We had lamb chop and burger. Nice food with a good dinning ambience. It was almost 8pm when we had dinner and by the time we complete, it was 9pm. Nobody chase use out, but of course the restaurant left a side door for us to leave.

Ordered a Lamb Goulash after a chilly visit to the waterfall. Lovely hearty meal that tastes as good as it looks.

I ordered the fish stew and my friend had the house salad. The proportions were huge! The fish stew is less of a stew by American standards and more like potatoes au gratin, but with fish. Very hearty and filling. It came with very dense rye bread that wasn't very tasty on its own, but paired with the fish stew, turned out to be very good! The bistro was quite busy with tourists but we were able to get in and out in the allotted hour.

It’s more like a canteen-styled restaurant and I was usually skeptical about this kind of restos (as a person that lives in the UK)🤨 BUT…. 💛The food here was actually better than what I expected - it still represented the Icelandic food in a good way that the taste was not at all different from the food in other fancier restaurants, and the price here was a lot cheaper than those ones. 😜🍚My Fun Highlight: They can cook much better rice than any restaurant in the UK 👍🏻So really good value for money and perfect for a quick lunch

We are here as part of a guided tour stop, it’s okay if you are in a hurry but the food is nothing special. We ordered 2 x fish and chips which cost us £35.64, portions were large, fish was over fried but overall the meal was good.

We stopped here during one of our Iceland tours. Of all the places we stopped, it felt the most fast food. However, they were starting with a superior level of fish and lamb, so it was still decent. The view outside was better than the one inside.

I stopped by here after visiting the black beach, and it is such a fantastic spot to do all the things that you need: eat at a restaurant, shop at Icewear, and then go grocery shopping at their supermarket. All in one place, and there’s also a gas station outside the establishment! The view from the restaurant is spectacular. View of the mountain and the beach

Meh. Eat here only if you're in a hurry. Very greasy and oily. The lamb stew tastes like out of a can of Campbell's soup. Very disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high.
