavorful — the clams were fresh, and the broth carried a natural sweetness with a hint of seafood richness. The Curry Niang You Hu stood out for its aromatic, creamy curry and tender stuffed fish pieces, a perfect balance of spice and comfort. The Fried Fish Rice was another highlight — crispy on the outside yet juicy inside, paired beautifully with fragrant rice and sambal. To complete the meal, the Hainanese Coffee was strong, smooth, and perfectly roasted, delivering that classic old-school kopitiam flavor. What makes ICC Pudu Food Centre truly special is not just the food, but the vibrant atmosphere — a perfect blend of tradition, efficiency, and community spirit. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and every stall feels passionate about what they serve. This is truly a five-star destination for anyone who loves authentic Malaysian flavors.

A bustling hotbed for locals here to congregate for breakfast and lunch mainly, due to its large concentration numbers of food stalls offering a wide range of mainly local Chinese local hawker fare. A wide range of choices to select depending on one's inkling. Overall all the ones that I tried were pretty good and authentic. Despite their busyness, the operators were still relatively polite and friendly, partly I supposed due the the competition of a few repeated food type stalls. The ordering system here is self service and pricing is reasonable. I came at a non peak time, and was able to find certain seating spots were more airy at the edge with openings (no hemp in) than those internal spots. I supposed, one would not have such luxury at peak and packed times, as this place is obviously very popular among the locals and visitors. The set up here is quite basic, with the attention focused on the food. I was quite surprised that the floor is just cement screed finished and not tiles for eater facilities, though overall the place is considered quite clean and tidy.

Managed to score a clean, cool table tucked all the way inside this huge and humid hawker centre near Bunn Choon (egg tarts). Tried the vegetarian laksa as there was no queue. Didn’t taste like the laksa I’m more familiar with and instead had an Indian curry taste.Still, it was rather nice. Uncle’s Fresh Coconut here is a must try! It’s huge, icy and refreshing, and best of all, the metal spoon to scoop the tender sweet flesh at the end of the meal was the best desert on a hot afternoon. The Yong Tao Fu was okay but the freshly made chee cheong fun that went with it - I can eat 5 servings and ask for more. Just a simple drizzle of soy sauce and sesame oil and it’s like so soft yet chewy, light not stodgy like most rice noodles. Heavenly yum yum.

I didn't understand the hype about this food court. We ate at the most popular Ahfook Yong Tau Fu stall and found it to be grossly overrated by YouTubers. Yes it is cheap but the quality of ingredients is low and the whole thing was really tasteless. I also tried the fabulous popiah. It was just ok and lacking in complexity of ingredients and crispness. I think I've had better ones in Singapore. The triple layer lava cake - fun to eat but very oily and lacks depth of flavours. I have to agree that the taste and atmosphere here is authentic Malaysian. It's hot, cheap and bustling. Maybe it's still worth one visit just for the experience. But make sure you get there early before lunch because some of the popular stalls did sell out when we got there at 1pm.

Cheap and good. Just have to bear with the "sauna like" environment. Amidst the seemingly chaotic vibe, there is a "system", like how the cleaners quickly clear up the tables and how the diligent drinks stall workers go around taking orders and delivering the right orders! There are many many stalls and can be overwhelming but I have my own favourites. Really enjoyed the yam cake, the steamed promfet fillet and the seafood rice porridge! Also the very yummy spring roll (popiah) with very nice "textured" filling and cost less than Sgd$1 per roll! You must walk all the way in and you will find the stalls with the authentic hawker fare. Also, some of the stalls have very (PRC) kind of sign boards. That's another indication of authenticity of the fare they are offering. Breakfast hours only (most stalls closed by noon). For Singaporeans, take note that there is table service and you do not need to return tray! Amazing.

The Imbi pork noodle kennot. Too bland and expensive for the quality of pork. The other stuff like apam balik and keng cheow Hailam coffee are awesome. I will try the Hailam chicken rice and Teochew fish noodle next time. Oh yeah, the water here quite dirty. Service of table kinda slow at times because lack of manpower. Understandable. Atmosphere. Weekday is good (before and after the peak rush hour of lunchtime). Weekend is overcrowded and hard to find table to sit down and eat.

First time visited this huge and obviously very popular hawker centre. Very impressed with the variety of food available. Eventhough there was a huge crowd, there was no problem finding a table. We tried the beef noodle and curry noodle Both were good. We bought the dumplings for breakfast the next day. They were very delicious with lots of meat. Yum yum. Will definitely go again, even went round to check which are the popular stalls (with long queues). Haha...

It may be hot because not all area has air conditioner. Food really cheap at about 30rm for all this but just paid in cash or touchngo wallet no card
