Ice Palace

Ice Palace is hands down one of the best ice cream shops I’ve ever visited! The flavors are incredibly rich, creamy, and creative — you can tell they use quality ingredients. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself has such a fun, cozy vibe. Whether you’re stopping by on a hot day or just craving something sweet, Ice Palace is a must-visit. Highly recommend to anyone who loves ice cream done right! The best part. They’re pet friendly too!

Kinda far from me to just go for ice cream but this might have been the best ice cream I’ve ever tried in my entire life. My favorite flavor was definitely the pistachio and the workers were really nice and welcoming. If I’m ever in that area again I would 100% go again.

What a cute ice cream place! Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I like the decoration inside. Everybody that works there is very nice. Plenty of flavors to choose from and they even have treats/pops for your dogs. Big parking lot too so that's nice. I will come back when I'm in the area. Next time I want to do the food challenge and try their Ice Palace Supreme! Make sure to bring cash as this place is cash only.

Classic ice cream parlor with delicious desserts and great service!

Great ice cream with great selections. Had a cup of moose tracks ice cream it had chocolate fudge with peanut butter cups and was absolutely amazing. The strawberry cheesecake is also wonderful. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Is it really summer if we don't visit the ice palace? I think not. The flavor selection is great. My favorites are strawberry cheesecake on a waffle cone and monster cookie coupled with cotton candy ice cream in a cup. The brownies they make for the ice cream is also delicious too. My dad loves the espresso.

Such a wonderful and friendly staff. The place is immaculate and the ice cream is superb. Highly highly recommend. Best place in seaside. They even have dog ice cream.

Left my wallet/phone there, found it safe and sound at the register when I returned over an hrs later. Very friendly and excellent customer relationship skills. Highly recommended. P.S. By the way, awesome ice cream and my shake was perfect. Thanks!

Ice Palace is located just over the Tom's River bridge into Ortley Beach. There are ice cream parlors everywhere in this area and this one is a little off the main road. So if you want to avoid crowds, stop by this one as their ice cream is good. Plus they have a variety of flavors and ices too. Prices here a little more than my favorite ice cream shop in Lavallette and Ice Palace also charges a credit card fee. It's a few blocks from the house I rented, but we'd rather drive a bit to other places. Still, I'll give them five stars as they're good enough and there's plenty of seating inside, plus an actual parking lot!

Good family neighborhood place. Fun ice cream flavors. They celebrated 7/25/22- Christmas in July theme. Fun!! Pup cups a must try!!

Can't tell you how it is because it's cash only and they don't have an atm inside. Very dumb business model.

This place is some kind of hobby business as its not serious. It's rarely open and when it is, you have to suspect that the ice cream is not fresh because, as I said, it's rarely open. They used to have a proper sign on the roof as well, that fell into disrepair long before Sandy ever happened. They just don't want to put any money into the place. Currently they have a press board sign shaped as an ice cream cone with some PAR-38 lamps shining on it, It looks terrible. I can't say I recommend going here. Unfortunately the Dairy Queens in this area aren't much better but for other reasons.

Charming, family ice cream shop. The hard ice cream is creamy and full of rich flavor. I got the chocolate peanut butter ripple topped with peanut butter cups (drooling). My hubs got the cold brew shake and it was yummy too. The staff were so so friendly, immaculate customer service.

4 adults and 2 kids couldn't finish the supreme--brownie base, three super scoops of ice cream, covered with fudge sauce, gummies, M&Ms, Reese's chunks, whipped cream, and cherries. Can't be beat!

Ditch Dairy Queen go to here this is a dog friendly place with dog pops and water bowls at every table. Friendly staff and just great service. I ordered a small Cookie Monster shake and a chocolate and vanilla twist with caramel best ice cream ever! I would definitely recommend only 10 dollars too this is why you should go here !

What a nice surprise to find awesome vegan (almond-based) soft serve in this area. Great non-vegan flavors and toppings, too. TD bank right across the street if you need cash.

Good solid place for ices and ice cream. Lots of flavors and choices of toppings. The staff was nice and friendly, even when we walked in with 9 people and none of us knew what we wanted. They have Italian ices, soft serve ice cream, regular ice cream, all sort of treats like banana splits as well as shakes and malts. They definitely cover all the bases for some ice cream bliss.

Very charming establishment with a pretty cool variety of flavors. The employees were patient while we made our ice cream selections and were very pleasant! Place is super clean!

Old school ice cream parlor with a thing called customer service that's often missed at the chain that shall remain nameless. The ice cream was VERY GOOD, tasted homemade not like it had been shipped from some factory somewhere (if it is, it doesn't taste like it! lol) There's indoor and outdoor seating, and we went twice during our week stay at the Shore. If you're in the area, you have to try this place! FYI it's cash only, so come prepared!
