A few decent clothes but the customer service at the store level is ruined by the corporate level which is really grim. Sent an email about an issue, at the stores suggestion, on July 21st 2023, received an email immediately that read "due to high volume of emails we are experiencing... ...we will respond as soon as possible" 56 days and no reply. Try someplace else.

Staff are knowledgeable and helpful with selecting appropriate items for what I needed. The products are high quality. These are expensive but worth it. There are some sales, call ahead to confirm if you’re going out of your way to shop there.

Friendly staff that are knowledgeable and willing to help find your needs. I recently bought a product online that wasn’t the right fit and were able to help me swap with another item. Great customer service.

Their merino blend socks just don't last very long and wear out fast ... Seems to be a problem with several models/versions. Also note that the IceBreaker lifetime sock replacement warranty is now gone, so that speaks volumes about the longevity of their products (and their online store has ignored my inquiries for weeks so far).

Many of the negative reviews seem to come from a place of frustration, which is understandable. However, some of the negative reviews are just as wyt as you could imagine (so entitled) Yet, these people won’t leave a positive reviews (bet) Anyway, came here (Oct 5th) and had such a simple but nice experience. Came in, checked some base layers helped out with the wonderful staff. I didn’t find what’s exactly I was looking for and the staff double checked the site and see if they carry a specific item. Ended up purchasing a different one and then out. Came back again few minutes later as there was a price error and then the staff helped me through. Simple. Communicate nicely and It’s not that hard to be gentle to yourself and into others especially with customer service.

Own a large amount of Icebreaker clothing, including socks. The quality is great and I put them through the test in the Alps. I don’t agree with the negative comments here - the quality is great. Merino is an absolute gift to the body.

Stylish with simple base colours (black, brown, etc.). Products are made from merino wool from New Zealand. Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and quick in providing assistance and giving recommendations. A bit on the high-end side on price but very much worth it. We basically bought our complete winter set from this store (beanie, chute, base layer, insulation jacket, socks).

‘Socks replaced no questions asked’ What a lie. I went into the store to replace socks that have worn out. The socks are stamped with the Icebreaker name. There we so many questions Which store were the socks bought, when we’re the sock’s bought. In the end the store manager refused to honour the company commitment. I do not trust this company

Expensive and doesn't last. Go to Patagonia or arcteryx instead. I'm sad I have to write this review but it's what I have recently experienced. Apologies to the Queen West staff who have always been pretty awesome over the years. Icebreaker used to have a full no questions asked sock warranty. Unfortunately, I never had to claim it until it was too late. They changed the warranty and now you only have one year and you must have your receipt. I'm sitting on several pairs of hole-y socks. The best they could do was provide a claim for 2 pairs. If you were one of those people who claimed socks after socks after socks, thanks for nothing. The people who abuse the system are the ones who ruin it for others. In this case, the company should've done the right thing. We've been buying icebreaker products for years. Brand loyalty means nothing to them.

Store staff are great but the product has lost its way. A brand that was about wool and athleticism has come to be about plastics and casual wear. The designs have gotten cheap. Double zippers are all gone. The fit is more boxy. And a lot of the offerings have become like B-grade athletic wear. I used to buy hundreds of dollars a year from them. I'm still wearing the original stuff because the mew stuff has less panels and more plastic (nylon etc). What a shame. A great brand that's been dumbed down. You can no longer buy a wool vest without a plastic windbreak shell stuck on it. I never leave icebreaker empty handed but this time I couldn't even force myself to buy something. All the great colors are gone and - men's legging with a seam down the center ?? Come on. They used to be 8 panel ... Started to look at other merino companies like smart wool now. Hope icebreaker wakes up.
